Kara was a wonderful pet and housesitter. Although this sit was only a mini one, we met beforehand and on arrival. Both times she was super punctual and asked a lot of relevant questions which was good. I know Sasha and Nala were well cared for while we were away. The house was as we left it, and she even washed the sheets - amazing! I would certainly use Kara again and recommend her to others.
Katie is one of the best sitters we've ever had! She was kind enough to come meet us and the dogs a week before the sit, which was good all around. She was able to connect with the dogs and see what our place is like, and we were able to take a beach walk with her and get to know her. Katie is a good communicator and makes good common sense decisions when needed. She was patient and and helpful when an unexpected construction project began during her stay. This required her to spend a fair amount of time at our second home in town in order to keep the dogs safe and relaxed. This was above and beyond. Katie gave our dogs tons of love and affection, and gave them showers (twice at least) when they decided to roll in stinky dead marine animals on the Carmel Beach. We arrived home to happy dogs and a clean house. We have already booked Katie for another sit. Highly recommend!
Christina and Cory sat for us in July, and then again in September. Our pets may like them better than they like us! Seriously, Christina and Cory were just wonderful in all regards. They took care of the house, dealt with a repair surprise the landlords created, cared for the plants and most importantly our 2 dogs and cats...all the while keeping us informed. They are a wonderful, mature, tidy young couple. Hopefully they'll be available to stay with our pets again.
