We had a great time looking after the boys in a lovely house. Interesting area, we visited Salisbury and Stonehenge. Many gorgeous walks from the door.
The sitting was very nice. They make us feel very welcome. We were allowed to use Carmen's car to go around. Benny is a very nice dog and we enjoyed a lot walking with him and taking care of him. He is very sweet and happy, and likes cuddles and treats. The area around is very nice to have some contact with the nature.
Taking care of Peanut and Piper is wonderful experience every time. They are extremely sweet, affectionate and lovable. They love to walk and play in the parks near their house. Peanut loves to cuddle in bed at night (and I love it too). Laura is one of the most beautiful people I've ever met and thanks to Trusted House Sitting I now have a very special friend and I also get to see Peanut and Piper on a regular basis. Laura thank you so much for trusting me, meeting you has been very special.
We actually didn't get to do this sit as there was a last-minute unforseen emergency (Kristen's son broke his leg!), but we understood completely that these kind of things happen. Our communication with Kristen was prompt and understanding, and she was kind enough to reimburse us for some travel expenses considering the short notice cancellation. We would happily housesit "again" if the opportunity came up.
I had a fantastic stay at Joselins home with lovely wee Bea and Ralph! They are gorgeous wee pups who just love to walk and cuddle, and it was lovely exploring the area together on our walks. Joselins home is so nice and relaxing, everything is very clean and well set up for you to enjoy your time in Almere. The area is great with everything you need in walking/biking distance. I highly recommend this sit - thank you so much Joselin and Rick, I will miss lovely Bea and Ralph!!
We enjoyed staying at Naomi’s place. She lives in a nice quiet leafy neighbourhood that’s perfect for dog walks. The dogs are so sweet and friendly. They were very gentle and patient with our 9 month old. The cat was easygoing and low maintenance. Thanks for having us stay at your place! : )
