Donna and Chris are wonderful hosts with a beautiful home in an amazing location. They made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable and were very easy to communicate with. Izzy is such a sweet and easy dog to care for. Izzy loves going on walks to the corner park and outings to the nearby beach and hiking trails. You can tell it makes her happy once she’s free to run around and explore. If you have an opportunity to sit for Donna and Chris take it. I would definitely sit for them again if the dates lined up.
I had a great time sitting for Tim and Penny. They are lovely people and very kindly showed me the ins and outs of their home so I was well prepared while they were away. As they were on a business trip, I had almost complete autonomy while they were away with my few responsibilities being caring for their dog Simba. This was great as it allowed me the time to continue with my study, go out with friends and fill my days as usual with minimal adjustment. I would absolutely sit again and would recommend to anyone considering.

Biscuit is a charming old granny cat, who can hop up the stairs like a kitten. She knows what she wants and is quite good at communicating it. She took a few days to really warm up to me, then she wanted cuddles and pets often. It was fun to come to understand which meows meant what. Her meows did wake me up some nights and early mornings. Susan and her partner generously picked me up from the airport, took me grocery shopping, and then out to delicious sushi dinner. I enjoyed getting to connect before they left on their trip. Their home is very modern, yet cozy, with great natural light and leafy views throughout. The bus stop is a short walk away and takes you downtown, though doesn’t run very late. The neighborhood is beautiful and great for a stroll.
Everything about this pet/house sit was fantastic! Chris and Jane were super friendly, generous, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. My friend Janyce joined me and we had a heavenly and peaceful four days away relaxing, reading, walking and playing with the dogs and enjoying some wine and conversation by the lake. Sammy and Kasha are so adorably sweet. Their endearing, lovable and sometimes comically mischievous little personalities kept us smiling. If you didn’t put your slippers or shoes away instantly….they were in one of their mouths and the fun game of chase was on….Lolol. They really enjoyed their walks and also chilling out with us on the deck. Although we had quite a lot of rain, they were happy to curl up in their beds or under our feet…..they sure love to be loved and I will miss them both. Chris and Jane’s home is newly built, beautiful and spotless, with a gorgeous view of the lake. The only sounds you will hear are all the different varieties of birds that come to the numerous feeders. We are very thankful to have been chosen to spend time with these two precious labs and hope to be invited back again. Highly recommended! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Marty was a happy and relaxed little dog and such a joy to look after. He was very low-maintenance and LOVED playing with his squeaky ball. Eli and Reka's home was very conveniently located, comfortable, and lovely. Thank you for opening your home to us and sharing Marty with us for a few days!
