Beautiful lakefront home in a quiet neighborhood with shopping nearby for anything you might need. The homeowners were easy to communicate with and accommodations were a comfy and clean downstairs apartment with a gorgeous lakeview. The star of the show is Champ, the sweet, chocolate lab who is a true gentle giant. Hugo, the cat, enjoyed cuddling on the sofa and playing with our dog, whom we bring to all sits. Definitely a place to return!
I enjoyed sitting for Layla and Oliver! Ali left a very detailed welcome guide and was quick to answer any questions I had. Layla and Oliver are such sweet dogs and love to be wherever you are. When I worked on my laptop at the desk in the bedroom, they would cuddle up on the bed near me. They also love to snuggle in bed with you, which was very comfy. I got such great sleep there! I loved Ali's home, which has so much character, is incredibly organized, and felt like I was at "home". There is so much to do nearby. I loved getting out and exploring the area while there. Highly recommend this sit!
We had a great time with Emily’s cats: Io and Cali. They are adorable to watch and be around, they love people and each other, it just warmed my heart seeing how they sleeping hugging each other every day. Emily has beautiful place with the vibe of little English’ tea garden at the terrace, overlooking the ocean and inviting to spend evening with the book and tea while kitties are wrapping up around your feet. The place is in walking distance to the most popular beach in SD and beautiful lagoon, which made our stay feels like a real vacation. The most important, Emely was so wonderful and sweet to communicate with, she made sure we had a comfortable stay and had a good time in SD, she was very responsive and supportive during our stay. We would highly recommend this sit. Thanks dear Emily, for everything; we will carry the memories of the beautiful moments we spent with Io and Cali in San Diego.
We had a fabulous first sit on Trusted House Sitters at Towyn’s lovely historic house. We loved looking after Tilly who very easy to care for and really warmed up to us over our stay. She’s an independent cat but loved a tummy rub out in the garden. There was so much to do and explore in the area such as Hampstead Heath, Kenwood house and the lovely shops in Highgate village. Towyn was very accomodating and has lots of interesting tips about the area. We would love to stay here again :) Thanks Towyn and hope to see you again soon.
Homer is a super sweet dog and easy to care for. We loved taking him on walks to the park nearby and getting lots of cuddles from him. Ann was very friendly, the apartment is cozy and well-equipped :)
Pang-zi and Charlotte are beautiful siblings, very friendly and easy-going. In two days, the cats were talking to me, loving getting brushed, and even climbing up to sit with me. Nigel and Karen made the transition for me comfortable, and they were easy to contact and make arrangements with. The cats' schedule was clearly laid out and simple to follow. The condo was clean, the bed so comfortable, and the view and town unbelievable. This was my first THS sit, and Karen and Nigel celebrated the event for me and made it special, something I was not expecting. Both are friendly, warm, adventures, and interesting individuals whom I was delighted to spend time getting to know. I highly enjoyed my time with Pang-Zi and Charlotte and would return in a heart-beat.
