Pet Sitters in Weirsdale, FL

So far I have no complaints. This is the first time using them for Abby, my Miniature Poodle Shihtzu mix. I can say the place was clean and the staff friendly. I had arranged Abby's stay weeks in advance. When I arrived they said I needed a local contact who could be at their location within 45 minutes. I had no problem with that but if they would have called and asked before her dropoff date or asked at the time I booked her stay it would have been done. Luckily I got a hold of my neighbors before my plane took off and gave them their contact information. I knew they wouldn't have minded just didn't know if they had plans. I was told that this was something new. Just glad I didn't have to cancel my trip.

Best kept secret boarding! This is the most awesomest place to board your Dogs or Cats and birds. Its very clean and bright and every room has a cute theme along with a Kitty bed and a TV. The place isn't too big but yet not too small and the girls that work there have been there for years and love their job. You can even come in for a free tour. Five star Pet Hotel

There paperwork ruined my vacation. Said they would call me with any problems, they never called. I couldn't find another place for my dog on short notice so I had to cancel my flight and hotel. Never again also, the place smelled with pet hair everywhere. Try cleaning

We had to board our 2 cats for about 3 weeks while we were relocating to Florida. Village Pet Villas was awesome!! The pet transport service was able to drop off the 2 fuzzies while we were still out of state & they were very well cared for. We were worried they might be traumatized but they were happy as clams here. The little condos are great. We visited once and the cats were very happy, purring & eating. The staff was great. Can definitely recommend them for your treasured pets.

We've used Pet Villas once before and our cat did very well. Staff was very interested in my pet and her needs. They were "pet friendly "! Our cat is there now as a matter of fact. Highly recommend.

I have been using Village Pet Villas to board my dog for a few months and I'm so glad I found them. The staff are amazing and they understand the stress both the owner and dog go through when having to board. I have total confidence and piece of mind in this facility and wouldn't take my dog any other place. They are the best!

This place is AMAZING! We brought our pup and kitty here from out of state, an were looking for just the right safety, care, and love for them that we give...And We Found it! The Manager Susan was Delightful an Warm to our situation of needs... The facility is Very Clean and Full of Love. We will be looking forward to returning and having our pets stay here Again. First time stay for Chi Chi, our 6 lb finicky chihuahua, was a charm. The spacious room, comfortable toddler size bed and surroundings made Chi Chi feel relaxed so he was able to eat, move around. He did not bark to get out as we left him..There was plenty of light so he could sun bathe as he wished. The facility is immaculate and free of any unpleasant odors. There was room for his small crate, favorite bedding and toys. They refrigerated his home made food and heated it up as needed. They followed all my wishes for his comfort and nutrition. When we arrived he was comfortably laying on his round bed brought from home i had placed on top of the toddler bed. And from what I saw the bedding on his small crate was used so he had his choice of any part of the room and beds he wanted to use. I am grateful for the care,atmosphere and we where able to leave with a peaceful mind. I have contacted several so called pet hotels they don't let you inspect the premises first AND the rooms are not spacious as the represent. They r more like cubicle rooms, and staff not so friendly....Thanks pet villas will be seeing you again as we begin to travel. Anyone able to donate to this beautiful place please do so, it is well worth having a place like this where you can be completely confident your pet WILL BE "SAFE" AND COMFORTABLE"!!!!!! with the comforts of home. If my Chi Chi was believe me ALL will be.

Here is an update to my original post and I added a couple of stars. I was contacted a couple of days later with apology and confirmation of available booking. I was then able to go on my 10 day vacation and when I returned my pup was happy and had been well cared for. I appreciated all efforts made to correct the confusion. The staff was very nice. I would be willing to use them again to board my dog. Original post (only 1 star rating) Not sure if it’s the business’ process or some irresponsible employees but I tried booking a reservation to board twice, 2 months and 1 month before my trip, and both times there was no physical record made of my reservation.

My cat stayed here for about a week and had a great time. She had space to move around and a window to look out of. The staff is wonderful and took the time to let her out and play with her. They even took her picture for a Christmas ornament! This was our first time boarding her, and we could not be more comfortable or pleased with the care she received.

I have a high-energy German Shepherd mix with Doberman that had a lot of anxiety to play with other dogs. Liz helped me with this, her training sessions were engaging and tailored to my dog’s needs. Started to see results just after the first session. Liz is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her for anyone looking to improve their dog’s training and behaviour.

