Great sit! I was warmly welcomed (Kenan joined a day later) by Anne and Willem into their lovely home and given a tour. The location is very good; very central amongst stores, restaurants and next to the tram. It's easy to reach the beach from here which I did multiple times, also borrowing the bycycle of the household, thank you! We were lucky to have weather warm enough to swim and lounge on the beach at this time of year. (it made the apartment quite warm but we used the shutters etc and the ceiling fan in the bedroom to keep cool). The apartment full of beautiful instruments made us very happy! It has everything you might need and makes a cosy stay. But most importantly of course, Gijs is a very special cat. Beautiful and intelligent, telling you to pet him before he eats, several times! Funny and adorable 😍 Gijs is an independent cat who is easy to take care of and most of that is him asking for pets, again, before eating. We love how he talks! Thank you Willem and Anne for entrusting us with your beloved kitty and home. We would not hesitate to do it again, maybe 'till next time :-)
If you are looking for a place to housesit in Yorkshire, consider Susan and Duncan's home. It is lovely, light-filled, thoroughly comfortable and located off the beaten path, in a small village called Myton-on-Swale. You are a quick half hour to York, plus just a few minutes to numerous villages with wonderful architecture, shops and restaurants (Boroughbridge, etc.) I housesat just before they got their new pup, Pippa, so can't let you know how she is to sit for. But I can tell you the owners were friendly and relaxed about having someone stay at their house. Their wonderful neighbors checked on me and stopped to chat throughout the week. I truly enjoyed my time in this lovely part of northern England. Highly recommended!!!
My welcome was well received by Juliet and Keith both are a lovely couple. Juliet immediately introduced me to "Tort", who was a delight to sit for. You are givin very good instructions regarding "Torts" care. He has a very unique personality. Very atuned to people and loves his pen outdoors when the sun is out. I learned what to feed him from the garden. It was an interesting experience! I highly recommend this sit. Juliet is a facsinating woman and her love for animals is superb! The home is beautiful, gardens exquisite just an overall calm, peaceful stay. Instructions well documented! Thank you Juliet and Keith for this impactful experience! Tort has my heart!

I had a nice petsitting with Dave in Versoix. Dave is a nice cat, he is shy at first and then comes to you. Dave is super easy to handle. The flat is well equipped with nice furniture and high tech items. The flat is well located in Versoix, which closed to Geneva, about an 15 minutes journey with the local train. Versoix has an amazing view on the Leman Lake. The communication with Chris and Laura was smooth as well prior, during and after the petsitting. I recommend this petsitting.
Kathleen and Niko were a pleasure. Kathleen was easy to communicate with, and her home was clean and had everything I needed. Niko was a very friendly cat who loved belly rubs and treats. I would stay again!
