Jim and Colleen are very kind, gracious people. They welcomed me warmly, and made me feel comfortable and valued. They provided detailed instructions on how to care for their dogs and home, which I appreciated. Their home is beautiful, and comfortable. It is set in a secure, pretty country club. I enjoyed the dogs immensely. Annie is a senior dog, with a gentle, affectionate nature. She was a pleasure, and I felt very protective of her. Ollie is an 11-month-old puppy. He is full of vim and vigor and fun. He made me laugh, and kept me on my toes. He was always up to shenanigans and antics. So adorable. He stole my heart. I walked the dogs separately, as they had different needs. Annie and I would take shorter, slow, lumbering walks, stopping frequently so she could sniff bushes and other plants. Ollie and I took long, very brisk walks. He was go, go, go, and really enjoyed, (and needed), to expend energy. Both dogs slept in my room with me, and I found it very comforting. Annie slept on a dog bed on the floor, and Ollie, for the most part, slept on the bed with me. Both dogs followed me everywhere I walked. I loved it! I recommend Jim, Colleen, Annie, and Ollie highly, and would happily sit for them again. ♥️
My stay at Sarah and Aaron's house was wonderful, Tiggy and Sal are adorable, each with their own personalities and I have never seen such a great connection and friendship between cats and dogs. Tiggy and Sal are both playful, kind, and affectionate. The house is lovely and comfortable with plenty of spaces to work from home. The home is centrally located with access to everything, at least 4 coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants all within walking distance. I had a wonderful time and I would be happy to come back anytime!
What a fantastic 2 and a bit weeks!! Rachael and Dan were amazing from the get go. Rachael emailed us a guide that explained everything down to the T. Any questions I had were answered without hesitation. Once we arrived, they welcomed us in with open arms and made sure we were fully equipped before they set off on their family holiday. You haven’t enjoyed a dog sit until you’ve looked after Tucker and Sookie. They are both wonderfully calm and affectionate but equally as excitable when the leads come out. Tucker is a tall ball of fluff with a loving nature who enjoys human company. He is a licker, so beware of the Tucker Kisses haha. Sookie is the queen bee who loves attention and having a play when she is up for it, otherwise she is very content having a nap on her favourite bed with her favourite blanket. If she manages to convince you to let her sit on the couch with you, be aware your personal space will be no more haha. Walking them was a dream. They both love to have a sniff here and there but always come when called. Tucker loves to say hello to other dogs but it never lasts too long, because he soon realises you have carried on with the walk and trots back over. Thank you to Rachael and Dan for allowing us the pleasure of looking after their home and loving dogs. We could have happily stayed for another 2 weeks!!
Had a great time house sitting with Kevin! He is the sweetest pup, who quickly warms up and was super excited to see us every time we came back to the house. The neighborhood is really great to take walks in and the location is within 10 minutes to anything you’d want to do in SB/Goleta. Would stay with Kevin again!
Had an excellent time in the Okanagan for almost 3 weeks. Petty and Q were very well behaved and easy to care for, and fun to be around. The home owners were very kind and made a great dinner for us when we arrived. They were helpful and responsive in answering questions during our stay. Tall windows stretching across the length of the living room provided an excellent view looking out over the town. Only 20 minutes away from downtown Kelowna, and close to Vernon as well. It was nice to stay further away from the downtown area, much less busy and more relaxing.
Georgia’s adorable cats, Molly and Eddie, kept us entertained for our all too few days at their beautiful Gold Coast apartment. Georgia left clear instructions for her immaculate home and cats. Molly and Eddie are easy to care for and are sweet and playful. In a brilliant location close to the beach and with stunning views, it was great to be able to park the car and walk, or use the nearby very convenient public transport. A great value Go Explore card can be bought at the newsagent / chemist opposite the tram stop closest to the apartment. Georgia’s high number of repeat sitters says it all. We would love to sit for Molly and Eddie again if we are in the area.
