Jerry and I were delighted with this sit. Andi and Lex are very welcoming and generous hosts who have a beautiful home in an ideal location. We were offered to use anything in the house that we needed. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we stayed close to home to relax outdoors. We had use of the guest bedroom and bath - the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our clothes. Their home is beautifully furnished and very clean. It looks exactly like the photos. Miss Prudence was just a joy to be with. I have never seen such a lively elderly dog. She really acts half her age. Because she is hard of hearing, we approached her slowly so as not to startle her. When you put your hand in front of her face to let her sniff or pet her, she will give a gentle snap - she is not trying to bite - she thinks you are giving her a treat! She is very gentle and once we figured this out we had absolutely no concerns. She took us for very short walks several times a day and otherwise she mostly slept the time away. She has one other funny trait - at night she paces in the living room. It looked like she was doing laps - I think all this activity keeps her flexible and spry! Fitz is a beautiful ex-show champion who is happy to sit next to you and gives sweet kisses. He also enjoyed his short walks - especially to visit his favorite neighbors who give him treats. He is smart and very enjoyable to be with. Both dogs eat well and adapted to their family being gone very quickly. Fitz also has a funny trait - he like to go outside and eat dried up worms! We were able to foil most of his attempts! Silly Fitz! If you have the chance to sit for Andi and Lex, you will be most fortunate. I hope you don't get a chance though, because I want to have them invite us back!
Julie and Rob were lovely people to house sit for. Their home is super clean, organised and has everything you will need for your stay. Cooper is a beautiful dog who is lots of fun. He loves his routine morning and afternoon walks. Cooper does not use the back yard for the toilet at all so there's nothing to clean up there. His very sweet and loves to bring you a toy or his bed when you come home. We will miss him dearly ❤️ Thank you Julie and Rob for having us ❤️
I had such an amazing experience sitting at Anna’s for her dog, JJ, and cat, Bunz. Her home was so cozy and welcoming and in a really wonderful location with plenty of great food and activities. Her neighbors and friends were all so kind and willing to help whenever I needed it, as well. And of course I absolutely fell in love with JJ and Bunz. JJ is the sweetest, snuggliest boy! I miss him so much already. It took Bunz a little bit to warm up, but once she did she was just as loving. I look forward to my next trip to Seattle and hope to have an opportunity to hang out with Bunz and JJ in the future! :)
What an excellent experience with Hannah, Corto and the home. There was excellent communication before and during the housesit. Hannah provided us with everything we would need in order to have a successful sit, and a map of the nearby parks/pubs. Corto was a really well-behaved dog It's obvious Hannah works consistently with him on his commands. He settles well in the home, and will let you know when he is ready to go play catch. He is very affectionate and loves lots of attention. We have done a lot of housesits over the years and this was easily our best experience yet.
I had a great stay at Marlo’s place. Her flat is cosy, comfortable and I felt welcomed, and her place is super clean. Marlo is easy-going, and I had a great communication with her. Daisy and Doha are easy going and independent and I had great time with them. Thank you for everything.
David and I had an absolutely wonderful experience taking care of Stephanie and Holly’s home and pets. We were given very clear instructions on how to take care of the animals, and the welcome guide was very descriptive. Any questions we had throughout our stay were readily answered. The rabbits were delightful and easy to manage with clear instructions from Stephanie regarding dietary requirements. Their Cockapoo, Peggy, was a highly affectionate, well behaved, absolute delight to look after. She accompanied us on our adventures around London, and was very tolerant of the tube and sitting in restaurants, and interacted really well with other animals throughout the day. Binx was also a lovely house cat, was low maintenance, and enjoyed spending time with us and Peggy in the evenings. Stephanie and Holly’s house was clean, cosy and a very lovely place to stay and everything we required for a comfortable stay was provided - some staple provisions had been bought for us, this was a very appreciated extra touch! The house is perfectly located near public transport, parks , cafes and grocery stores. Overall, we cannot recommend this pet sit enough, we would jump at the opportunity to return :) thank you Holly and Stephanie!
