This was such an amazing sit and Jenna and Stuart were the most wonderful and gracious hosts! Their house in Nelson is stunning and is centrally located to everything. Sweet Riley is a such a gem and so easy to spend the days with too! Had so much fun exploring all of Nelson’s beauty with her. The Cook family was also kind enough to allow me to stay with them the night prior to their departure as well as the days following and during that time, I absolutely fell in love with their entire family. Can’t thank them enough for everything. If you’re blessed enough to be invited for a sit with Riley and the Cook Family, I’d recommend not passing it up! :)
We had an absolutely amazing time looking after Boston, Tara, Smokey & Charlie. They are such easy-going and people loving animals. They were really comfortable with us from day one. Judith was so great and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. She is super relaxed and so easy to be around. We arrived a few days prior to her trip and had a great time. It was nice to get to know the animals with Judith being there, just because it gave us that little bit of extra comfort to know the special behaviors and likings of every animal. But again, they are so easy to look after. We took Boston and Tara out for walks in the morning and evening and sometimes in between if we were around. But they are also OK on their own if you want to go out and explore the area during the day. The cats are pretty independent, but they will let you know when they are in need of a snuggle. Charly, in particularly will treat you with cuddles on the couch. Judith's house is modern and just a short drive to one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast and beautiful areas to explore. We didn't miss anything during our stay. It was hard saying goodbye and leaving, but we know we will meet again someday. Thank you, Judith, for a wonderful pet sit experience.
Dinuka & Russ were fantastic hosts, their communication was excellent and the house was spotless for our arrival. We felt very fortunate that we had the opportunity to have dinner with them the night before and meet the two boys before the house sit. Thank you so much again for your time and hospitality. The house is outstanding, really well thought out and has everything you could possibly need. The view from the decking is incredible and it feels like your submersed in nature. We spent most mornings out there whilst drinking our coffee and listening to the birds. We really fell in love with this spot. Both Tetley & Theo are a breeze to look after. They are two very sweet dogs that are extremely good out on walks but also happy to chill with you on the couch. There is a lovely loop walk behind the house that we did most evenings and the two boys loved it. Thank you very much once again for the opportunity to look after your boys & home.
We had a wonderful stay! Claire and Derek were very helpful, communicative and generous! The two boys, Kas and Gobez were super easygoing and friendly! Our daughter grew very fond of them and still keeps asking when we are going to see them again! The little guinea pigs were fun to feed and watch, and so were the chickens! We would certainly sit again!
We had a lovely time sitting for Sage and the chickens. Sage is a very sweet dog and the house was very comfortable and located in a cute little Portland neighborhood close to beautiful walking trails and not far from all that Portland has to offer!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Brook's. The dogs (two pure-bred Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier) are the cutest things ever. They're all super sweet, with totally different personalities. They were easy to take care of, and Brook left really clear instructions on how to feed them and clean up after them. Her communication was great, and she was lovely and appreciative. I would happily return to spend more time with Boji, Cassie and Vannah anytime.
