Cat Sitters in Walton On The Naze

Glenda and Martin were amazing pet sitters for my 3 girls. Before the actual sitting started we made arrangements for Glenda and Martin to meet the dogs as the dogs are rather large and they can be a bit intimidating when met all together, but Glenda and Martin were so natural with them and obviously liked them from the start and our girls relaxed very quickly with them. Glenda and Martin stayed with us for roughly an hour getting to know how we handled the girls and how the girls responded to their instructions, and I think were very pleased that the girls were so good. We explained the differences in them and medication requirements etc. and Glenda and Martin took it all on board. We made a second date for Glenda and Martin to come back and take the girls for a walk as they are big and a sitter needs to know if they are easy enough to walk. The girls passed their test, they are not perfect but if you know of any problems and how to respond to them then that is most of the battle won. The day came for us to leave for our break and as usual Glenda and Martin arrived in time for us to feed the girls before we left as we needed to show them how the girls get fed, i.e. where they like to sit and they have to wait before they get the command to eat. All went well and off we went. During our time away (1 week) Glenda kept me informed with texts and videos and photos regarding the girls and they all seem to have got on very well, so well that I thought the girls would have their bags packed and want to live with Glenda and Martin. We would be very happy to have Glenda and Martin sit for our girls any time, they were clean and tidy and left the house as they found it. This was the first time we have used a sitter and found the proposition of leaving someone in our home a bit daunting, but have got to say that our sitters left us happy to leave our home and our precious girls in their care. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Will and Leah were great pet sitters. Their communication was excellent before and during the sit. They sent photos and messages to keep us up to date on how our dog was going. And they left the house in the same condition as we left it. We would recommend and welcome them back anytime 🙂

Sylvia was absolutely lovely. Very flexible when organising the sit and very thorough in making sure she knew exactly what was expected with regards to looking after Bertie - not that he's demanding. I returned home to a very happy dog and clean and tidy home. Sylvia was even kind enough to water some grass seed I had recently sown and the pots on the patio as the weather had been so warm. She'd also stripped the bed, washed the bed linen and put out to dry which was much appreciated on my return home. I'd definitely have her back and have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for a pet/home sitter. Thank you Sylvia.

Hi this is the second time Danielle has looked after Tilly. She is a lovely, caring person and Tilly is very happy when Danielle looks after her. Daniel ensures she has lovely walks and lots of cuddles which Tilly loves. She regularly sends us updates and photographs. I would highly recommend her for any future sits.

Christine was absolutely brilliant when she stayed over to look after my two cats for 12 days. The house was left in a spotless condition as we had left it and she provided regular updates of how the cats had been getting on. My very shy cat took to Christine well and even came inside the house to eat which I felt was very impressive! I recommend Christine highly and would love to have her back again to cat sit. Christine was also very accommodating and asked if I needed anything extra doing which I found very kind. Thank you Christine for all your help!

Hollie was a delight to have looking after MangoTango. She sent me regular updates and kept the house pristine. Happy to have her back any time.

Hayley was a perfect sitter. This sit was different from our normal sits, as my sister was in the appartment and I could not physically welcome her. However, this was not a problem as the communication with Hayley was perfect and I could explain things via videocall. Bochechas was very happy with the attention (and extra food) he got, which gave us a relaxed feeling. Would surely ask Hayley again to sit!

Kate and Ricardo were such a lovely family. They kept us informed and left the house very tidy. We would happily have them again.

Lynne and Ray were very happy to sit for Dora despite it being only 4 days with a considerable journey to get to Bath. They are very professional with animals and made us feel totally confident leaving Dora. The house was tidy and much as we left it without even a teaspoon out of place. Dora was happy to see us but quickly went looking for her other friends. A very Happy Dora and ourselves.

Hayley and her daughter stayed at our home for a week to look after our 2 dogs and a cat. We met them before we left and they were both lovely. We arrived home to find the house immaculate with all bedding laundered and back on the beds and happy animals. I could not recommend Hayley highly enough. 😊
