Mary

Mary looked after Shiva and Kali for a week and was everything we hoped for; plus, the cats loved her! She was helpful before she came, communicative while we were away and left the house (and cats) spotless for our return. Our two Burmese are demanding customers and report that they would love to see Mary again. Just purrfect; thank you Mary.

Once again Kirsty has been a great house sitter. She sent us regular updates and videos of our chickens. She happily and promptly responded to our requests to put things in or collect them from our greenhouse when friends came to pick things up or drop them off. We came back to a spotless house. We look forward to welcoming Kirsty back as a house sitter again soon.

Phil did a great job looking after the pets and house. Great communication all the way through. He was very accommodating looking out for an important package that arrived early in the morning - above and beyond! Would be very happy for Phil to sit again.

Katie was a lovely person and we had no hesitation at all in leaving Clyde our Labrador dog with her. She sent messages and photos to us on a regular basis and we could see that Clyde was happy and enjoying her company. He is going to miss her.We have no hesitation in recommending Katie for future house and pet sitting.

Lil was a fantastic sitter, house was left clean and tidy and Harry was a very happy cat. Lil was great at communicating before and during the sit with photo updates of Harry! Sharon stayed with Muffin for a week. She was really great. Plenty of long walks and regular updates on how Muffin was doing. There were no challenges at all during the week I was gone and she was very self sufficient allowing me to enjoy my time away. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Your doggo will be happy too (Muffin was ecstatic around her)

Michael & Leonie did an amazing job! They took perfect care of our dogs and the house while we were away and everything was exactly how we left it when we returned. They sent us regular updates so we knew our dogs were happy. Communication was easy and they went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly.

Chris and his daughter were a fantastic housesit. Chris is incredibly responsible and reliable. Our pets were very well cared for, even though our old dog can be quite challenging at times he took it in his stride and really understood the needs of an old dog. Our home was left exactly how we left it, clean and tidy I felt very at ease on holiday when Chris was here and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to housesit and care for your pets.

Leigh was a brilliant pet/house sitter. She coped well with our terrier who has a mind of her own and she indulged our miniature dachshund as much as we do! The dogs had obviously been very happy with Leigh. The house was immaculate on our return and she welcomed us home with a bowl of delicious home made soup! We had Leigh to stay the night before we left and we now feel we have made a new friend. She is a warm, easy-to-get-to-know person and we shall not hesitate to contact her again when we next go away.

I highly recommend Traci and Damien. I couldn’t have dreamed of better sitters for my pets. It is so clear that they love the pets they care for. They really got to know the personalities of each of my cats and I could see how happy the cats were in the pictures and updates.

One thing that stood out to me was how mature and responsible they are. Over the course of the month, they really established a nice life routine. They explored the city during the day, but often spent time cooking at home in the evenings. They are also both avid readers, which meant lots of kitty cuddles during reading time.

In addition to taking great care of my cats they also took great care of my home and are extremely self-sufficient travelers. I left them some of my recommendations for favorite places around the city, but they also found so many cool and fun things to do on their own and when I returned – they took me out to show me some new fun things to do in my own city!

Because of the timing of my trips over the course of their month-long stay, I had an opportunity to spend some time with them in between and at the end of their sit. I can really say they are kind and wonderful people and I would welcome them back to my home any time – as pet sitters or as friends.

I am so grateful to them. I had a lovely vacation because I never had to worry about my pets. They were so well taken care of and loved. Thank you so much Traci and Damien!! I hope you come back to Istanbul to visit us!

We were SO lucky to have secured Susan and Steve to come and care for our dog, Tinsley! They are kind, personable, conscientious, and obvious pet lovers. Susan and Steve made the effort to come to our home about a month before our time away so that we could meet in person and so that they could familiarize themselves with Tinsley's routine and the workings of the house. They asked great questions and we felt totally comfortable that they would be caring for our dog after that meet-and-greet meeting. There needed to be a hand-off of Tinsley to a friend at the end of their time at our house, and communication there went seamlessly. Susan and Steve were in touch confiming details before the sit, and communication during and even afterwards was excellent. We received much appreciated updates and photos during our time away. We returned to an immaculate house (thanks you guys!) with linens done, guest  bed remade, and everything in order. We truly appreciated that. Best of all, Tinsley remained in her daily routine with 2 walks a day and excellent care. She is always our priority.  Pet owners would be beyond fortunate to have Susan and Steve come to care for their pets. We felt like we won the pet sitter lottery! We hope that Susan and Steve might be able to return someday, but fear that we will be competing with others who have experienced not only great pet sitters, but a wonderful couple!
