Lucy and Jerilyn were fantastic from first contact to end :) I arrived the day before their trip and was shown around the local neighbourhood, the best gelateria and some gorgeous parks for walking Wini, and to get into the rhythm of her and Dazzle’s daily routine. Both Wini and Dazzle are very easy going and were extremely affectionate. I spent a lot of time in the centre with Wini, who was a fantastic travel companion 🤍 Missing her very much! The apartment is very well equipped and is the perfect place to work, chill - and as a base for exploring Rome. I would definitely sit for Lucy and Jerilyn again xx
I had an incredible and learning experience staying at this lovely treehouse on the outskirts of DC, where I had the opportunity to care for the adorable pets and chickens. The location itself is a captivating sight, surrounded by lush trees. The house's unique layout, resembling a charming ship, provides a great opportunity to understand creative architecture and design concepts. The retro style and old-time charm in the decor give insight into historical interior design trends. Moreover, the ample space and natural light in the house not only create a warm and inviting atmosphere but also provide an excellent environment to learn about the significance of natural lighting in sustainable and energy-efficient architecture. As a bonus, the presence of a piano adds an artistic dimension to the experience. As a music enthusiast myself, I was lucky to explore my creativity and improve my piano skills during my stay. Caring for the pets and chickens also comes with its educational benefits. Interacting with Maple, the talkative cat, offers an understanding of feline behavior and communication, while the other outdoor cats provide insights into their adaptation to outdoor living. Additionally, tending to the chickens and collecting fresh eggs daily is a fantastic opportunity to learn how responsible animal care can be organised and its role of domesticated animals in sustainable living practices. The enchanting garden, adorned with cherry tomatoes, various herbs, and fruit trees, offers a hands-on experience in gardening and horticulture. I am also grateful for the comprehensive instructions provided by Geo and the assistance in covering some expenses after the storm. This experience has not only been delightful but also a valuable learning opportunity in responsible pet care, sustainable living, and appreciation of nature's wonders. All in all, staying in this charming treehouse has been an enriching journey, filled with warmth, charm, and lovely companions, making it a truly unforgettable and educational experience. I am already eagerly looking forward to the possibility of returning someday to continue my exploration and learning in this remarkable setting.
Judith and Peter were very gracious and accommodating hosts. They know what it takes to make their guests to feel comfortable. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in their beautiful home and guest house and care for their lovely animals. They left excellent instructions for us. The animals are easy to connect with. Cookie's favorite thing is to play fetch - and you must do so many times a day. (And if you do she will love you forever.) Chips is more on the mellow side - he just likes to hang out. He is so loving (he will just burrow into you). The horses are gentle - they love attention and getting groomed. We had no trouble bringing them in from the pasture, etc. The area has many quaint medieval villages with castles and markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the tranquility of the beautiful surroundings.
A highly recommended sit! Romanek is a sweet boy, he follows you around, and keeps you company, as you work. The flat is cozy and centrally located, I could walk everywhere I wanted to get to. There's a very nice park nearby for walks with an audiobook or whatever you're into. Danuta has been helpful and easy to communicate with, she left clear instructions, making this sit a really great one. Happy to come back for another round anytime.
Absolutely loved this sit. Jumbo is a real lap cat, with lots of personality. Danni and George were really great at communicating the whole time. I'd love to sit for Jumbo again in the future