Just picked up our girl from a 10 day stay. Coco was very happy and well cared for. Liz always takes great care of our pup and we feel confident and worry free whenever she stays. Bonus is that any time we go to drop her off, she gets so excited when we are getting close to Liz’s house.

I have a HIGH energy spoiled Standard Poodle that most dog sitters can not handle. I am so fortunate to have found Liz! She knows how to handle dogs and my dog gets to run like a nut while there. Liz has a great setup for dog care. I totally trust her to take care of our princess!

We were very lucky to find Elizabeth as we are snow birds and new to the area. We use Liz to watch our 60 lb Labradoodle at least twice a week for play days and several overnights on weekends for 4 months now. We will be going back home till next winter and will miss her excellent care for our dog. She is really great with all the dogs and actually supervises them all day while they play in the huge private yard or are taking a time out inside. Rest assured your dog will come home happy and tired after staying at Good Dog. I would highly recommend her and will be back next year.

Owner Liz Doyle has created a fun, safe and secure home away from home for dogs. Her property is designed with many opportunities for the dogs to play. Budzie enjoys both day care and overnight stays. Liz is professional, friendly and caring. Her rates are the most reasonable in the area. She taught him how to sit and wait before coming in! I always rest easy knowing my "Pookie" is with her.

Liz took excellent care of our dog Dallas while we travelled. She was loving and caring and worked patiently with his finicky eating habits. He Loved her large fenced yard. .

Liz takes such good care of our kitties when we are out of town!! They are always happy to see her which doesn’t happen often with other visitors. Liz is the best!

Liz has an amazing place to keep my fur babies entertained. She has had both my pups, and had been able to work with my 12+ year old German Shepard and sort energetic younger one. She's the only place we take our 'kids'

My Lola had lots of fun when she spent last Thanksgiving with Elizabeth. She provided wonderful care for my Havanese and I felt comfortable leaving my bay with her. I definitely recommend her for your furry friend.

Zero stars. Do not take your pets there. My 11 year old beagle was injured in their care while being boarded. My mother picked her up and she was struggling to walk. So we rushed her to the vet and the vet said there was definitely an injury that occurred. When we confronted them they said no she was fine while she was there they said she even ran to the door all excited. No she was not fine. Stuff happens but their refusal to give us any information and there lack of care about an injury happening is unacceptable She was dropped off perfectly healthy then clearly injured and in pain for pick up. So question is what happened to her while she was in there care and how long was she in pain? I will never take my dog back to them.

We cannot thank VPS enough for loving on our girl during our time in Florida. I had called several times prior to boarding and each time I was met with patience and understanding. Our Ava girl is a rescue and it was her first time being away from us and her first time with boarding. We weren’t sure how she would respond to the new environment but the staff helped ease our anxiety when we arrived by allowing us to help her settle in. We looked forward to seeing the progress she made throughout her stay and she warmed up to all the staff like we had hoped!! They truly love all the sweet fur babies that come through their door and treat them like their own. We were worried, we were nervous, and we were hesitant not being present with her but she did great because of the staff!

Village Pet Spa transformed my 2 rescues into beautiful gorgeous dogs!! Both were found abandoned in around The Villages in the last 6 months. Health issues kept them from getting a good groom before today August 16, 2024. Once healthy and on the mend, appointments were made and now look fabulous! I am very thankful for the wonderful groomers who brought their personality’s out! Stormy and Provie are grateful for their love of grooming abilities!

We've only been here a few times but I could tell it was organized and run well. Big kennels for the dogs and lots of play areas. Ollie seemed to enjoy it.

Sophie had fun at her first Villages Pet Party to celebrate Ms. Truffle's birthday 🩷 Everyone was very friendly and pups were all happy. I got to tour the facility which was well kept and clean. Nice sized kennels and multiple different outdoor play areas. I would definitely board Sophie here. 😁

We have two small dogs and we put them into day care to have time to house-hint in the Villages. They did very well there, staff were nice, and our girls slept like logs at night.

My dogs have been here a few times for grooming, I am always pleased! Booking is easy, customer service is good!

I've just started using them for grooming and daycare and will also use them for boarding when the need arises. I have a rescue Miniature Poodle Mix who at time gets scared in strange places. She did very well in daycare. I was very satisfied with the grooming service too. I will definitely be using them on a regular basis. I've already started booking for every six weeks.

