Cat Sitters in Washington

Irmela & Oliver are excellent, and I am at a loss of superlatives to adequately describe their inherent value. First, our dog was healthier on our return than we left. (A 13-year-old Standard Schnauzer that just turned 14.) Second, our house was immaculate, a level of cleanliness we don't achieve--again, better than what we left. Third, the Vet and entire office praised Iremla and Oliver for their diligence and care. (Ahem, implying better than us!) Fourth, our dog walker met I&O in the village and said our dog looked more active and calmer than she with the previous sitters. Fifth, everyone in the village, from cafe to post office, to the corner store, praised I&O for the friendly, cheerful attitude. (Ahem, implying better than us!) We feel fortunate having met them, having them to watch our dog and house. Irmela and Oliver are the best, no additional superlatives necessary. Our one issue is that the nagging we get from everyone about when we plan to go away so Irmela and Oliver can return.

I can sincerely recommend Anna and Jorges. They looked after Florence the dog and Zibah the cat very well and both were happy and healthy on my return. In addition Anna reassured me of their well being everyday with a photograph. They left the house in an immaculate condition; I would not have known anyone had been living there. They even left me 2 arepas, a Venezuelan treat. Thanks to both of them for the treasure of peace of mind.

Amy was great. The pets were well looked after. I had another sitter coming in after so not sure how the house was, but no complaints from the other sitter so I would suspect she left it fine. I know she made the bed up for them. She was great with both pets straight away.

Mary and Tom are a couple of angels. They took great care of our my very boisterous cockapoo pup. He was so a home with them both, going plenty of walks. I can honestly say he cried after them when they left. I can’t recommend both more highly. Barney and the house were well looked after by them and I hope we now keep in touch as friends. I would definitely be more than happy if they would consider looking after him again.

We were so lucky to have Sophie come and look after our dogs for three weeks in August - she was really amazing!! The dogs loved her, she took really good care of them and they all became the best of friends. We had regular updates and pictures /videos which make all the difference when you're away. She left the house in an immaculate state too! We felt so happy and reassured that she was there with Jake and Domino, it made such a difference to our trip. We'd recommend her 1000 percent!!

We loved these guys. They took the best care of Daria while they were exploring the area. Super friendly, mature, tidy and reliable. They really went to great lengths to accommodate for my dog's needs. They're always welcome in our house.

Asem is a fantastic sitter. Reliable, a great communicator, super clean and tidy and most importantly a clear animal lover. She took wonderful care of our cat Morty. We came home to a spotless house and a very happy cat. We'd love to have her back to sit anytime.

Rebecca and James looked after my fur baby Beth, green babies and apartment for 18 days while I was overseas. They did a great job, were warm and friendly and excellent communicators. My apartment was spotless on my return and Beth looked healthy and well cared for. I highly recommend them as trusted house-sitters

Communication with Alicja before she came was excellent. She came to stay for 2 nights a week before we went away as she needed accommodation, which I was happy to do. Alicja looked after our dog Charlie very well - we got updates when we asked for them. The house was clean & tidy on our return & Charlie had been looked after well. There was a lack of communication around house guests, two friends of Alicja’s came to stay, a neighbour saw them & alerted me. I contacted Alicja & she agreed it would have been a good idea to ask before allowing friends to stay. I would recommend Alicja to others & would advise clarifying re house guests before the stay.

Alice looked after my beloved mini schnauzer for five days while I was on holiday in July 2024. We had a video call meet in advance of the sit and I could tell that Alice would be a reliable and kind sitter. I needed to leave the house very early on the first day of the sit so Alice kindly arranged to stay nearby the night before and was very prompt to arrive. Her communication throughout was great - she had asked me how often I wanted updates and then followed this cadence. She seemed to make a special effort to follow all my guidance to the letter and as a result I think my dog had her every need catered to like the little diva she is. Alice had to leave before I got home but the house was left clean and tidy - I could barely tell she’d been here - and, most importantly, my dog was well and calm. The only small learning for me is that I should have left clearer instructions about watering the garden as it was particularly hot during Alice’s stay and some of the plants were a bit thirsty when I got back. Overall, another positive experience with zeewoi and a big thank you to Alice for being a super sitter!

We've been lucky enough to have many excellent sitters through zeewoi, but Angus and Helen are up there at the top. Our pets were so calm when we got home, it was clear that they'd had a happy time while we were away. Our house was in perfect order and there was a delicious veg curry in the fridge for our supper. Angus and Helen are great communicators, they gave us just the right amount of feedback through our break and we felt that we could absolutely trust them to care for our home and furry friends. If you're lucky enough to have Angus and Helen apply for a house sit with you I'd say grab them quickly!

What can we say.. Jen was just fantastic. For our first experience leaving Rupert, we could not have asked for anyone better. We knew from the day we met Jen that Rupert was being left in safe hands and Jen went above and beyond to help us feel assured. Rupert and Jen clicked straight away and he loved spending a long weekend with his new friend. Jen left our flat spotless. We cannot recommend her more highly; a truly lovely person and animal lover. We (Rupert included) hope to have Jen back again in the future.
