We had a wonderful time in Arvada. Susan, our host, was a very warm and fun person. When we arrived and she briefed us on her home, we all went to a concert in the park with her friends. It was a fantastic concert, and the evening was very enjoyable. Her cats, Curry, Ash and Willa, are very easy going and all have very distinctive personalities. When you come to her house, you will see. They are easy cats to pet sit and they all get along. Great communications before, during and after the sit. Her home is easy to maintain, and what a nice surprise to learn that the cleaning lady would be coming while we were there. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on her patio. We spent a lot of time out there and used her grill almost every night. She also has a vegetable garden with great zucchini. The tomatoes were just coming in when she returned. Susan's home is in an ideal location. We walked just about everywhere. It is near a park and walking paths. We also walked into town regularly. It is a picturesque town. There are many places to eat with outside patios, boutiques, ice cream parlors etc. In the center of town there are pedestrian only streets and on Sundays they have a wonderful farmer's market. We enjoyed everything about Arvada and would check the internet to see what was going on there.
