We thoroughly enjoyed caring for and spending time with Miro and Luna. We miss them! Michael and Maria have a lovely home in a great location close to downtown Seattle and Lake Washington. They were easy to work with and left detailed instructions on caring for the cats & the house and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. It was a cat lover's dream sit and we definitely recommend it.
Ryan was awesome! He walked us through everything we needed to know and was super accessible during our stay. Toby, Rupert, and Kitty were amazing and we miss them already. They were a delight to look after. We would come back in heartbeat.
A thoroughly wonderful house and pet sit! We so enjoyed our conversations with Kim, Ian and their girls...interesting, kind, warm people. Their home is quite comfortable and in a friendly, safe, and pretty neighborhood (so many front yard gardens with lots of beautiful flowers to enjoy). Lots of neighborly waves and “hellos” when we walked Iris. And oh my, we already miss sweet Iris! She is a cute adorable pup full of personality and love. She is well behaved, loves to play fetch followed by quiet time and snuggles. Although the neighborhood has lots of restaurants, shops and coffee shops to explore, we only went out a couple of times without Iris because we so enjoyed spending time with her in the back yard. Zeke and Simona stayed upstairs during our sit as they are getting used to having a canine sibling :-). We spent time with them upstairs every day playing with a string toy, giving scratches, and brushing Simona which she loves. Zeke is more shy than Simona but both are easy to care for and enjoy having attention. This pet sit went so quickly; we were sad to say goodbye but hope to return again for a future sit!
I was lucky enough to sit not only Tama and Johah but also 3 small kittens that Jill had rescued from a kill shelter. It was such a sweet soft landing from 4 months of traveling. The location is fantastic and the house is beautiful. Jill was extemely kind and thorough. Her and her husband are wondeful people.
This was our very first house sit and we enjoyed every minute of looking after Truffle and Bounty who are an absolute joy. Truffle was like my shadow and now we’re back home, I really miss her following me around. And bouncy Bounty is just a crazy cuddly bundle of fun. Pollyanna made us very welcome and ensured that we knew where everything was before she left. There was even a home made loaf and a bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival. It’s a proper country home with amazing gardens and the views across the fields from our bedroom window were stunning, with sheep and cows in the fields opposite and horses in the stables next door. There are some great pubs locally as recommended by Pollyanna, and Market Harborough is a lovely town and well worth a visit. We would certainly recommend this house sit although we’d prefer to keep it all to ourselves!
This was a very pleasant sit and fell in love with the pets for the short time I did the sit- adorable loving dogs and 3 cute cats. Enjoyed relaxing with the animals and even though we had an adventure with the power going out due to thunderstorms, still was able to take care of the pets and stay in contact with the owners and they were great with communication. A beautiful country setting and rustic home, a little aways away but close enough to a cute town and restaurants, which makes for a nice quiet country getaway while spending time with the pets. Friendly neighbors available for any emergencies as well, which was reassuring when the power went out. Would sit again if I am back in the area!
