Absolutely loved staying at Meg's home with Timmy and Tigger for 3 nights. Both cats were so sweet and friendly. Timmy was straight out to say hello and Tigger not far behind. I let them sleep in with me (which Tigger was straight there as soon as I went to bed), and in general, they would happily come join for a cuddle or a play. Such great company and felt an easy bound. Meg was also so lovely, kind, and easy to communicate with. Her place is great, and the view of the back garden looks very inviting for the warmer months. Situated in a very easy to explore spot. I would recommend the Ocean Cafe, and on Wednesday evening I joined a free letterpress club there and made some art with Alan. The collective are doing lots of interesting things, so any creatives should definitely check out. I also would recommend the Yoga Loft with Jo. I did spend a lot of time chilling with the cats as I just felt very comfortable in Meg's home. So good that I'm excited to return end of Feb. Thank you Meg 😊
Check, check and check... AMAZING pets, home and location. Having spent a number of months enjoying numerous "beach towns" and even the Hollywood Hills, we were hoping to get at least one sit that would give us a realistic feel of living in historic Hollywood. And this was it! We were lucky enough to be chosen by Kevin and Claire as their very first THS pet sitters. Met them in advance and could not have been any easier or more comfortable. What a great couple. Their charming home (which we loved) was spotless and organized for our arrival. Even a very generous welcome gift which was much appreciated. And zero need of car at all in the area. We walked everywhere (much to Luna and Jax's delight). Surrounded by sites to see, restaurants, parks and shopping. And for the most part, all DOG FRIENDLY (and if not DOG FRIENDLY, not our kind of place anyways). Arrived and instantly felt at home and ready to get down to "business":) And that business... Jax and Luna! OMG!! There is little doubt that JAX will initially steal the show. Cute factor of 11/10 with a spunky personality to match. Too much fun. Then there was Luna. Although Jax will distract all your attention initially, within a very short amount of time you will learn that Luna is an absolute SUPERSTAR! Not simply a beauty, but everything about her. Gentle, playful, obedient and on and on and on. Combined all of that with Jax... pure heaven!! Need we say, our visit was FAR TOO SHORT. We built an extreme bond with this pair going on daily adventures, endless walks and at home play. Luna and Jax went everywhere with us. Never left our side. Looking back at their little faces as we departed on our final day was heartbreaking to say the least. Good news is that we are confident we will see them again, as California will be our new Fall/Winter "home" for years to come. Thanks Kevin and Claire! Look forward to seeing you all again. Scarlett is an AMAZING dog! From the instant you meet her, she is your friend! She just followed me around the appartement, sat next to me while watching tv and slept on the bed with me at night. Nothing like being woken up by a happy pup who just wants to be pet! Walking with her was also simple as Kevin and Meg gave me all the needed info. Please don’t laugh, but it’s even possible to have conversations with her as she answers your questions. It’s also fun to play with her and feed her because you can see they have raised her well. She was very gentle and respectful of me. As for Kevin and Meg, they were super responsive when we texted and made everything clear. We initially talked on FaceTime to get acquainted. They also left us a complete guide of how everything works. Their home is ideally located in Williamsburg, close to a subway station, grocery store, bars, restaurants, food trucks, vintage stores and more. I felt like a king in their place and I hope I get the chance to sit for them again. Scarlett, Kevin and Meg: you made my New York City yearly stay a moment to remember!
Krista is an incredible person.. caring..And these cats are adorable, very greedy and very cuddly! I loved my stay there! It was full of love!
This was a lovely sit. Peggy is very welcoming and organised, I had all the info needed to have a lovely time, and she was available by text if needed. Rosie and Daisy are delicious little doggies. They are affectionate and entertaining, and loved our trots along the foreshore at Manly. They are both cosy dogs, loving a cuddle on the sofa and sleeping close. Unlike some dogs I've shared a sleep with, they settle and we all slept very well. Peggy's home is in an ideal location, walking distance to everything, and parking with a permit available. The unit has all needed conveniences, and it was a total pleasure to house and pet sit here for her. I'll be back, I hope.
This was a great sit, Dylan & Celia are lovely, and Bella is the sweetest. During our two-week stay, we grew to care for Bella. They are not kidding when they say that no bags/no bags that contain food can be left anywhere that Bella can get to, so make sure to put away your bags and any food she can get to. The apartment is beautiful and very close to the center of Tallin. Their personal assistant, Katrin, was great, and made sure everything went smoothly. Dylan and Celia had their housekeeper come at the start and end of the sit, which was very kind. I would happily do this sit again!
