Ana was a very welcoming, polite and helpful host. She showed me everything and made sure I was comfortable during my stay, even asking me what I would like to eat. Husky also was very fun to play with and she is always was excited to go for a walk and being playful with the other dogs and neighbors as well. The day I was living we also had a very fun and interesting conversation while going for a walk with Husky. Thank you Ana!!
Ian and Helen are ultra friendly hosts . Meika their Husky is gorgeous and so good natured . She has a great character and loves to have a wee dip in water when out for a walk. The house is fabulous and has amazing views. Ian and Helen very generously recommend you eat up the veggies growing in the garden which is a major bonus . There are many and varied scenic walks near the house and within a short drive . I would highly recommend this house sit.
I loved my time with Katmandu and staying at Rochelle's place! Katmandu is a joy to be around and loves to interact. He also is very photogenic! Rochelle made staying at her place relaxing and communicated well. If you get the opportunity to spend time with Katmandu - I highly recommend it!
My stay at Debbie's house was incredible. The neighborhood is very accessible if you don't have your own vehicle: good walks everywhere, a supermarket 2 minutes away, and the bus stop right outside the door. Debbie's house is beautiful and very comfortable. It has everything you could need, and the garden was my favorite spot for breakfasts. Bonnie and Buddy were two wonderful companions. They behave very well on walks (most owners always say this, but they really walk very well on a leash, hahaha). They behave incredibly well during the day, leaving me to work without any issues. Buddy is incredibly sweet and loves cuddles, Bonnie loves attention, and she loved being held up during some video calls. I had a wonderful time, Debbie left very clear instructions and made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcome from the very beginning. She arranged for her son to pick me up at the station, allowed me to stay after his arrival at her home... she has been a wonderful hostess.
I could not have been happier with this housesit. Very kind homeowners, a beautiful home and a sweet (under his hard exterior) kitty cat. Valerie and Dennis went over all of the details of the care of Nash and their very spacious home. The space provided for the sitter included the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on and a private bathroom, along with Blue Ridge mountain views. I wish I lived closer so I could take care of Nash every single time he needed a sitter! Asheville has so much to offer with outdoor activities, restaurants, the Biltmore….but the spot I frequented most was the huge back deck facing the stunning views. I highly recommend this sit to anyone and I would gladly go back again and sit for Valerie, Dennis and Nash anytime I had the opportunity.
 Willy was super fun and playful :) We had a fun time exploring different parks around the city. Jonathon left the apartment, clean and ready for me, and set up a bed for me in the spare room. The neighborhood is nice, and parking was fairly easy if you have a car. The highlight of this stay was the dog run downstairs which has lots of friendly, neighbors and cute dogs. All the dogs down there were very friendly and easy-going, as well as the neighbors. Overall, Willie is very easy to care for, and loves to play fetch. We had a great weekend in beautiful, sunny, Potrero Hill.
