This was our first time leaving our puppy for three weeks, and we abroad unable to respond to emergencies. Marla and Chad showed competence and professionalism to the house/pet sit. We knew from our first meeting we could rely on them and we were right. They came in advance to reassure us and allow our puppy to play with their dog Teej—we were unsure how that would work, but it was fantastic and now we wish we had another dog as a companion to our puppy. We returned to a super clean house. Marla sent photos and videos of our dog (a talented pet photographer) and Chad provided lots of attention for extra walks. We heard from neighbors about Chad and his easygoing demeanor. Excellent care and wonderful people (and dog).
Kaj and Marie made us feel so welcome in their home and communication before and during was great. Marie was out of the country but communicated via Wattsapp throughout our stay and Kaj was so welcoming when we arrived at there home and took the time to go over everything with us. Cooper and Kassi are adorable staffies. They both love cuddles and definitely enjoy the attention. Kassi is sassy and makes sure Cooper knows she's boss and that she gets attention when she wants it. Cooper is a big softy. We took them out on loads of walks including a national trust site and never had any issues. We did keep them away from other dogs but no issues when we were passing by them. They are strong dogs and Cooper can pull occasionally but if you stop he does tend to stop doing it for a bit. In the evening Kassi occasionally refused to come out on a walk and Cooper didn't pull when on his own. Both dogs are crate trained and are both great travelling in the car. Would definitely recommend.
Great people and pets.
Wow not only an amazing and friendly couple are Katie and John, they have a beautiful home and a loving purring machine fluffball. The welcome pack put together is extensive and thoughtful, as were the delicious treats on arrival. I truly relished the sit in a beautiful home, fluffball sitting on my lap and chilling watching Netflix. I can't wait to sit again, being only a mile from where I live. This is why I joined this superb community. 😃
We had a really enjoyable time and Kate had done everything possible to make our time looking after the animals easy. The dogs are a motley crew of shapes and types but form a lovely friendly team and taking them out walking is fun. The horses are calm and friendly and the cat is quite self-sufficient but loves company. It is a great location for walking and visiting nearby towns and villages. We have no hesitations in recommending this sit to other housesitters.
Tom and Sophie have a beautiful home in the suburb of Yarraville, close to plenty of lovely cafes and easily accessible from the city. Bobbi and May are the sweetest dogs who are so friendly and easy to look after! I had a lovely stay at Tom and Sophie’s and would highly recommend it.
We both thoroughly enjoyed this sit. Great communication throughout the stay. Beautiful location near the beach for a lovely time in Valencia. But the best part of the stay is their beloved furry family members & cute turtle 😊. The pups are the sweetest , enjoyed some nice walks and cuddles together . And the cats are friendly , as well. 10/10 recommend. All around a great sit.
