Communication with Jo was very good before and during the sit. I was given all the information that I needed and she responded to messages while she was away. Jo and Neil made me so welcome and relaxed in their very comfortable home. Neil kindly picked me up from the airport and a lift was arranged for me to take me back. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and conversation we shared on the evening before they left for their trip. I was introduced to a friend, who kindly took us for a walk along the coast. Although Nina was recovering from an illness, she was still great company. She thoroughly enjoyed playing in the garden, showing off her skills at jumping for the frisby! The short walk down to the bay was beautiful. It was so quiet and relaxing and a perfect spot to enjoy a takeaway coffee from The Hungry Man Cafe! I highly recommend this sit in a beautiful part of Jersey.
This review is far overdue, our apologies! Adrianna is such a lovely woman who welcomed us and our dog Zeus into her home with Michiko. We chatted over video where she gave us a tour of her home and walked us through how Michiko’s day goes. When we arrived, Michiko was even cuter in person! Given that our pup is older, he rarely plays with other dogs. Michiko was some how able to bring out Zeus’ energy and they had numerous play sessions. Michiko walks well on the leash and is so well behaved. Inside, Michiko loved playing with toys and was so gentle. If given the chance and our schedules aligned, we’d come back and watch Michiko in a heartbeat.
Nancy and Terry's place is absolutely stunning, and they are deeply warm and generous people. We were so grateful to land in their space and spend our first two weeks of moving to California in their cozy and down to earth home. Sofya is a gentle protector and a joy to be around. The goats are wild and hilarious. Nancy and Terry have put a lot of energy into creating a farm and ecologically supportive home that feels like a restorative retreat. We were grateful to meet and connect with them as well as share their special space!
I had a lovely stay at Gabrielle's with Minifée! Although our travel plans meant that Gabrielle and I didn't meet in person, she was super easy to communicate with and fast to respond to any issues. The bed was damaged just before she left, and she did her best to arrange repairs and eventual replacement as quickly as possible and at good times for my schedule. Minifée was an absolute delight and I definitely missed her when I left. The apartment is only a short walk from several bus options towards the lake, and there were great options for walking nearby. Highly recommended sit!
We had a wonderful time at The Old Post Office over Christmas with all the animals. The house is stunning, homely and really comfortable with cosy log fires, and is well equipped with everything you need to feel at home, it was also decorated beautifully for Christmas! The surrounding village and countryside are lovely to explore. We really enjoyed our daily walks with Betty and Peggy who were a joy to be around and made us feel at home straight away. They’re both well behaved, affectionate and fun dogs. The cats and chickens were no trouble to take care of and the cats enjoyed a few cuddles at meal times too. Hen was a pleasure to communicate with. She sent videos before the sit and there were written instructions on our arrival so everything was super clear. We had the most wonderful break in Ecchinswell and would recommend the sit to anyone. Thanks Hen & family! chickens
Beautiful home in a convenient location near lots of restaurants and great shopping. The two dogs were very easy to take care of and delight to be a around. I was fotunate to get to know a wonderful family and was made to feel very welcome by my hosts and their polite and charming children. I would gladly return any time the Andrews Family needed me to look after Winnie and Hilda.
