I think the best sign of a good housesitter is when my cats are hardly phased when I come home because they are so comfortable and well-adjusted, and my cats hardly looked up when I came in the door. She was great at keeping me updated and sending photos of the kitties, plus she kept the house in perfect shape, like I never left. I would highly recommend Wendy for your stay and I look forward to her return soon!
We had SUCH an incredible stay with Mazie at Nick and Alexis' home! The home is beautiful and cozy and in the perfect location - close to downtown, Union Station, and Sloan Lake! It was very easy getting around without a car due to the bus stop near their house. Mazie is the sweetest dog and we had so much fun, it was hard to say goodbye. She is so loving and well behaved! Nick and Alexis had excellent communication with us the whole time as well. We cannot recommend this stay enough!
We had a truly wonderful time with April who has to be the gentlest and sweetest cat on the planet. Her family are also really kind, interesting and generous, with a gentle sense of humour and extraordinary warmth. We were thrilled to meet them. Handover was thorough and friendly, communication easy and timely and April was a gem of a pet. She snuggled against us on the sofa from Day One. It was such a pleasure to love her as if she was our own. She is also the easiest cat we've ever looked after...she did her business outdoors and didn't need her litter tray at all and was not fussy with her food, eating daintily a little of her portion and coming back for more afterwards. We loved Rob and Lucia' s place too...it was a real home , comfy and inviting, yet also playful with a feast for the senses with its beautiful, contrasting shapes, colours and textures everywhere. April's home is just a 10 minute walk to Portobello Road market and to a large supermarket and to the underground, so it was very convenient. We highly recommend this pet sit. As for us, we would return in a heartbeat!
This is a 5 star sit, I loved my time caring for Ezra. Art & Annie live in a lovely house in a great neighborhood. Ezra is a great dog with a friendly personality. Communication with Art & Annie was straight forward and easy. They gave clear and concise instructions for their home and for Ezra. Annie gave me a lovely tour of the home and neighborhood prior to their departure. I would definitely house & dog sit for Art & Annie again if given then opportunity! I highly recommend sitting for Art & Annie in the future!
My partner and I had a wonderful week taking care of Chalky and Phoebe (my namesake!) at Hugh and Prue's amazing home. The dogs are very well behaved and a pleasure to look after. The house itself is lovely, located in a beautiful spot with many walks, short day trips and a great village store nearby. Hugh and Prue were very welcoming hosts and made our stay very comfortable. They were always available to get in contact with if needed. Of note, they were particularly understanding and helpful when unfortunately Phoebe had an accident in the back yard and needed medical attention. We would definitely recommend this sit to others, and would not hesitate to come back again in the future !
I I thoroughly enjoyed my quiet time in Chandlers Ford , in Cindy ‘s house. Arrived the night before and had a Great and yummy dinner with her and Rod ! They are a pair like in a James Bond film : Smart, interesting people ! The house is superb. With a great feeling that shows a Happy Family live there ! Happy also is the quartet! All with so different characters! Dizzy is a Princess! A Velcro doggy who loves nothing more than be with you! Blake….is a Giant woolly white(sometimes brown,black) cool and free-spirit one…who Adores his walks , baths in the wonderful Woods just near the house ! He comes and goes as he wishes but after 2 days( and treats in the pocket) he never lost me from sight! In the house…he sleeps an incredible amount of hours! Definitely an Easy-Happy Dog ! Rizzle is an independent cat. His goal in Life is to eat ! if he can…even the dogs food! MJ was a “ homeless “ cat! After 2 days I ve “ solved “ this issue and he was happily protected, inside the house…just relaxed and a cuddling, purring machine. All 4 animals are gorgeous , entertaining and i had a Great time with them ! 20 thumbs !
If you have the opportunity to sit for this amazing family, jump on it. Nancy, Michael & Nadia are a beautiful family. They are intelligent, kind, generous, wonderful hosts. Their pets are very special too. Malie, is the kindest, most considerate dog I have ever encountered, she is so sensitive and 100% loving, lots of fun too. Daphnee & Yukie both are expressive, funny, loving cats. We loved being with them, hope to repeat in the future.
