Arabella took great care of Bear and Charlotte while I was away. She came over the night before for a meet and greet, and asked great questions, so I felt confident they and my home would be well cared for. She even made sure to ask if there were any things I didn’t want her to use, or that needed special care. She is definitely respectful and reliable and I would gladly have her back again!
We had the best time at Louise and Karl’s little farm! From the hilarious giggling ducks to the cuddly yet cheeky pigs, all of the animals have personalities that were fabulous to get to know. Louise and Karl were so welcoming and we enjoyed sitting by the fire and having great conversation with them. The house is stunning & cosy and we were able to completely unwind which we can’t often do due to our busy lifestyles! We would come back again in a heartbeat.
Thank you Debbie for the opportunity to stay in your lovely house while on my travels. Bradford on Avon is a beautiful place. So many amazing walks and lots to see and do! Tilly and the cat were great company and easy care and grateful to have me there.
Stacy is super organised. She will leave all the information you can need. Not that you need much. Charlie is super easy to look after. Just remember he is the boss. He loves cuddles and will literally hug you he will tell you when you wants to go out and when it's dinner time! The house is located in a safe walking area but it's also easy to get into town. I'd love to come back. Great cat, great location, great owner, great sit
This is the kind of House/Pet Sit that made THS so successful! Fraser and Susan are kind, fun, and easy to get-a-long with pet owners. Their home is beautiful, clean, and warm. They made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the house, Wilmslow, and our time with Jesse. We highly recommend this sit. The location is stellar! Jesse is so awesome that she needs her own paragraph. 🥰 She is a lovely dog with a sweet personality. If you like café hopping, strolling around town, and cuddles, then this Sit is for you. Jesse is a great companion. We really enjoyed our time with her. She is so easygoing that you will want to take her everywhere you go. Because her behaviour is excellent!🏆 Thank you, F&S, A&M
We spent 11 nights in Janna and Tim's most comfortable and quiet house in Ludlow looking after Alfie and Indie. From the beginning communication with Janna was excellent. Janna showed us round the house on a virtual tour beforehand so that we knew what to expect. Her Welcome Guide and booklet were very useful, as were the pictures showing us how to operate various electrical appliances. We also used the brochures of the local area she had left for us. During our stay we had a problem with the wifi which Janna and Tim helped us to resolve quickly even though they were overseas. Alfie and Indie were wonderful cats, a pleasure to look after. Alfie was one of a kind. During the day he slept upstairs and loved it if you went and rubbed his belly. Indie was very sweet and gave us a gentle reminder when it came to her mealtimes! They were both very good natured and clean cats. Ludlow is an attractive town and well worth a visit. The house was within walking distance of the town, supermarket and railway station, but there was a bus that went that way every hour. As the weather was good for us we were able enjoy walking in and around Ludlow and travel to Shrewsbury and Hereford, which were not too far away. I would highly recommend this housesit.
The setting is superb and the animals a joy! Anne and Terry are warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home from the word go. Being “townies”, it took us a day or two to understand that the chickens will go into their runs when they are good and ready, and that it is pointless trying to “herd” them in before that. The geese were extremely polite and there was only minimal hissing. Minty and Mouse are a delightful pair - Minty reserved and sweet; Mouse a wriggling, squirming, tail-wagging bundle of unsuppressed joy! They make a great pair and were so easy to care for. They are obedient and just want to be loved. The area is breathtakingly beautiful and you can walk until the cows come home, or the sheep stop bleating (which they don’t). We would unreservedly, highly recommend this sit!