Not happy with a groomer (Denise) at Village pet spa. Our 2 doodles went there today for the second time. They look great, however their report cards were not. Prior to picking them up I received the reports sounding like a bunch of complaining. One groomer said our girl kept sitting making it hard to trim her stomach and kept lifting her paw so it had to be held in order to trim another leg, but she’s super sweet just not a fan of grooming. Denise commented how touchy our other dog was on his legs and feet especially for dryer. Won’t stand and BARKER. (In all caps, seriously?) Very jumpy and anxious. He was that way the first time and she was hoping it was first time nervousness. She copped an attitude as soon as we walked in and I called her out on it after I picked them up. She said that was because she recognized him. 😳 Hello, Dogs feed off of body language and tone. We have never had an issue with prior groomers which she told me, some groomers will tell you what you want to hear. 😳 She not only has attitude but a lack of professionalism. I’m not saying she was lying because he can get anxious. I’m sure he was for his ‘second’ visit, he was when we walked in. But, if this was truly an issue she could have handled it better. Maybe some empathy and compassion for his second appt nerves. She was clearly able to groom him within the allotted time and he looks great. They had the nerve to charge a 15- handling fee for him and 20 for our dog that kept sitting? A phone call to let me know what was happening would have been nice not to read the reports prior to pick up then get there and be told it was another 35- dollars on top of a pricey grooming. Wonder what kind of handling justified that? Because of the rude, confrontational attitude by this groomer, the handling fee became their tip. I also cancelled a week of boarding and will not be back.

I brought my dog Scruffy to this establishment for boarding June 28th- 29th. The staff was knowledgable and attentive. During Scruffys stay he threw up the first visit and I think it was due to him being around so many dogs. I don't believe it was from the facility per se. I think all the excitement got the best of him. This facility does not walk dogs BTW. After inquiring, I learned they separate the dogs by size and temperament and let them play together outdoors. This is a nice change of pace, as other places that we have boarded him at, either have no place to run or are walked in the local neighborhood briefly. When I came to pock him up Sunday I could tell he was wore out by all the playing and I could tell by his scent he had been outdoors for extended periods. However, he came back to me in good health and I could see he was happy. Truly a pet vacation. Thank you!

We boarded our dog for the first time, and let me tell you we will not go anywhere else. They took such great care of her! The staff is absolutely phenomenal! Great prices, clean facility, friendly staff, and you get updated pictures of your fur babies on Facebook. Thank you Sleepy Hollow for taking such great care of Hazel during her stay!! 10/10 recommended!!

We live our 2 mini dachshunds and take them everywhere we can with us. However we needed to find a place we felt comfortable with in leaving them for a cruise. After careful consideration and reading reviews we decided that Sleepy Hollow was the place we could trust to leave our furbabies. They have stayed several times now. From a 7 night stay to a 2 day stay. We know that the staff is loving, caring and treats then like we do which gives us comfort. We're happy to have a place we can take them to. One in which treats them as we do. Makes it easier not to stress when you can see how happy they are.

Sleepy hollow is my go to Kennel the staff is amazing very friendly and helpful without a doubt one of the best and cleanest in the area. Both my Pug and Border Collie has stayed with them numerous times and they have been nothing but the best with them. The area is always clean. 5/5 recommendations.

I have boarded my pugs there twice. The facility is small and homey and clean. My dogs usually come back from other places smelly and needing a bath but not at Sleepy Hollow. The staff are nice and helpful. Highly recommend

My dogs run in there when we take em and that signs to me that they love it. They’re always received with hugs and love from the staff. We board them there and when we pick them up they are clean,pedicured and healthy. We walk thru the kennel and it’s clean and spacious. I’m a forever patron of Sleepy Hollow Boarding & Groom

Our pups were cared for by the team at Sleepy Hollow for 8 days. One pup is an older dog. The other a spunky yearling. They apprised us of the status and were very understanding when we checked on them. When we picked our pups up, they helped me load things and also gave us a review on their stay. Sleepy Hollow took the best care of our lab/pit. She seemed so content and Sleepy Hollow posts daily FB pics of your pet. This country setting is relaxing, clean and overflowing with genuine love for your pets. Our Mia took an immediate liking to the young man who works there. Wish I could remember his name. We adopted a young dog about six months ago right before a trip that we had planned. We took a chance with Sleepy Hollow and have absolutely no regrets! Our sweet Shep has stayed with Melissa and her team three times now and I am so thankful that I don't have to worry about him while we are away. I love that they post pictures and videos for us to see. Everyone is so amazing and I will always highly recommend Sleep Hollow Boarding & Grooming to anyone looking for a safe place to leave their furry friend.

