I don’t know when Rebekah left my house but she was gone when I arrived home so I haven’t met her. The cat litter boxes were so full the cats had been forced to use rugs and the floor. The cat bowls were full of food which was consequently scattered and had to be thrown out as saliva all over it can cause disease if it’s left to be eaten up. There were several dead plants and the pots were bone dry. There was mail left in the mail box. The he pool had not been topped up with water so the filter had stopped and was clogged with debris. My pool service man had left a reminder on Tuesday to fill the pool but the level was below the tiles. My notes had obviously not been read. It was very hot in Central Florida this week but none of this should have happened with care. I don’t have 6 cats, I have 2. No dog to walk. I have pool and lawn service. I spent Mother’s Day washing floors and laundering rugs, watering gasping plants and dealing with the pool, all after after a very long day’s journey from South America.

Diana

Diana was an excellent sitter for my cat Mishka for two weeks. Mishka can take time to feel comfortable with new people, but she quickly warmed up to Diana - she was cuddling and purring within days. Diana kept me updated with daily photos and handling the mail. I came home to a very clean apartment and she even bought me a gift bag. Very reliable and highly recommend!

Mary provided excellent care for our two dogs and one cat over a week’s time. We so appreciated her willingness to meet the dogs beforehand and her attention to detail. Mary sent photos during her stay, staying in touch with us throughout the sit. We would gladly book Mary again.

Justine and JR were fantastic pet sitters! Both of them AND Joy took such great care of our pets while we were away. We had the pleasure of eating dinner with them before we left and we had such a great time chatting with them! They were tremendously helpful and caring. Joy is an absolute delight and my boys loved playing with her in the backyard. Nothing short of a 5 star experience and I hope to see them again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mary

We were so pleased having Mary pet sit for us. She came over a few days ahead of time (luckily she was local) and went above and beyond to do a meet and greet with the pets and get familiar with our house. Mary was very communicative and sent us pictures of our pets being loved on so we knew they were well taken care of. Our dog specifically is shy around strangers and can get very stressed when we are away. We’ve had sitters in the past who he refused to eat for or got a stress upset stomach (no fault of the sitters, he is just an anxious rescue dog). With Mary, our dog was so happy and at ease and we can’t thank her enough for taking care of our pets. Knowing they were happy let us enjoy our vacation more :)

Jocelyn Macurdy Keatts & Connor

Jocelyn and Connor were amazing sitters, great communication, arrived early to settle in and meet the dogs and very self sufficient while I was away. They even had to deal with a leaking bath. Dogs have spent the last couple of days missing them and they have clearly been well cared for and looked after. Would highly recommend and would definitely have them back if the opportunity arose.

Mira was a wonderful house and dog sitter. She arrived perfectly on time, kept us updated with pictures of our dog and was very flexible. We could tell our dog really enjoyed his time with her.

Timothy

I enjoyed Timothy’s demeanor and his love of pets is obvious! Lulu (who is usually harder to win over for men) immediately took to him. He did ensure that her walk schedule was adhered, so I appreciate that. He took good care of my home, but I found a sticky substance and remnants of something that was made in my air fryer (unfortunately two days after my return, so it took some scrubbing). I think he just forgot about it as he tried to tidy up on the last day. And I found a pool of water in the tray of my espresso machine that began leaking under it and along the counter. Which may have just been the result of some trial and error using it. None of those things were overly irksome. But they are the reasons for the clean & tidy rating. A good checklist for your end of sit expectations would help if you’re a stickler for things being thoroughly cleaned. Overall, I was quite happy because nothing major was out of whack, so this sit was a good 4/5 for me. And Lulu was HAPPY and healthy when I returned! And that’s always my number one priority.

Katrina & Sabrina

Sabrina and Katrina were extremely professional throughout the entire housesitting process. We were pleased to receive one or two updates daily with photos of our boys at home and on walks, with their new packmate Shadow, who joined the ladies on this housesit. We appreciated that they were flexible with arrival and departure times so that we could leave and arrive home with peace of mind knowing that our dogs had been walked and fed on our travel days. It was an absolute pleasure to have Manal in my home, and for Pan! She was responsive, caring, and accommodating to my request for turning the pet camera on when she's not around home, which I understand can be icky. When I was back from my 2-week long trip, I found my home the way I left it, clean, tidy, and most importantly, with a healthy and happy cat who missed me a lot but well taken care of. I would invite her back anytime, highly recommended!

I absolutely loved this sit taking care of the lovely Mr Bob. He was the most adorable cat and after a couple of hours after I arrived, he decided I was ok and showed me so much love. He would sit with me every night on my lap or in his radiator seat which he loved
Helen is such a lovely lady and we got on so well from the very start. She kindly treated me to an Indian meal in a local restaurant the night before she left for her trip. She showed my round Shaftesbury after we ate and advised me of some places to visit. Helen also cooked me a meal on her return which was lovely too. We had some great chats and I really felt at home
Helen and Mr Bobs home is very warm and cosy plus it's right in the middle of the village so everywhere is walkable

Whitley is a cuddler and so sweet. Lobster is full of energy and when I was with him was in a chewing phase... Anything on the floors or counters could be discovered later in the backyard with puppy teeth marks all over it.

Watching Charlie was a joy, he is a very friendly cat and enjoys attention.  Even though he's a bit older he still has some energy to run around in the morning.  Kay was very welcoming and provided lots of recommendations of nearby parks for hiking.  Also, being able to use her car was a big plus.  The house is well located for a multitude of activities.

Arabella

On our journey homeward from a petsit on the south coast, we were able to do a simple 1 night stay for Arabella, looking after the needs of Cybil, Cora, Percy and Syd.
Both cats kept themselves, and each other, busy indoors and were happy to be let into the rear garden to explore and return. Cora is a lively girl who really enjoys her 'fetch' games in the park. Cybil, a more gentle and reserved lady, was less keen on walks but did come to the other park we visited, after breakfast in the car, where Cora thrived once again. Arabella has a lovely welcoming home and we enjoyed meeting, chatting and spending time in Cheltenham. Thanks once more. Perhaps we'll see you again.
