I truly enjoyed my stay in Lago Vista. The parents and children, 2 dogs and 2 cats, were very welcoming to their beautiful home. I highly recommend this sit to anyone who loves sweet pets that like to play and cuddle. Their parents are really cool and fun to be around too!
I can’t thank Ann and Michael enough for opening up their home to me! I had a wonderful time in Denver. During my stay I got to spend time with my family and friends doing the things we love most, going to the theatre and seeing some of Denver’s museums! I was able to take a short trip up to the mountains too! Gorgeous! Ann and Michael were very accommodating. We were able to meet before my sit and Ann gave me a full walkthrough of the house and garden. I They stayed in communication with the daily while traveling and even gave me tips on the best coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Park Hill is a great location and a short trip to downtown (about a 20-25 min bus ride). I was perfectly fine without a car during my stay. I enjoyed my time out on the patio and in the garden. Maxine was the absolute sweetest!! I love longer walks and Maxine was always excited to get out with me! We spent some time at City Park admiring the ponds! Would absolutely come and visit Maxine again! Lots of fresh air in Denver! Drink plenty of water!
Norie & Maria made me feel really welcome and were great communicators throughout the whole experience. The cats are easy to care for and spend most of the day lounging outside. They are definitely shy at first but with time and perseverance I was able to get in a few cuddles, especially with Zazie!
"Tranquil" may be the best way to describe this sit. Teresa's home is soothing and comfortable and the over-50 neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Lucy, the older cat, takes a while to warm up but loves to have her fur brushed. Lottie, the little bunny/kitten, is adorable and loves to have her belly rubbed. We enjoyed our time here and think you will also.
Geraldine is one of the most generous and hospitable people I have ever met. She has a beautiful home and a lovely neighbourhood near many lovely sights. Ziggy is a dreamboat, extremely well trained and well behaved with such an affectionate, loving and sensitive personality. He is so easy to walk and comes back very quickly. He has a lot of friends too, which is a testament to his personality and the relationships Geraldine has formed. Geraldine was always contactable and responded quickly to any questions or queries. Looking after Hastings at Nick and Jackie’s beautiful property was a wonderful experience. They were extremely welcoming and we spent 3 days with them before they went away which was very helpful. Having our own house with amazing views was a real bonus. The house and gardens are lovely with a huge swimming pool to enjoy as well plus the bonus of fresh oranges, lemons, lettuce and eggs was a real bonus. There is lots to visit within a 40 minute and Lanjoran is a delightful little town full of bars and restaurants. Hastings is the most gorgeous, well behaved Labrador who was an absolute pleasure to look after and is so well behaved (never barks, good recall, doesn’t pester for food and is very relaxed about when you take him for a walk). This really was a most memorable sit and we wish that we had been able to stay for longer than two weeks. Thank you both for having us.