We boarded for the first time both our babies for a week. We were very pleased with the care that they received and will be using them again in the future. We would like to Thank the staff for the care they gave our two fur babies.

Awful groomer our dog had an awful gouge on her neck. Shaved way to close on face. Won't ever return there. She's came home shaken from the visit.

We have boarded our Chocolate Labrador Retriever at Miss Kate’s Bed & Biscuit for the last two years. They do an excellent job with the dogs. They have large fenced in lots (play areas), and segregate the dogs by size. You always worry when boarding your family pet but Miss Kate’s has cameras both inside and out in the play areas that you can access 24/7 via the web. I know our dog is well taken care of as evidenced by seeing him leap into the arms (now this is a 90lb Lab), of one of the young men that work there when I was dropping him off. The young man throws the ball/frisbee to the dogs out in the play area. We tried a couple of boarding places in the area before Miss Kate’s and we were not happy with them. We are glad that we found Miss Kate’s Bed & Biscuit and we highly recommend them should you need a place to board your dog.

As a potential client, I was eager to experience your services firsthand, especially considering the feedback I had received. Unfortunately, I found that the overall organization of the premises was lacking. The atmosphere was chaotic, and it appeared that operations were not being managed effectively. I had hoped for a more seamless experience, but it was clear that the staff, particularly the manager, was struggling to maintain order. This visit has left me with serious doubts about the capability of your team and the quality of service you provide. I believe that there is significant room for improvement in both management and overall organization. While I had approached this visit with an open mind, I regret to say that my experience did not meet my expectations. I appreciate your attention to these matters and hope that you will take steps to address them in the future.

I recently quit Miss Kate’s because I am an animal Lover and do not agree with the way things are run and who it is ”managed” by now. As someone who recently worked here, I would not bring my babies here. There are plenty of better taken care of and honest facilities with more experienced management to bring your pets. 💕🐾 Response to response: Falsely accusing someone of theft because you don’t like what they have to say is not only insane but also wildly unprofessional but I guess that is a continuous pattern for you.

When we moved to Florida, we were very concerned about finding a good place to take our Great Dane on a weekly basis for socialization. My husband and I travel a lot and at times we also need to board our sweet boy, which is always a huge concern for me. We found Miss Kates about two months after moving to Florida and our baby became a regular three days a week with them until we moved this year. For us, Miss Kates is more than just a place they were like family because that’s how they treated us and our boy, Kadim. We came to know the staff by name, and they knew us. I never hesitated to take him any time we had a need and we referred many people there! Not only do they allow the dogs to play with each other but the staff play with them as well; give them love, give them treats, make sure that they’re fed and loved! One thing I learned a long time ago as you can tell a lot about a place by how your dog responds. Kayden came to know when we would turn down the road leading to Miss Kates and would get so excited! We didn’t even need to have him on his leash. He would jump out of the car and run straight inside like, I’m here, I’m here, I’m ready to play! Picking him up and as a different story, he wouldn’t want to leave. ♥️ Kadim made so many new friends, as did we and we miss them greatly! 🐕‍🦺♥️🐾

I saw some people arguing with the owner in the reviews and I want to talk about something the owner said in the replies, she claims that her business is falling because of the "employees" and talking about 6 or 7 employees that she fired due to various reasons, some that don't make sense, and mentioned that she has never let anything happen to a dog in the past 6 years. I would just like to point out that every single one of the employees left a review talking about how the owner was a complete idiot, said she is horrible to the dogs, and is training their new employees to feed the dogs outside (which could be horrible if the dog decides to start playing), etc. To have almost all of your employees that got fired/quit leave a review like that is quite an accomplishment. Now about her saying that she hasn't let anything happen to any of her dogs in the past 6 years, within the past year and a half she has let 2 dogs die as well as one running away. This is an incredible feat to have, it's almost like it's her job to not let that happen. I wouldn't board your dogs here, I've seen first hand how they treat their dogs, trust me you don't want to have your dogs here.

