There were real emotions rendered as we departed from Jessica and Andy's home in Oakland. In just a weekend, we had become so attached to Pili, Jonni, Wolfie and Z! Especially Pili, who is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever known. Jonni was such a hoot, chasing and catching tennis balls. And the gorgeous cats were friendly and actually warm and accepting! Who knew cats could be like that? :) Jessica and Andy's home is just wonderful and a pleasure to reside in and close to many needs you might have. We really enjoyed connecting with such a nice family, and making furry friends in Oakland! Amazing sit!
Mike and Janet's home is in a beautiful part of BC. We spent lots of time on their spacious deck watching boats of all sizes and seaplanes come and go. We always had company, no matter what we were doing, because Zola and Maggie love to be nearby. They would help us water the gardens, provide cuddles while we had our morning coffee, hang out with us on the deck and snuggle up on the couch in the evening. Having access to the jeep made it easy to drive the two pups to access forest trails so they could run and sniff to their heart's delight. If you're comfortable with dogs off lead and easy forest walks, you'll enjoy your time with these two. Mike and Janet were very generous with us, and we felt very appreciated. Communication was good before and throughout the sit.
Stephanie was an ideal host. She responded quickly to my initial application and we had a good conversation making sure everything was right for both of us. Everything was very well organised and we stayed in touch throughout the sit. Her home is very comfortable and in a very convenient location for exploring the area around. Happy and Hettie are lovely cats, very friendly and affectionate, and very easy to look after. It was a very enjoyable sut.
My experience at Anton’s house in Berlin was fantastic. I spent two wonderful weeks with Alistair and Gregory, two very special cats who, while initially shy, warmed up to me quickly (especially with treats!). Communication with Anton was excellent; he was always available to answer my questions and doubts. I felt comfortable in his home and the convenient location made it easy to explore the city. I would take care of Greg and Alistair again without hesitation!
I had a wonderful time at Stephanie's home! Stephanie was very communicative and provided extremely detailed instructions on the care of both the house and the cats. The house itself was cute and cozy, equipped with everything I needed for my 10-days stay. I was particularly impressed with the collection of iron pans. Even though I’m not much of a cook, I thoroughly enjoyed the meals I made using them. The cats were absolutely adorable, and I already miss them. Moses ensured I didn't forget their feeding time by coming to me every morning as my alarm went off, and Fox as soon as she built trust we me loved to cuddle. My favorite part of the day was taking walks with them around the house. Thank you, Stephanie, for making this a delightful experience!
Gabriela and Javier were great hosts! They’re both extremely kind and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed to care for the beautiful Soki and for me to have a comfortable stay. Their home is clean and in a nice and safe neighborhood. Soki is beautiful and very well behaved. She likes company and so if you work from home like me you will have her at your feet all day but as much as she likes to lounge she enjoys a good walk. I would absolutely sit for Gabriela and Javier again and recommend this sit to anyone.
