Jenny and Max made us very welcome on arrival and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. House was very comfortable and clean. Lucy was very affectionate and easy to look after. We enjoyed walks with her and also enjoyed the scenery around Callander. We would be very happy to look after Lucy at any time in the future. Liz and Ronnie.
I had a great experience! Leo (the cat) was a true character and sang to me often in the evenings. Such a fun experience and lovely couple.
10/10 the best pet-sitting experience I have had to date! Lovely quiet home, sweet dogs and great communication with the homeowners. I would housesit for Craig & Cindy again in a heartbeat!
We had a lovely time with the very cuddly Titch, an adorable, low maintenance cat. From the outset, communication with Wendy was excellent, she helped to find lots of activities in the area to explore. We arrived the night before and had a lovely meal at a local pub. The briefing on the house was comprehensive, backed up with the THS welcome pack. The smart devices could be a little daunting but Wendy and Mark were just on the end of a WhatsApp message to steer us right! It's a beautiful home in a wonderful area - with 2 National Trust properties, one of which is walking distance from the house. The garden with a comfortable garden room to enjoy it, were superb it was just unfortunate that it rained almost every day so we couldn't enjoy it to the full. In all, a very enjoyable sit that we would apply for again if our dates co-incide. Thank you Wendy, Mark and Titch.
I had a really nice weekend sit at Veronika‘s place. It is cosy and close to Potsdamer Platz and other locations. Communication with Veronika was easy and she was really flexible regarding my arrival time, wich I appreciate a lot. Asya is a very social and vocal cat reminding me when it was time for snuggles or breakfast. Taking care of her was easy due to the automatic feeder and her not needing any medication or other extras.
Overall, our pet sit for Nancy was a good experience. Communication with her was easy before and during the sit. She asked that we arrive the night before the sit since she was leaving early the next morning for her trip. She was warm and welcoming. She gave us a tour of her place and explained dog duties. Champs is an energetic and ready to go anytime kind of dog who is used to being walked off leash at a place Nancy showed us (a private airfield with woods) about a 10-12 minute drive from the house. He loves to run fast and far but consistently returned when we called him. We purchased a retractable leash so we could walk him other places and he even climbed Mont Tremblant with us. Tobby is an elderly dog but enjoyed walks with us at the airfield and around the block. He did lots of sleeping! Both dogs were well-behaved and quiet (didn’t hear them bark much). Their feeding routine was easy. Nancy’s house was tidy and comfortable. She gave us her bedroom since it has a comfortable king bed and could also accommodate Champs (his fave sleeping spot). The bedroom does not have a door and opens to the main living area but this did not bother us much. It was very hot the days we stayed but the window air conditioner in Nancy’s bedroom was helpful. I was able to work remotely for three of five days I was on this sit. Nancy's desk space is the family room. It was comfortable and the internet fine for video meetings.
