Roger, Virginia and Phoenix are the nicest people you will ever meet! Their energy and enthusiasm for everything (especially each other) and their lives was so lovely to see and really inspired me :) In terms of the housesit itself, we felt incredibly lucky to be able to stay! Our daughters spent every single day swimming all day long, playing tennis, running around the garden and living their best lives . . .Our teenager is now a pro at pool and was obsessed with the VR. Most of all, the girls loved the cats. Our youngest two particularly miss Snowy who would come and cuddle them in bed every morning! I really hope we can meet again soon and whoever gets to stay here in the future will be very lucky! Thank you guys for all your kindness :)
Trish and Michael are wonderful, and they were so brilliantly prepared and supportive of our housesitting. We kept in contact throughout, and each adapted to the ever changing circumstances due to Covid19. Their home is wonderful, so peaceful, homely and convenient for walks. We truly loved caring for the home and of course, the gorgeous Luka! How can anyone not fall in love with Luka, he's such a loving joyful being, we already miss him, and hope to see him and the family again soon, and maybe for future sits. Trish and Michael were and are the perfect house-sitting hosts, and we now consider them friends, as they are excellent human beings to boot!
The visit to Spohronie was a pure pleasure. We spent a nice time walking and admiring the small island of Roko. The dog's parents welcomed us very nicely and left the whole apartment to themselves. We were even able to use their bicycles. The neighborhood is beautiful, the apartment is amazing. Thank you for the kind welcome and we wish you all the best! We already miss Sophronie.
The kitties, Scout and Monkey, are pretty self sufficient, and Josh is impressively prepared with a house booklet with all info needed for the pet sit to make this experience smooth. The kitties love to sit in your lap and sleep close to you. I really enjoyed meeting Josh, exploring Lone Pine, and loving on the kitties.
Susan and her partner were very welcoming, helpful and kind. They invited me to stay one day longer which was really supportive for me and my further travel plans. They live in a very modern apartment with a really nice communal pool and private garden. It's a 10 minute drive to the beach and the area is very safe. Gino is a lovely, relaxed and very affectionate dog who got well along with my little dog Gatsby. They made friends quickly and they enjoyed our walks together. We had a great time, thanks again! 😊🌞
Kelly and John’s house was incredible for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything you need all in a great location. And the bonus was, Finch. One of the most loving cuddly dogs we have ever come across. Would love to come back in this great setting.
