Henry and Leo are sweet pups and lovely to take care of. They each have a distinct personality and it was fun getting to know them a little bit during my stay. Whenever I sat down on the couch, they'd come join me. It's easy for one person to take them out for a walk together on their leashes, as they are light in weight and they follow the lead well. Randel's instructions were clear, home and guest area were comfortable. It was a pleasure to pet sit for Randel.
Vicki was easy-going, generous and an absolute pleasure to get to know both pre- and post-sit. Her place was homely and cosy and beautifully situated in the heavily vegetated and hilly region of Stanwell Park - just a short walk to the beach. Her dog Chiquita was incredibly loveable and some highlights included her cuddling on my lap, her burying her head under a blanket to sleep and being very curious whilst on walks. The whole housesit was such a pleasure that I got very sad saying goodbye.
As my first sit I thought it couldn’t be this good! Welcoming family to meet Mr Taters (Mateo the pup) and such a beautiful neighbor hood and neighbors and views from the window seat of My Adam’s on a clear day. The area is perfect for walking so our 2 dailies after meals were fun and included stairs (by MY choice) so bonus workouts! Communication was fluid back and forth with many photos sent to them, but I was overjoyed seeing sites where they we’re traveling as well. Simply delightful…I’ll miss Mateo and will be back to visit Hood Ari er often! Thanks for the chance to love your dog!
We had a very relaxing time at Colleen and Mike's home. Sullivan (dog) is high energy and loves to play, while Rambo always runs for cuddles. They are both incredibly sweet and fun to be with! Colleen and Mike are wonderful hosts and the house is beautiful and located in a very safe area with easy freeway access. They are parks all around which is great for hiking, and Sullivan will walk for miles which makes this a fun sit. Thank you, we look forward to coming back!
We had the most amazing time at this sit! The apartment is spacious, beautiful and has the most incredible view. Our time there truly felt like a vacation. Deborah is a wonderful host, who left us with clear instructions and was always available when we had questions during our sit. The star of the sit, Josie, is the sweetest, easiest, most affectionate pup we’ve ever had to look after! Thank you Deborah for everything!
I absolutely relished the whole time I was sitting Beau. Erin's house was spotless when I arrived and she even had fresh flowers on the dining room table for me. I really appreciated the chance to meet them before they left for their trip, and I hope it benefitted their peace of mind as well. Specific to me, the pillows, comforter and mattress were GREAT. My body is not a fan of soft mattresses that dip and this one was very comfortable yet supportive! And the pillows supported my sleep. I by no means expected this, and had brought my own pillows but was a lovely surprise to not need them! I am absolutely in LOVE with Beau. He really doesn't have recall so I would get creative at the dog park, and would have to not let him know we were leaving for a walk otherwise I would have to play the game and chase him under the dining room table. He's hilarious. He LOVES to go out for the walk but then wants to play hide and seek before leaving the house. I figured you out Beau! Beau got a couple of scratches on his feet in the last week, had a limp for one day, and Erin was great to communicate with about any action that needed to be taken. (I washed the cuts and then they healed fine, and the limp went away after Beau slept on the heating pad. So perhaps it was just sore muscles after a big day out). I hope to come back and sit for Beau again. I loved waking up with his face (and SNORES - bring ear plugs) in my neck!
