A veteran house sitter, she arrived on-time and had all her personal items, food, etc. in boxes ready to move in. We communicated regularly via text and she gave us very welcome updates on our cats, who quickly became best buddies with her. She is very self-reliant and independent and someone who can handle unexpected events (she had the WiFi go out for a while one day). Val left our house super tidy; indeed so clean it didn't look like she had even lived there for 11 days. She is one of the best sitters we have had. I'd recommend her without reservations, especially if you have pets that need a little extra care.
