Tambi
I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the woodsy cabin with Paco and Maggie. They were very affectionate, fun dogs. Tambi provided detailed instructions that made everything go smoothly. Her home was clean and comfortable. The only problem was poor cell phone coverage. I would love to return and would recommend this sit.

I had such a wonderful time looking after Piper! She’s a very entertaining cat and makes sure you never feel alone;)
Isobel is an excellent host, and her home is lovely. I’ll never forget the Easter weekend I got to spend in this ambiance!

What a pleasure to house sit in an amazing house with such lovely pets.
You will enjoy the 3 level deck situated on a canal, the top level gives great sky views in all directions which makes for great viewing of approaching storms and night time stars. The lowest level has a ramp for playing fetch with Stormy who gladly jumps into the water to retrieve, and comes back up the ramp. Kristi graciously allowed me to use her paddle board, which I lowered right into the water from her deck. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with anything you might need or want. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.
Stormy is a friendly, obedient and snuggly dog. I used Kristi's golf cart to take her to the beach, where Stormy does very well off-leash because playing fetch is her favorite activity. It's great fun to watch her dashing into the water to retrieve her ball, and we never had a problem with any person or animal we came upon.
The cats, Sophie and Sasha, are sweet but much more shy, and mostly stay hidden in their favorite corners of the house. Their food, water and liter box are all automatic, so caring for them was minimal.
I arrived at Kristi's house a couple of hours early for the sit, so Kristi could comprehensively show and demonstrate the procedures for the house, pets and beach. The welcome guide is thorough and her explanations were easy to understand. Kristi also introduced me to a neighbor who was happy to answer questions for me.
It's possible to reach a grocery store, liquor store and bar/restaurants by golf cart. It's the only vehicle I used while doing this house sit.
This is a wonderful house sitting situation which I highly recommend!

It was an honor to have my first house/pet sit in Albuquerque with Lomas. Steven & Liz left me detailed information that was discussed prior to the sit, asking with recommendations of where to go nearby for authentic New Mexican food (as I was already there for a poetry festival for things to do around town). While independent, Lomas did make me feel at home as well; she enjoys hanging in the backyard between meals & is independent. Steven & Liz are great hosts to have, along with a wonderful home tucked away in a lovely neighborhood, and I would love to sit for them again when I manage to make it back that way!

We loved to take care of the dogs, cats and chickens. Charlotte and Charlton are good hosts and the communication went very well. The house is comfortable with stunning views. Although it could be a bit isolated for some people. We can recommend this sit to other sitters.
