Being a first time user on Housesitter website we would consider ourselves very lucky to have found these this lovely couple to take care of our fur baby. Maite and Nicholas were absolutely fabulous from the first point of contact with a meet and greet untill the final handover on our arrival. They are a Friendly, reliable, trustworthy and responsible couple. They were very thorough of all the questions they asked and carefully read our sitter guide at the first meeting which made us feel so comfortable leaving both our home and dog in their care. Maite and Nicholas proactively kept us updated with lovely pics and videos throughout our holiday which put us completely at ease and not left wondering if everything was ok back home. Our house was cared for like their own and maintained super clean throughout and found as is upon return. laundry of linen was done and neatly stacked, plants watered and all tasks done. They left us a lovely present as well. Most importantly they made our dog feel so loved and cared. He was super pampered, taken on regular walks, lots of hugs everyday. His routine was followed as per the sitter’s guide instructions. Our dog misses them for sure. A big Thanks to Maite and Nicholas. They are a dream for anyone considering house sitting. We would love to have them sit our home and pet again without second thoughts. Highly recommended !

Laura
It was very nice to stay at this place. Laura and Tyler are very nice, they have got an amazing house, which is very close to Google HQ and Shoreline Amphitheatre. I liked kitties a lot, 2 of them were shy at first, but once we've got a little bit more acquainted it was nice to spend some time together :) it was pretty easy to take care of them also. Thank you!

This was such a calming and peaceful sit. The goats are so playful and Blue is the best companion on walks or sting outside reading. The chickens hanging out around you while enjoying the outdoors are fun to talk to 😀

The house is very clean and Sherry is an amazing communicator!

I would recommend this sit for anyone and would sit here myself again.

Meredith
Wonderful house sit with the cutest pups in a beautiful home at Byron Bay. Millie was a bundle of fun from the first minute of meeting her. Charlie was nervous of us until we’d fed him, he then melted our hearts. The dogs are easy to look after and love cuddles, they do struggle with other dogs but are easily distracted. Meredith’s house is quiet and very well appointed, the bed was so comfortable with lovely linen. If you get the chance to look after Charlie and Millie you won’t regret it. Thank you Meredith for trusting us.

Scott & Rebecca
Scott and Rebecca’s house is a great place to stay and enjoy the company of their delightful Tallulah. She was always ready for a cuddle and welcomed us to her domain as much as her parents. She really is so good at taking her pill each morning with her food and enjoys the odd treat when you are there with her.
Everything we needed was there for us to enjoy including walks from the doorstep. The road is very quiet and Tallulah doesn’t go out much but enjoys curling up in the sunny conservatory.
Acle has everything including a railway station and a pub on the broads.
Thank you so much, Scott and Rebecca, we really enjoyed taking care of your home and Tallulah.

Anne
I had two wonderful weeks with Maxi in Anne's cozy house.
Everything I could have wished for was perfect.
Anne took a whole day to show me around the house and Princes Risborough. The cat was very funny, playful and cuddly, the town of Princes Risborough was well worth a visit with lots of beautiful spots, walking trails and good bus and train connections.
I particularly enjoyed the small garden and the bike rides in the surrounding area on Anne's bike.
I think I have made a new friend.
Thank you Anne for your trust and the two great vacation weeks!

Beasey is a sweetheart. You’ll fall for her quickly. Days begin with hitting tennis balls in the field, as she joyfully chases after them. Despite her age, she’s got legs in her – but she also gets plenty of well-deserved rest! At night, or whenever you sit down on the couch, she’ll come over to join you. It’s a bit high, but with a little effort, she pulls herself up and curls down on the blanket.

What a wonderful dog, in a beautiful house. Thanks, Nigel, for being so welcoming and accommodating. This was the perfect countryside sit. Would be a pleasure to return some day.
