Bó and Meala were the sweetest dogs ever! We had an amazing time with them. Thank you Paula and Conor for having us in your lovely home, we'd love to come back.

Elwyn
We had a great time at Elwyn’s place getting to know Mia. She is certainly a strong personality! Elwyn was a great communicator and made us feel welcome. It was made clear that Mia’s buttons are how she feels heard and understood, we put in the effort to accommodate her wants and needs. It was challenging at first, and sometimes we could tell Mia was frustrated that we weren’t fully grasping what she meant.
Despite some minor difficulty around this, Mia was affectionate when she chose to be and overall we are very grateful for the experience and chance to get to know Mia’s unique personality.
Elwyn has clearly put in a lot of work to create a good life for her, the apartment is a cat’s paradise! We would return to care for Mia again if we have the chance.

Ian
We had a very enjoyable stay with Devo. Ian is very welcoming. His flat is well equipped, especially the whole set of speaker system and the fully equiped kitchen. Ian's house is in a good location with lots of parks surrounding, and the nearby Stoke Newington Church Street is a very vibrant street with very good restaurants and stores.

And Devo is a super sweet boy, he is really easy to take care of. He liked to cuddle up with us at home and is very friendly when playing with his friends in the parks. We just love him!

Alex
As our first house sit through THS, this has set the bar high! Nala and Bobbi were a delight to look after and Alex & Tim’s home is lovely (as is the garden). Alex was really generous, friendly and helpful, and the communication before and during the sit felt easy and relaxed. We would definitely return if the opportunity arose!

Shelley
It was a pleasure to look after Bonnie, she is a sweet, lovely, easy going dog. There are lots of great walks on the doorstep including along the river and a playing field where Bonnie loves to play ball.

Shelley and her family were very welcoming into their home and communication was easy and very responsive. They live in a beautiful, safe, quiet area but with good transport links into London.

If you get the chance to do this sit I would recommend it!

Bill
Sitting for Bill and Char was a fantastic experience! First of all they are experienced home swappers so they really get it. Their home is set up perfectly to welcome guests right in. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. They are clear and direct communicators and have a thorough home guide with all the necessary information. We were lucky enough to have dinner with Bill and Char the night before their departure and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and sharing travel stories. Have I mention the spectacular location? The location alone is worth taking this sit. You are a 5 minute walk to the dog beach, waterfront, Steamers (go and get a fresh fish taco… it’s a must), and a great park for walks.
But let’s face it, the star of this sit is their beautiful best girl, Duchess! We absolutely LOVE this dog! She is really a special girl. She is active, obedient, lovable and a generally great companion! She warmed right up to us and our senior dog, Hershey. She loves her walks and she loves food : ). We had so much fun taking her on her favorite walks (Bill leaves lots of suggestions). The dog beach was probably our favorite because it’s so close, off leash and just a great vibe but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. It helps to be an active person because Duchess really does require two solid walks per day for her general well being. She walks great on a leash just hold on tight if she sees a cat other than that she is not a puller. She loves her off leash time too and Bill leaves a list of areas that allow that. She loves her play time at the house and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. I really can’t say enough good things about this sit. We already have a repeat sit coming up for them and we are so excited to return. All this to say that we highly recommend this sit…… you will not only get to care for an amazing dog and home but you will also get to meet some fabulous humans! Thank you Bill And Char!