I recently used Miss Kate’s Bed and Biscuit for dog sitting over a holiday weekend, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The customer service was quick and incredibly kind, accommodating my dog on short notice for a two-night stay. From the moment I dropped her off, it was clear that the staff treated her like family. My dog came back home happy and well-cared-for, showing all the signs of having been treated wonderfully. I highly recommend Miss Kate’s Bed and Biscuit for their exceptional care and outstanding service.

Miss Kate's is the best! My dog, Bella, enjoys her time there and I never worry about her when she's there. I wouldn't take her any where else. The staff is wonderful.

What an incredible place! I have five wonderful rescue dogs that are my children and this is the only place I would ever bring them and trust they would get incredible care. Huge enclosures (not cages or kennels) and giant fields for them to run in... And they're taken out every couple hours! Top-notch care and the facility is super clean and the people here are huge animal lovers. Highly recommend!

I don't know what we'd do without Miss Kate's and their wonderful staff. My wife and I work full-time, and having this five paw resort nearby gives us so much peace and joy knowing he's safe and cared for.

Not the same any longer - my pet did not want to stay there which tells you something. Staff turn over is evident and now you have to prepay and give 48 hours notice to pick up early or they will not refund any days not used. This model is the greed which is more improtant than the customer or the well being of your pets so it's the last time we use them.

Red Fern and staff, I want to take the time to say thank you. I am more than satisfied with Red Fern, the staff, all services and how well the facility is run and how clean everything is. Every interaction I've had has been positive and I feel that my dogs are special. Your staff is always smiling, upbeat, and positive. They are excited when my socialized puppy comes in, and very slow and calm when I bring in my adult dog who is not socialized, is high anxiety, who is unsure and scared of everything. While going to daycare and during boarding the staff sent photos and report cards letting me know how they were doing and how much fun they were having. I am so grateful I have a place to bring them where I know they will be taken care of. I will definitely be coming back for daycare and boarding and referring everyone that has doggy needs. I wish I could give Red Fern and its staff more than five stars because this place is truly the best! Had to place our two pups there for an extended two-month board due to a family emergency and they’re having the best time! I can’t begin to put in words the peace of mind you feel as a paw-rent knowing your fur-babies are well cared for. Love the daily photos, videos, report cards too - so you can see them having so much fun & reading about their day. Red Fern also employs the best staff that genuinely love their job and the doggos entrusted into their care. They’re especially great at fulfilling dietary needs, dispensing meds, etc. Andrew, Emily, Savannah, Bryce, Ashley are some of the really great people there. I highly recommend Red Fern - our pups Beau and Lu are so happy and having the best time!

This place is incredible! Our Aussie stayed here 3 nights and 4 days while we were out of town and she told us she loved it. The facility is awesome, spotless and has so many great amenities. There are size-specific indoor and outdoor play areas, a full grooming station, regular and deluxe "rooms," with beds and everything for your pup. The doggy pool will be done soon too which is perfect for this Florida weather. Also a full grooming room is available. Most importantly, DA, Garnett and the staff are incredible and accommodating with great communication and care. Thank you for taking such great care of Shiva!

I have been taking my pup to Red Fern for daycare while I am at work for almost a year now and have had such a great experience. Ever since day one, the staff has been so welcoming and willing to work one on one with her due to socialization issues. I am so happy to have a place like Red Fern for my Quinn to go to and have a blast! Thank you for everything!

Our pup Appa loves Red Fern. He especially loves pool time and group play! As well, grooming always does an amazing job, making sure he comes home looking and smelling his best! He has been enjoying his time there for the past 2 years and will continue to do so! Much love to the Red Fern family, they are the nicest and most caring around!

I seriously can't say enough good things about this place! We have boarded our dog here a couple times now and even have taken her for doggy daycare so she can play with other dogs for a bit. The staff is amazing, so friendly and always willing to answer any question you might have. They listen to concerns and seem to care about my furbaby almost as much as I do! I love that the more we bring our dog here they remember her by her name and seem happy to see her. I was anxious about boarding her and taking her to daycare because we had never done it before but I'm happy we found Red Fern. I also love that they send daily pictures so you can stay updated and see how your pup is doing.

Very clean location with beautiful installations, even a pool. Your dog will be well tended to. As you can see in the picture, Cloé was sad to leave the pool.

