This sit was wonderful. Tusca and Doogan were a pleasure to look after. The two were full of antics and we enjoyed taking them for walks. We had a nice clean and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The view of Brisbane CBD is breath taking from the home and having morning coffee on the deck was a pleasure. Chris and Craig were very accommodating by having us stay a day early and picking us up at the train station prior to the sit date. Although a car was available to us, the public transportation system is excellent and close to the house. This ia a great sit if you are in the Brisbane area.
We absolutely loved our weekend in Deal hanging with Mila and Betty. They’re absolutely adorable and super well behaved. Caitlin and Dan have a gorgeous home and made us feel very welcome.
Anett and her family are lovely - they gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had all the information we needed for a successful sit. Molly is a great dog and is very enthusiastic for her walks. She is very cuddly and loves someone to play with. Mico mostly takes care of himself but enjoys the occasional fuss. We had a comfortable and relaxed stay here and enjoyed exploring some of the local area.
We spent two wonderful weeks in Carla and Costas beautiful light-filled home and their gorgeous vegetable and flower garden, with two terraces, one covered for windy days. We loved hanging out in the garden with Chappy, stretched out on the grass, and sleek Jem and Scout returning from one of their meanderings through the neighborhood to join us for some ‘conversation’ and affection. Chappy has such a wonderful character, it didn’t take us long to become best of friends. Sometimes, especially when waking from a deep sleep, it would take a little piece of bread, which he loves, to get him interested in a walk. But then he was happy to go. We tried different routes for new interesting sniffing. Sometimes, quite far from home, Jem or Scout would suddenly appear, have a friendly greeting, and return home with us. It’s so delightful to see the three of them greeting each other with kisses, and their mock chases and play. We couldn’t have wished for more fun and affectionate companions. We enjoyed exploring the fields and open farmland surrounding the area, with the fruit trees in full bloom, or a trip to the Basel old town, or a short ride across the border to France for some shopping. We were sad to leave and say good by to Chappy, Jem and Scout, we will surely miss them. All the best to you all. Irene
Lovely and peaceful sit! Max and Nina were adorable and easy to care for. The automated feeder and water fountain made it a breeze. I really only needed to clean the litter box. Max and Nina are playful and fun- I enjoyed their cuddles as well. While I worked I would watch them sunbathe most of the day. I highly recommend this sit! Abby was very pleasant and clear on instructions. Nice location as well!
