We feel grateful to Valerie for choosing us as the first people to house-sit for her. Valerie is an honest, open, kind, and communicative person - she provided a detailed house guide, and always responded to our questions promptly, and together we were able to solve even very unexpected problems. (door lock deciding it won't work anymore) From the initial call, we knew that she loves her cat (Rano) dearly and tries every day to make his life the best she can - Rano has many toys, tunnels, strings, and a safe place outside where he can soak up the sunshine - everything a cat could dream of. Rano loves his routines - it was great to see a cat so excited every day. When he gets to know you a bit better, you will see that he is full of love with a deep appreciation for cuddling (he will let you know where he likes it best). We spent many hours playing with him, it was a blast! Oh, and he is very hygienic, he has mastered the art of litter box maintenance to perfection. He is not in any way forcing or annoying though, he will let you sleep if you need to, if you want he might even join you for a quick nap during the day! The apartment is exactly as described, spacious, in a great location (you can walk anywhere in 10-15 minutes - city center, beach, massage, nice restaurant, hiking trail...), and with every appliance you might wish for. We also appreciated the very easy free parking near the house. Valerie cleaned everything so that when we arrived the apartment was tidy and ready for us, like in a hotel! Even though Valerie does not have many reviews on this site (it is only a matter of time before the 5* reviews start rolling in), we can recommend everyone who will have the opportunity to catsit for her, to do so - she is a great host and person. (and cook!)

I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of Sawyer and Susan's home! Sawyer is very independent, spending most of his time outside, but would hang out with me on the back step and loved to be petted. Susan was a very accommodating host and very flexible with regards to my arrival and departure times. She provided great instructions and was very communicative during the sit. Her home has a very nice family oriented vibe and was very homey - a great vibe to have while working remotely or hanging out in the family room watching a show (awesome TV and sound system!) I look forward to returning for a future sit!
Lynne's cats are very very sweet and cuddly. They made us feel very welcome from the minute we were introduced to each other. As the time went on, cuddles for Tibbs and belly rubs for Mimi only increased in frequency :) Lynne's place is very comfortable, decorated with great taste and very spacious. There is also a nice patio with everything you need to have a great bbq. We used it mostly for stargazing. Anarita where Lynne lives is a very quiet little town just 20 minute drive from Pafos and 45 from Limassol, which makes it the perfect location to explore beautiful Cyprus.
Thank you Ann & Steve for giving us the opportunity to stay in your lovely home in a beautiful part of the Cornish countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved looking after Claude, Winnie & Babs - they were all so sweet.
