Looking after Socks, Pickle and Nova was an incredibly rewarding experience. Their boundless affection made our everyday special. We'll miss them all. It was a privilege to care for Imogen's and Paul's beautiful house. We also found immense satisfaction in tending to the hens and the wild birds. Thank you for the opportunity to experience such tranquillity and natural beauty. Highly recommend it to anyone.
A lovely short sit for Ronan and Nicki. We had a great time looking, after Milo and Inca, 2 very easy collies, who loved their walks! As other sitters have said Milo initially is timid but he soon came round and Inca was our best friend very quickly. Lovely cosy and warm house, a really nice village, great walks and the family were so friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Many thanks David and Julie
Emma and Nick were excellent hosts, they were super organised and gave us all of the information we needed early so that we could book our trip. They were kind enough to let us stay the night before they left to make sure both Hudson, Ripley and us were all comfortable before they left. They gave us an excellent welcome guide which included all of the information we needed. They have great communication and were always reachable. They also gave us an epic supply of Nespresso pods to keep us caffeinated for the week which was amazing! Ripley and Hudson were such lovely companions for the week. Ripley is a big softie who will take as many cuddles as you have to give and Hudson absolutely loves a game of tug or fetch in the backyard. They both enjoyed their walks twice a day, Ripley loved having a good sniff of everything and Hudson loved to keep his eyes open for other dogs or animals to get his adrenaline rush for the day. They are both strong dogs who can both get excited, but were well behaved with commands. While we were there Ripley got a scratch on her eye which got very inflamed and irritated so we took her down to the vet, she is extremely chill and takes her medication like a champ, absolutely no problems with getting her to let us attend to her with eye drops and creams, she was very happy with the treats and cuddles afterwards. The house is situated around 5kms away from the vet so a car would make this trip a lot easier. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a chill week- an amazing selection on TV, a beautiful garden and a very comfy bed. There are lots of lovely walks to do and lakes to visit; Emma and Nick let us borrow their e bikes to get around which was amazing as the public transport around the area is somewhat infrequent. We had a lovely week and highly recommend Emma and Nick as hosts and would happily sit for them again. Hudson and Ripley are very lovable dogs who you will definitely miss when you leave!
Mark and Heidi are very kind people, they made me feel at home the days they were at the finca. Although it seems like there is a lot to do on the finca, in reality the tasks are quite simple and it is a very beautiful house to have peace and tranquility, the house is 10 minutes by car from the nearest town, I had no problems getting around since they left a car that I can use. And last but not least, my furry friends won a piece of my heart since they are adorable furries, Sarcan, Yummi and Paco made my stay at the finca an incredible experience since they are very charming.
I loved sitting Oslo! He’s adorable & we had a great time. The apartment is amazing and Manju had thought of everything in advance! It was great meeting and walking through Oslo’s routine. I felt totally at ease throughout the sit & exploring Central Park with Oslo. Would LOVE to sit again and highly recommend to all other sitters
This was a lovely house sit and Archie and I had a ball with Minky and Tessa who were. We enjoyed our daily walks along the disused railway line at the foot of the hill which is now the most wonderful wild flower filled cycle and walking path. The farm was cosy and my bed super comfortable Our evenings were spent with the four of us piled in a hairy heap on the sofa with me trying to read a book ( no always succesfully) then going out for a late evening walk around the farm listening to the sounds of the wildlife. We also took several jaunts in the car to Dryburgh Abbey and over to the coast - about 30mins drive away. Caroline is a thoughtful host and we kept in in touch regularly via What'sApp so I could re-assure her we were all having a ball. The scenrey and the area are beautiful. Highly recommended as a house sit.