11/10!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! They love your pet just as if they are their own. We chose the Top Dog Package for our lab Goose and enjoyed the daily pictures and report cards while we were on vacation. We picked him up at 9:00 a.m. and the groomer already had him bathed and dried by the time we got there (Thank You!!!). The whole experience from dropping him off, to picking him up 10 days later was absolutely amazing. Bryce was extremely professional, helpful, and kind during our initial tour, drop-off and pick-up. Thank you Bryce and to all the staff who took great care of our Goose during his stay!

A few months ahead of a three week trip out of the country, we were introduced to Red Fern. We stopped by one Sunday just to see what the place looked like and were surprised to see it open and bustling with employees. (Our Vet offers boarding but one person comes in on a Sunday just to feed the dogs). Unannounced, Ashley offered to give us a quick tour and we met other employees, saw the facilities, and got to see a bunch of happy guest. Needless to say, that day we knew this was a night and day difference to boarding with our Vet. We took our pups for daycare a few times before the trip, just to get them acclimated to the place. By the third visit, they were all excited to be there. They absolutely love this place and so do we, AND WE’RE PICKIE WHEN IT COMES TO OUR PUPS. When it came time to board we used their daily photo service and received photos, each and every day, and even a couple of weekly report cards, a summary of how each did that week. Bottom line, I hope they don’t change a thing. This is a top notch place, offering services at reasonable prices. Best of all, they offered us peace of mind while we traveled. By the way, while boarding our youngest had her one year birthday. The Staff celebrated with her by giving her a special whip cream bowl!! Thank you Red Fern and Staff!

We absolutely love this establishment & especially the staff!!!! We had to board our boy Moose for the 1st time ever when we came to Ocala, my father was in the hospital & my in-laws did not want our dog at their house because they have cats. So we found Red Fern & I’m so thankful we did! My father ended up having to go to hospice & passing away. Red Fern’s staff was amazing through our difficult time! We originally planned to be there just a few days but with the circumstances it ended up being over a week. Then when we came back for the funeral we had to board him again and again they were just as amazing!! They were so helpful and understanding at Red Fern. Knowing our sweet boy was being so well taken care of relieved a huge stress from us! I am now needing to board my dog in another part of Florida and wishing I had a place like Red Fern!! They really are special and now that we are needing a boarding service again we see just how wonderful Red Fern is! Thank you for being such a great, well kept, fun and loving environment for our fur baby! (The pictures I attached are some they text me along with updates of how he was doing while he was staying there.)

Just picked up our dog, Drew, who was happily out playing with the other dogs! When we got there, Kathy let me see where Drew would be staying. The room was spacious and very clean. It is a bit of a drive for us to drop her off, but well worth it. The price is excellent and includes play time, she does have some nice extras that you can add on…we added a peanut butter Kong each day . We are headed home now and our dog appears happy and well cared for…see you next time!

We have been going to BTT for 6 years now and it’s so sad to say that we will not be going back. It was clean in the beginning now it should get O- Stars. We love that our pets are treated well there. Our dog was so happy when we made the turn to go into their driveway but happy to get home. The owner is very knowledgeable about pet care but maybe not in the up keeping of her facility. Wishing them well in the future. Maggie S.

Our rescue dog Peanut has had three owners and has been in three shelters before we adopted her. Bedtime Tails is exceptional. Peanut had her own private room with a raised platform type bed which we put her pet bed on top. She was taken out 5 time each day to play with dogs her own size. The last outdoor play time is around 8 pm at night. For a small fee they will give your pet extra attention and even doggie ice cream (the treat is not really ice cream and has no sugar. Specially made for dogs) Peanut got here treat at noon. She had her own dog food twice a day along with a little doggie ice cream at noon. A few of her dog biscuits after each play time. If you are looking for a caring facility to look after your cat or dog while you are away for a day(s), week or more this is a great choice. Peanut will be a regular customer when every we need someone to look after her when we can not.

Josey always returns happy and sleepy after a stay with Kathy at Bedtime tails. Bath nails and ears are a great way to finish off her stay. We are confident she's getting great care while we're away. Our previous dog Faith stayed many times over the years. Thanks Kathy and all else who look after our girl, Josey!

We just moved to the Villages and have a 10 year old Weimaraner (JD). We brought JD to BTT for 9 nights. When we picked her up she was happy and very healthy. Thank you BTT for taking care of her. We will be returning soon. Keep up the good work.

