This is such a beautiful space. I’ve done 17 different pet sitting gigs from this Trusted House Sitters app, and I have to say these are the most well-behaved pets I have ever met in my life. I truly felt like the cats and dogs took care of me more than I took care of them! From the dogs guiding me along the nearby hiking trails, to the cats bringing me gifts! Chris and Mike are wonderful people. I had so much in common with them, and they are so supportive and organized. The house is so cozy and peaceful. I truly loved everything about this experience. The surrounding nature is truly healing, and you can also feel it inside the house, and with all the different little secret spots around the house and garden to enjoy a cup of tea, look at the stars, sunbathe, whatever... Everything about this experience puts this pet sitting gig at the very top of the list of all the sits I have done. If you enjoy chilling to the max with a cozy house, gorgeous land, and absolutely lovely cats and dogs, you will love it here. If my schedule lines up, and I am free when Chris and Mike travel again sometime in the future, I would totally do it again. I’ve done a couple shorter pet sitting gigs since my time in New Mexico at Chris and Mike’s, and it has only reminded me how much I loved the experience at their place with their cats and dogs. A totally flawless, trouble-free, rejuvenating experience.
Mila is super cute! Was easy to take care of her and very fun to be in her company. The flat is lovely, spacious in a great and quiet location: restaurants, bars and art all around. Communication with Anton was easy and I would love to spend time with Mila again. Hug!

We had never been to Copenhagen, and we had the opportunity to do so for two weeks, staying at Celeste and Matias' home looking after their two cute kitties: Iara and Curie. From the very beginning, communication was very easy, and we received a warm welcome. We immediately felt comfortable in the house and the neighborhood, which was perfect for chilling, strolling and well-connected to the city center. No doubt, the highlight of our stay was spending hours with Iara and Curie. Iara is a total sweetheart, always wanting to be near someone. She's adorable and could spend hours by our side providing companionship. Curie preferred to observe us from a distance, but no detail escaped her. She was very sweetie as well. We loved her sofa-sitting styles! We truly had very enjoyable moments with them. Taking care of them was straightforward and we'd be more than happy to look after Curie and Iara again. Atlas is an active, energetic, and oh so loving pup! He loves to play fetch and tug of war and they have a backyard which makes it easy. Tug of war with his inside toys is really the secret to wearing him out though! He will snuggle with you on the couch and loves to sleep with you under the covers. He will ask to go outside and play as much as he can but he was great at being calm and laying down whenever I sat at the computer in the guest room to work, which created a great routine for us. He gets very excited about walks and pulls a bit getting to the sidewalk but calms down quickly and enjoys the sights and smells. He is very easy on a leash and responds well when you want him to move along or avoid something. He was great in my experience with other dogs and loves human affection from any passerby. James and Jenny left me a great list of local restaurants and bars - their apartment is in a great location in Ballard, my favorite Seattle neighborhood. They were easy to get in touch with and good communicators. I would happily stay with Atlas again and recommend it to anyone who can!
