What a wonderful housesit! Georgie and Alex were brilliant hosts and great fun to be around. We were lucky enough to share two suppers with them and they really are excellent company. Their home is a gorgeous space, warm, welcoming and full of peace. The house is comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need for a lovely stay. There are some stunning walks straight from the house and plenty of sightseeing to be done if you want to venture further afield. It really is situated in a very beautiful corner of England. Kali and Mamba are such lovely dogs, they took us on some wonderful walks and provided us with lots of fun at home. They are well behaved and a joy to be around. Whether cuddled up on the sofa in the evenings or playing ball in the garden they are perfect company. Marvellous Merlin the cat is also gorgeous and provided us with a lot of laughs, he’s quite a character and we departed more than a little in love with all three of them! If you get the chance to sit here, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it. It really was a perfect housesit and we’d love to return again one day.
I started the new year in Baltimore with this bunch and all three of them were adorable! The senior pup will go the restroom inside as Ellyn mentions in the listing, but the first floor of the home is easy to clean up and the sit was overall still easy and relaxing. In spite of being directly across from a few businesses, the area was very quiet. The home isn't too far from the city and there's a nice bike trail about 15 minutes or less away that you can ride all the way to the Inner Harbor. I appreciated Elly stocking the fridge with a few things for me and felt very welcomed and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone!
Hannah and Steve were super friendly and communicative. Communicating with them prior and during our stay was effortless and we greatly appreciate their thorough instructions and handy videos!! Luna is an absolute sweet heart. Taking care of her was a delight! Thank you ,Hannah and Steve, for a lovely stay.
Oh my goodness, we had such a lovely stay with Persimmon and Peregrine! Anna and Christa’s apartment is a gem, cosy and clean and it’s in a great location within walking distance to Rock Creek Park and local eateries and grocery stores. With the soft classical music playing on the radio we felt transported to another time. Anna and Christa are responsive, kind and communicative hosts. Persimmon and Peregrine are simply delightful! We had such fun playing their games and seeing their little personalities on full display. They’re curious, playful kitties who quickly become furry friends who you don’t want to say goodbye to. Thank you for our stay!
We had a great time in Lytham with the dogs. Ralph and his partner were very welcoming and easy going, we immediately felt at ease. They explained everything really well so we knew exactly what needed to be done. The dogs are very friendly and they were great with our 3 year old son. The local walks are beautiful (forest, beach and parks to choose from) and the dogs have fantastic recall. The house itself is lovely and the garden is great for playing ball with the dogs! We would definitely recommend housesitting here.
Rosie is a total sweetheart! It was a pleasure to take care of her for Marleen and Michael while they were away. Their home is a very comfortable, spotlessly clean house with a unique historical aspect for the area. Speaking of the area, it is simply beautiful; adjacent to a large open space park area, and the neighborhood itself is peaceful and quiet. Marleen and Michael made it a very easy and enjoyable experience with clear communication and a comprehensive written instructions guide. I will gladly return in the future, and can wholeheartedly recommend house sitters to consider an assignment here.
