Michelle and Jonathan were absolutely fabulous! Had excellent communication with Michelle and they loved our pets like their own! They took great care of the animals and the house was left super clean - they went above and beyond. Really a lovely couple! Cannot thank Them enough

Anne and Simon were helpful and welcoming. Left us all the information we needed and responded to any questions during sit - a lovely place in beautiful countryside with some lovely animal companions

The housesitting for Kate and Tim was a fantastic time for us. The welcomed us warmly into their home and gave us clear, short instructions. Whenever we had a question we could contact them and get helpful advice (also about the area and touristic activities).
Within one month Moe and Mabel have grown dear to our hearts. Moe is a playful, hungry, energetic and fast-learning dog who loves his toys more than anything. Mabel, on the other hand, is a cuddly, patient and calm dog who never says no to pats. Both are easy-going and filled with joy everytime you come back home.
Aside from that the house was completely amazing. You had everything you need plus some extras. It was tidy and didn't take us long to find anything. Don't get me started on the wonderful view and the practical location. Everything was within walking distance.
We are very grateful for our stay and would definitely do it again.

Madison
Madison is a great host and a good communicator. She gets back to you in a timely manner if you have a question. I enjoyed taking care of Niko and Loki while they were away on vacation. The boys were playful at times. Loki likes playing with his mouse toys. I would love to come and sit again for them.

Virginia
Virginia is a kind and considerate host who provided excellent information to care for her home and for Romy. Romy was an absolute delight to sit. She is friendly, enjoys a walk, playing with her toys, and seeing her friends at the Dog Park followed by a swim. The home is very comfortable and very well located with plenty of options for walks and the Dog Park is close by. I highly recommend this sit.

Anne
Anne and Mark were such a kind couple. They welcomed us into their home and were a delight to talk with. Their home is in a lovely location and has a stunning view of the mountains and vineyards. We found ourselves gravitating to their spacious deck to soak up the sun with Rugby, drink our morning coffee or sip an evening glass of wine. We would immediately find smiles on our faces and feel our shoulders drop as we slipped into a state of magical relaxation. We were also surprised to find that there were two deer that would occasionally appear in the back yard and it was so fun to discover that they were nesting behind the garage!

Let’s talk about the star of the show - Rugby. He is such an incredibly sweet, lovable and gentle old man. :0) We found ourselves reminiscing of our own sweet 15 year old pup throughout this sit. We thoroughly enjoyed giving him encouragement and walking with him around the property. He loved to know that we were nearby and would bark for assistance whenever he needed help getting up, which when you combine 15 year old Golden hips and hardwood floors was fairly often. :0) Anne and Mark have made feeding times easy with an automatic watering bowl and allowing Rugby to graze as desired. His only medication was for his joints but he loved his pills and would be ready and waiting to get his morning and evening chewable. The upstairs guest bedroom queen bed was comfortable. However during our stay, we found it necessary that one of us slept downstairs on the couch near Rugby since he was unable to negotiate steps and he seemed to become distressed if we weren’t nearby. We found that this also made his required bathroom breaks during the night much more convenient which fit with Anne’s expectation that he would need to go out every 4 hours. This is definitely a sit for someone who is experienced with a senior dog and able to assist in lifting a larger dog. With that said, you will fall in love with Rugby and leaving will definitely tug at your heartstrings.

Lovely family home in south Manchester with good bus links into town and really close to the river for scenic walks.
Sherlock is a classic lab- big softy and ruled by his stomach. Loves to swim in the river on his walks and will happily snooze if you want to go out for a few hours. He is quite strong so requires a steady hand when he’s on the lead.
Snowbie is a gentle lady with the softest fur who likes the quiet life. I think due to anxiety she doesn’t use the litter trays sometimes and we cleared up two accidents during our stay.
Some nice restaurants and local shops are in walking distance included a lovely coffee hut for the start or end to your river walk
