The pets, a Whippet Mouse & Border Terrier Button, are two sweethearts and such a delight to sit. My 10 yr old son TJ & I loved every minute we spent playing with and taking care of these two sweet girls. Both dogs are so well behaved, friendly, sweet and a pleasure to be around. Mouse & Button are pure love and such joys. They have great recall and one can be comfortable walking them off the lead on public footpaths. TJ and I had endless fun playing fetch in the yard with these two who love to snuggle and cuddle. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with a warm and cozy feel. Our annex was beautiful and clean. Everything was so nice, tidy and clean. My son and I absolutely loved it here. The garden/yard is big with grass like a soft carpet, pretty view and beautiful flowers. The house is located in a very nice neighbourhood, which is safe and peaceful. The local Co op store is very close, about 10min walk away. The owners Romaine & Charlie are a great couple and wonderful hosts. They are helpful, generous and kind people. It was their first time having a THS, but they were total pros. They made TJ and me feel so comfortable and welcome like we knew each other for a while. We had enjoyable conversations. Their communication prior, during and after the sit was fantastic. They left clear instructions and provided several walking maps. Thank you both for being so helpful and wonderful to us. We would sit for you anytime. This is one of those beautiful and easy sits with two super sweet dogs. I'd recommend this sit to everyone. You'll love it.
Karla and Michael’s executive home is a wonderful place, with beautiful amenities and a “to die for” location up in the hills with a gorgeous view of the bay. Their two cats were so easy to care for and were very loving. Tazi, the older cat, loved to snuggle, especially under the covers at night. Karla and Michael were easy to relate to and communicate with. Karla’s instructions to us, including a binder outlining things to do in the area, were clear and unambiguous. We loved every minute of our stay and emphatically state that anyone considering a stay at their house would not be disappointed with their decision.
Our hosts were wonderful. The home is beautiful and in a wonderful neighborhood. The dogs, however, were the best part. They are so sweet and incredibly well trained. I hope we get to visit with them again. Thank you all!
Had a lovely time looking after Rebecca's two adorable dogs and Leo, the cat. Both dogs are real characters and very affectionate - and actually I was tempted to steal them and bring them home with me! As long as you like being smothered by a dog every time you sit down you will be OK! The house is beautiful and has every comfort. Highly recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of house-sitting for Vas and taking care of his delightful cat, Nova. It was an absolutely wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to any future house-sitters. Vas's apartment is modern, clean, and very comfortable. It is situated in a lovely neighbourhood with easy access to local shops, cafes, and public transportation. The apartment itself is well-furnished, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. Nova was an absolute joy to look after. She took a day or two to warm to me but then became a wonderful, friendly, affectionate cat with a charming personality. Nova loves to play and enjoys being around people, making her a wonderful companion. Taking care of her was straightforward, as Vas provided clear instructions and all the necessary supplies. Nova quickly became my little buddy, and I truly enjoyed her company. Thank you, Vas, for entrusting me with your home and Nova. It was a pleasure, and I hope to have the opportunity to house-sit for you again in the future!
We had a very enjoyable experience sitting with Naz and Bella in Baltic, CT. The evening spent with Angela and Chris, prior to them leaving for the long weekend, was equally as memorable. Their two dogs were extremely well behaved, and loved being outdoors, for long hikes and/or just some additional playtime with them. Angela was very communicative and always responsive whenever we had questions. Their historic homestead in the woods was cozy and perfect for our short visit to CT. We would love to spend more time with Bella and Naz, if the situation presents itself in the future.
