This is the second or third time we've been lucky enough to have Freya come stay - that should tell you something! She and our dog have their own special relationship and they genuinely love one another. With Freya, we always get updates on how the critters are doing, she asks questions if anything is unclear, and we come home to a house as clean as we left it, with animals well regulated and at ease. Always a winning match for us!
Elke and Robert are generous, friendly & easy going people who want you to feel at home in their place. I appreciated that they made time for me to arrive a day early to get to know the routine with their flat and how to administer Pino’s medication by injection (it really is very straight forward). Their home is well appointed and a light airy comfortable space with the most amazing 180° view over the surrounding countryside. Pino and Schnatti are easy care - and like many cats want to be cuddled, stroked and sit beside you whatever you are up to. The Vitra Campus and Beyeler Foundation Gallery are both within easy walking distance if you are into art. The surrounding countryside also has lots to offer for walks around the vineyards or along the riverside. Shops for food or daily necessities are within easy walking distance too. I loved my stay here and would welcome the opportunity to return any time.
Amazing views and countryside , lovely animals and great week overall ! A good way to have a break from city life. I didnt want to come back . Also good exercise
House sitting for Christina was a dream! Rose is the sweetest creature - she was warm, friendly, cuddly and great with other dogs and people. She loves walks around the neighborhood, and dog parks. Christina provided the clear instructions we needed to take good care of things. She was welcoming, and a pleasure to communicate with and meet. Christina's home is in a walkable neighborhood near restaurants, Lake Washington and the arboretum. The house is clean, cozy and beautiful. We'd love to house sit again anytime!
We really had a wonderful time in Kippen with Corey! He is such a sweet and easygoing dog and was a delight to look after. He will show you his plushies when he meets you which is very cute. Sara is a wonderful host! She made us a delicious dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was beautiful and spotless clean when we arrived and Kippen offers a gorgeous scenery. It is a great place to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs together with Corey. He was very happy to go on little hikes with us. Thank you for everything Sara, we really enjoyed our time with Corey!
We had a lovely stay at Sophie and Ian's wonderful house in Backwell. Pip and Willow are lovely affectionate dogs and a joy to go for walks with and relax at home. Bambi kept himself to himself but loved some strokes and attention. Backwell is brilliantly located both by the countryside but also for great links into Bristol and around, either by car or public transport. Sophie was great at communicating before, during and after the sit and made it a simple sit and one which I would recommend to all.
We had a lovely stay with Myles the little chihuahua in Walthamstow! Tina & Brian were both very welcoming and gave us a thorough handover and walkthrough of the house. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great and well-connected, right by the lovely Lloyd’s Park which was perfect for walking Myles. As mentioned on Tina’s profile, Myles but can be a little nervous and reactive to start off with, particularly with males. Whilst he instantly warmed to me, it took a few days for Myles to feel comfortable being picked up or taken on walks by my male partner. Tina & Brian were very upfront about Myles’ temperament so it didn’t come as a surprise & we felt comfortable managing it. Myles is a little sweetheart & incredibly affectionate. We had a great time taking him to the park and having cuddles on the couch. We will miss him!