My dog Bella has severe separation anxiety and can be nervous around other dogs. I do not use a pet boarding service often, but life happens and occasionally we need someone to look after her. We have tried so many places and have always ended up with horrible results - isolation, anxiety, days of recovery, and even throwing up and bloody stools. But now I finally found Ms. Cathy! She listened to our story and was willing to work with us to help keep Bella as comfortable as possible, and without tranquilizers. This is the first time I have been separated from Bella and had no issues. She was her normal self when I picked her up and I could tell from her behavior she had been well cared for. I highly recommend Bedtime Tails! I may even plan another a trip in the near future. :)

My first choice was booked so I asked for a recommendation. Bedtime Tails was one of the recommended places. They offered a tour which I really enjoyed seeing where my pup was going to be for 10 days. If my dog could talk, I think she'd say she had a great time. She came back looking healthier than before we dropped her off and happy. I took advantage of the additional services they offer, so when I picked up my little one she was smelling good, with cut nails and her ears cleaned. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be using them again as my first choice when the time comes.

I left my 11 year old rescue poodle with Cathy for 4 days. My dog takes a LOT of medicine. Cathy took excellent care of her and I am very grateful for the time I had to get out of town for a while. I hesitated leaving her in a kennel, but Cathy seems to run an excellent facility. UPDATE Second visit...Amber is now 12 and even more fragile. I left her even longer. This poodle is a rescue that requires a lot of care...old and fragile. Cathy returned her in PERFECT condition. Yes she is a lot of work, but Cathy and staff did it perfectly.

My boy Simba spent the weekend here. He doesn't always get along well with other dogs (possessive and protective of his family). They said they would see how he did and if he had any issues they would change him to alone outings. Well! He did amazing and got to spend a bunch of time playing with other dogs in a happy and healthy environment. Will definitely be using again.

I have to say Carol and her wonderful crew at Preppy Pet are absolutely top notch in too many ways to list. They are amazing with my special needs (deaf 100lb Great Dane puppy) and it's obvious that they are all TRULY dog lovers. I'm somewhat special needs myself with crazy work schedule and they have been unbelievably accommodating in that regard as well. I can't say enough good things about the great people at Preppy Pet but I couldn't be happier with them.

Very affordable compared to a lot of other boarding facilities around. Dogs get to play the whole day and go outside in their mini pool as well. Staff is also great and will send you pictures on a daily basis.

My 70 lb mix goes to Preppy Pet for some play time and a bath. I drive nearly 20 miles to take her there. She knows where we are going (when I ask if she wants to go to the doggy place), and she sits up the entire way there (instead of lying down in the back seat). She gets kind of forlorn if we don't go there for a while. I found PP when searching for a weekend boarding. It is not easy to find places for larger dogs. They are considerate and pleasant people. The prices are reasonable, and they do the whole pooch (nails and ears). Thanks, Carol and crew.

Had our 2 dogs at preppy pet for 2 weeks! They took great care of them. Came home well adjusted and fit right back into the family routine. We also thought the pricing was great!

Affordable and were accommodating to what we needed, esp. With such a last minute request. Would use for my cat and easier dogs, but wouldn't suggest for my harder dogs (e.g. my primitive breeds). I use Central FL k9 for them, as they are just overall a different ballgame then most dogs. Staff was friendly and the owners are very nice. Will use again when needed :-)

We drop off our hound dog Dickens for daycare, boarding, and grooming whenever he needs some “away” time. Preppy Pet takes great care of him! Dickens always enjoys his time with Preppy Pet. The staff are sweet with him and friendly to us. Better yet, their rates are very reasonable. If your furry friend needs some time away from home, Preppy Pet in Leesburg is an excellent option. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, last time we will bring the dogs over. Never had an issue before (at least that I was aware of) until this weekend. One of my dogs came home scared to death. Didn't want to go outside or come to us when called which it has NEVER been like him, ever. My dog is very expressive so I know in my heart something happened.

I drive from Ocala to Leesburg twice a week and bring my buddy with me because he likes going on drives, and I drop him off at Preppy Pet where he has lots of fun with his friends while I am working. What I like about this place is I can tell that the owners and people working there really do love dogs, and they will keep him safe. Also they do nice things like take holiday pictures with each dog and I like to post them to my Facebook page where they are always a big hit. I recommend this place.

I came to Preppy Pet because I needed a dremel to file down my teacup Yorkie’s declaws. I called in to inquire & the gentleman on the phone said that I could stop in and he’d take a look. And didn’t even charge me (it was only to file down 2 tiny puppy nails)! Super cool & I’ll be returning :)