I have experiences on boarding my 🐕's in locations were they are professional, expensive and trusted but they were never personal with the dogs. They will not take individual time to understand their single needs and to give them special attention and love. With LuxandPhi I found everything my dogs needs at a great price. They are so personal with my babies. Was about to head out for some travel recently, and completely did not realize that my travel spanned a major holiday weekend, and my usual boarder was completely at capacity. We are in Austin on vacation with our pups, we wanted to do a few things that were not pet friendly so we needed to find a doggie daycare. The Firehouse pet resort was definitely a great choice. Everyone there was awesome, they gave our pups the attention they needed (and a little extra!) Would highly recommend them to anyone in need of care for their fur babies.
I've been going to Firehouse for a few years now, I'm not sure what took me so long to add a review. I absolutely LOVE their team. I was taking my newly adopted kitty, Tapi, to them and was trying to diagnose what was wrong with her, and it turned out she had cancer. It is a horrific phone call to receive, but it is so comforting to know the doctors cared about her. When we came in to help her pass, Dr. Moreman and Dr. Davies were both there and their words were beyond comforting. The vet tech, I'm so sorry I forgot her name, stayed with us the whole time as well. Though it was challenging, it was so much easier to go through. Then our corgi recently was diagnosed with IVDD and we had the wonderful help of Dr. Garza to help us fully understand what was happening and how to help her through it. She then recommended acupuncture with Dr. Tran and we saw a difference in her healing after every appointment. They saw all of my tears and were extremely comforting. I have seen most of their vets and I can tell you with my whole heart that I absolutely trust them with my pets. ❤️
As an r+ certified dog trainer, this is the only boarding facility I trust in north Austin. They typically go above and beyond and have the utmost safety practices for each dog. The staff are friendly, and the peace of mind from knowing the animal hospital is next door is priceless.
I really wanted to love this place since I use the vet services and am happy with that. However, my pup came home damp and smelling like urine and I was charged $45 dollars for a nail trim! That is more than it costs for daycare! I should have been told what the cost would be ahead of time if you're going to charge outrageous prices like that for a nail trim. I will take responsibility for not asking though and just assuming it would be like every other boarding facility I've taken my pups to. The most I've ever been charged for a nail trim is between $15-25. That was very disappointing. Not to mention the fact that I had to bathe him when I got home because of the urine smell. Other boarding facilities that I have been pleased with usually wipe down your pet before they release them to you. I did give 3 stars though because my pup seemed happy when I picked him up and the staff seemed friendly enough. I just think there needs to be some changes implemented before I say I would bring my pup back here again for daycare or boarding.
I want to express my gratitude to the Firehouse pet resort and veterinarian staff for taking care of my baby Dotty. Dotty stayed with them for 2 weeks. This was our first time with this place, I did not know what to expect. I was anxious. However, all my concerns very addressed and she was well taken care of. They even cooked special food for her as she refused to eat. Thank you!
Update: Firehouse has made great efforts in making this situation right. The manager reached out and promised they are working to make the next stay better. I am happy to know that they care to make it right. Looking forward to seeing this new department grow. Original review: Really hoped this place would have been better since it is associated with our vet. We still love our vet and will stay with firehouse but there needs to be some major adjustments to the kennel! Both our pets can home filthy ( backsides covered in fecal matter) beds too. It took 40 mins to check in and 40mins to check out. They had to retrieve our stuff (beds/food/snacks) a blanket that was never given to our cold pup and bones safe for the kennel that were never given.. they were still in their package. Didn’t give dental bones and pretty positive by the dried Fecal matter on both the backside and on one of the beds that wasn’t washed yet was extremely dry and was clearly there for several days. I plan to make a personal phone call to notice management but I would like to do it in person because I feel it’s needed. My wife cried when she got home and our oldest small dog lost her voice for … going on 3 days now. I want people to know and I think it’s important to get this out there ASAP ! I still stand by the vet but I will not stand by this kennel operation I think it has great potential but it definitely needs a new management or some sort of organization skills. Extremely unorganized .
I love this resort for my fur babies! Not only did they take excellent care of my really energetic doggo (she came home exhausted) the entire process was a breeze! The staff are nothing short of superb, you can tell they love their jobs and love the animals. Worth every penny in my opinion. They were also able to take on my dog on super short notice, I was on my way there, during the snowpocalypse last week. I couldn’t say enough good thing about this place. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for both day car and boarding in the future. Thank you y’all for taking such good care of my baby!!

I take my little monster here once or twice a year; he always seems to enjoy himself and is healthy and happy at pickup. I use the vet too, and it’s nice that they are in the same area.

