Sheri and Kevin were awesome! So friendly, communicative and they left the house spotless! Our pets were happy and at ease. Lovely lovely! We certainly will have them watch our home and pets again if the opp arises!
Zander took good care of our dog for an extended stay. He was great with communication and sent videos on a regular basis so we could see what Maple was up to. He is also very active and Maple got a ton of exercise while we were gone, which was great. He was very self-sufficient, and we didn't get many questions about the house or dog while we were gone. Zander could have paid a bit more attention to the house manual while we were gone. Some of the plants were not watered in accordance with instructions, and our dog was definitely on the couch even though we said she was not allowed on furniture. Overall, we were happy with Zander's sit and would have him again.
Our stay at Wendy house was very nice! She was welcoming and communicative. The dogs are very gentle as well. It was a short and sweet stay! I lost my passport and she was very pro active looking at it. Thank you again for this. Thank you very Much!
Kiki and Andrew gave us a tour of their house on facetime and told us where everything was. They are very friendly people. The house has a nice garden and as Andrew says they are in the process of doing it up. The cats are so cute, they took a day to warm to us but once they did we cuddled and played a lot. The area is really nice with lots of green areas to walk around, two stations and a Lidl nearby!
Both Jennifer and Hachi are great. Jennifer is indeed a "flower among flowers" as her profile attests. A lively and vivacious spirit, a clear communicator and sensitive to a sitter's needs and concerns. Hachi is a sweet boy and a delight to sit for. He is temperamentally very well-balanced, independent and affectionate. All of which makes him much loved by the entire neighborhood who all look out for him. His favorite napping spot was on my lap, his nightly sleeping spot up next to my pillow. The only point of compromise was that he is a morning "person" and I am not so much. We agreed to meet in the middle though and it worked out very well for us both in the end. All in all, I very much enjoyed my time here. The studio apartment is small, clean and well set up. The proximity to several dozen restaurants, cafés, brew pubs, grocery stores and all of downtown, all within easy walking distance, is definitely a big selling point to it's location. I not only would be happy to tend to Hachi again, but look forward to it.
If you like big, gentle dogs, as we do, then this is the ideal sit for you! We absolutely loved it. Shadow is a handsome and well behaved Newfoundlander who enjoys two walks a day, followed by a swim in the family pool! He is quite content to snooze the day away while you go off to explore this beautiful area of south Phoenix, or will keep you company while you work, read a book, or watch t.v. Jenny and Jeff are welcoming and generous hosts who are keen for you to enjoy their comfortable and beautifully furnished home. Their modern kitchen is a joy to cook in, as it is so well organized and has all the spices and condiments you would want. The sunny backyard has an entertainment area with a large pool. It was hot during our stay. The pool was a wonderful activity for us! The air conditioned, comfortable guest room made for a good night’s sleep. One week’s stay was not enough at this wonderful home with Shadow! We highly recommend a sit at Jenny and Jeff’s and hope they will have us back!
Carol is so kind to communicate with and Chloe is the cutest doggie and a true pleasure to take care of. She loves a treat after she goes potty and loves to snuggle wherever you are in the house. Their house is super clean, organized and very cozy. We enjoyed the quiet location outside of the city. Very pleasant experience!
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Adrian's and Sharon's beautiful home in Oakland! Perfect experience from the first moment of getting in touch to the goodbyes at the end. Great, quick and easy communication to set up the sit as well as during our stay. We so enjoyed the lovely and tastefully furnished house with great kitchen, comfortable living room with propane fire place, our own private bathroom and large & comfortable guest room for us to stay in. Lovely neighborhood with great views also! Adrian and Sharon invited us over to their house the night before they left for their vacation and cooked dinner for us. They showed us around the house and we were able to meet sweet & funny Frank, the French Bulldog, and learn all about his routines. This plus a comprehensive welcome guide made the sit super easy for us. Frank is an adorable dog that loves to cuddle, play and chill with you on the couch or elsewhere near you. He is easy to handle and well behaved, smart, charismatic and just a lot of fun - we already miss him!! Thank you guys for making this all sooo nice & easy for us. We'd do it again any time!
