Just had a fantastic 3 week house sit (4 - 23 September) looking after Fiona and Jon's beloved house (and garden) mates! Barney and Binky are both very sociable and easy to care for, Barney will keep your feet warm as he loves sitting at your feet and follows you everywhere. Binky prefers to sit on your knee! In the garden Comfrey, Henry and Enzo are fascinating, I learnt so much about tortoises and how social they are!! Fiona and Jon are very generous host and a sitter will have everything they need (and more) to feel at home for their stay. Fiona and Jon provide very clear instructions with regard to feeding routines and walks (the dogs not the tortoises!) Their home is lovely and very comfortable. I was lucky to have some wonderful weather and the garden is a sun trap which allowed me to relax and read lots and reflect! A thoroughly enjoyable sit and I hope I get an opportunity to repeat the experience!
Paula was great a communicator, and such a warm host. We had a great time looking after Dhillon and Pippen. It went so smoothly and had the enjoyment of fluffy snuggles from the cats!
Wow 🤩 Where do I start… I spoke to Lori a few times over the phone and then met Mike a few days prior to the sit. He showed me around their house and how everything works and I even got to meet the cats. Their house is clean, spacious and just perfection in every way possible. The cats, Coco and Lola are amazing. So easy to care for and they warmed up to us pretty quickly. We all loved snuggles with them and playing with them and when they had enough they would just walk off and then return again later for some more loving. They are also the most beautiful cats I have ever seen, with the most divine fur and colouring. Lori and Mike were wonderful generous hosts. We would never hesitate to return. Pat was an absolute delight to sit for. She was gracious with offering her accommodations and her beautiful fur-baby, Ralphie. Pat introduced me to several supports within the community to assist in times of need. She arranged access to the Community Clubhouse to partake in activities and use of facilities for the 3 month stay, signing me into the Community website to keep up-to-date with new activities and news. Pat's communication was exceptional, despite the 12-hour time difference. It was a perfect stay, full of choice, comfort, loving contact, and cuddles. I would be most pleased to return! Thank you, Pat, for the grace, ease, and generosity you exercised throughout my stay, the time leading up to the stay, and the time after.
I had an amazing stay in Sara's home looking after her beautiful kittens Collin and Doris. They were both adorable and playful. Isleworth is a great area if you enjoy leisurely walks and green spaces and Sara even recommended kayaking which I really. If you are an outdoor lover and love kittens this sit is amazing.
We had a great time sitting for Vivianna and Bryan. It was a last minute sit, so we did not get to meet them in person, but communication was great before and throughout the sit. Their is located in the Silver Summit part of Park City, in a very nice neighborhood and walking distance to great trails. Buttercup and Apple are great!! We enjoyed our daily trail hikes with Buttercup. She LOVES off-leash hikes and is so well-behaved and listens very well. Apple loves people and loves to cuddle. We had a great week and highly recommend sitting for Vivanna and Bryan, if you have the chance.
