We had a lovely time at Saralynn and Gerry's, looking after Ziggy was a pleasure and your home and countryside was amazing. Merry Christmas to you both
Meeting Sheila, Kevin and Maisy was an absolute delight! They welcomed me into their home, which is very spacious, clean and bright. It has a beautiful garden and is in a very peaceful, quiet location but close to shops/restaurants and very easy (& quick) to get into central London. It is also very close to huge parks so is great for going on long walks or out for runs. Maisy was very easy to look after and is very affectionate and playful. She will approach you for cuddles! Sheila and Kevin are wonderful, friendly people - I was lucky enough to spend a couple of evenings with them in advance of the sit - they have traveled around the world and have some fantastic stories to share!
We were catsitting Ella and Oscar for 7 days and really enjoyed their company. Ella loves her food and is very uncomplicated. Oscar was shy at first but overcame his shyness and came on our lap already the first day asking for cuddles :) the fish and plants didn't need much and the place was cosy and clean. The communication with Enhua was great and we had a perfect first time experience with pet sitting on THS. Thank you :)
I had a great time sitting for Lisa, Blue is an absolute doll! He is such a nice dog, well-tempered and very affectionate. The home was nice, clean and welcoming. Lisa was great to work with, pleasant, organized, professional. Their place has wetlands near, and so many types of birds were singing. I even heard an owl! Absolutely would recommend.
Tucker and Maya are both very nice dogs, Tucker has a lot of energy and is always in for a little game/play, and Maya loves to just chill and cuddle. They are easygoing as the lovely house of Jeremy and Grant, which kind is an American dream home, has automated dog doors to the fenced backyard (where they can do their business). The walking part with Maya and Tucker is good as long as you do not directly cross other dogs if you do you must make sure to hold them right :-) Apart from the dog sitting, we did also enjoy the quiet and well-situated house and neighborhood. We could have easily stayed a few more days longer without being bored. Even though we did not meet Jeremy and Grant in Person, we know they are fine people and were pleased with the communication. We definitely would sit again for them.
We enjoyed this housesit in Monterey and recommend it to others! Kathy & Lou are gracious hosts who fed us a delicious, homemade meal, purchased bread & milk for our use and walked us through our responsibilities. Their home is immaculate, comfortable and decorated with interesting artifacts from their extensive travels. The kitchen is well stocked, and we enjoyed using their hot tub. If you're a walker, Monterey Bay & the historic part of town are about a mile away, the aquarium and Cannery Row are about 2-miles away and the walks at Pacific Grove, Asilomar State Park and Point Lobos State Park aren't to be missed! The furry friends were a lot of fun! Goldie is an extrovert who loves a warm lap. Mimi hid from us the entire first day, but eventually, we learned how to read her unique voice and her cues, and she became a sweet cuddler as well. Thank you for sharing your home and your sweet pets with us, Kathy & Lou!