Our dog Tito is a regular for weekend boarding and daycare. We absolutely love the pictures and content they post to stay up to date with your dog while they are away. Some of our best pictures of our dog are from his stays at Pawsitive Purrfection. Tim an Megan treat every dog like their own and become part of the family. Every time we arrive our dog is so excited to be dropped off. We highly recommend for anyone who wants a safe and caring place to leave their dog.
My pup Rona’s favorite place to go! She generally is slow to warm to strangers but loved Megan and Tim from the second she walked in her first day two years ago. Megan and Tim are kind, professional, caring, and all around wonderful. I will be a customer forever!

Megan and Tim are the best of the best. I was referred to PP by a coworker and before I booked a visit with them, he showed me how active they were on Instagram and how many pictures/updates they sent him while his dog was staying with them. They have created an amazing environment where they treat all the dogs who stay with them like their very own! Their enormous back yard, play structures/toys, comfy furniture and straightforward and fun doggy routine are just some of the reasons why my pup always gets so excited when he gets a PP vacation! I'm so thankful I've found them; they are the only place I feel totally confident leaving my dog for longer trips where I know he'll be 100% loved and taken care of. Megan and Tim used to watch our lab, Callie, and they were the absolute best! Callie always looked like she had the best time at their house. We have since moved away and have missed Pawsitive Purrfection every time someone else watches our pup! They run a super organized business and truly love the animals they watch. They are very creative with their activities for the pups, give them love and attention, great playtime, pawesome doggy pawties, and more! I love that they always keep you in the loop with all their IG stories—you get to see snippets of all fun action <3. Our dogs usually don't wag their tails when we take them boarding we have tried several places then find Camp Bow Wow!! They are excited and go right in, pretty sure they forget about is to we pick them. That's how much they live this place! service is excellent someone always greets you within a min or 2 of entering facility always with a smile and very helpful. We can watch our pup's on the facility camera anytime and always see there's someone in the play yard and they are wagging their tails. Camp bow wow is the best.
Camp Bow Wow is so far the best doggy daycare. The employees that we talk to we're super nice. I loved that they have a cameras so you can see your pet play in the playground with other dogs. It was very clean. Our Lita had a wonderful time. I will definitely be bringing her back again. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for treating our baby Lita like she was your own pet.
I absolutely love that they have cameras inside their playgrounds! I can always check on how my dog is doing whenever I need to leave her. Also love that they give you report cards on whether or not they have eaten and how they have behaved throughout their stay. The staff is also very sweet, kind and helpful, you can tell they truly love dogs ♥️ It is truly by far the best place I’ve ever left my fur baby.
Camp Bow Wow is my number one choice for dog care! The front staff (especially Melissa!) is kind, informative, and always makes me feel comfortable dropping my pup off. It can always be hard trusting others with our fur babies but I can tell how they interact with the dogs and that my dog is safe! The cameras are just that extra bonus. They have recently started a calendar of events which I feel like keeps the dogs engaged after being there for a day or two. The instragram posts always puts a smile on my face when I start missing my pup too!
Very easy to set up an interview day. The staff were very patient and sweet with my very nervous 8 month old puppy. Love the cameras and ability to check on her throughout the day. Great experience and we’ll be back!!
I bring my English Bulldog puppy to CBW regularly! Most importantly, I feel he is being watched over and safe! But also the humans are animal lovers and you can see it when you walk in to the Camp! Great team! Their live stream is a perfect way to watch my Berchy play and interact with other dogs 🐾!!

My pup’s first day was today, and I can tell he loved it!!!! First time trying Camp Bow Wow out, and I’m glad I did! First timers will need to go through an interview, which was kind of nervous for me, knowing my dog is a very hyper pup! Seems he passed because he was living his life from the camera feed! Oh, that’s right! You can watch your pup play from their website and app! I also learned they also feed your pup during the day (if you choose that option), which is a plus. Many of the other day camps do not offer that option, which surprised me! We will definitely be back!!!
I loved the interview process! My pup was turned away from my establishments because of his breed and he is the sweetest boy ever. I appreciate how caring and accepting Camp Bow Wow was to us. I like how flexible they are which is why I come here.
Would give 10 stars if I could. The Pet Gal goes above and beyond to care for your pets. They watched our cats for short trips and long trips (2+ weeks). Never once did I worry about them. All of their sitters take the time to get to know each pet and gain their trust. You get detailed updates and many photos each day. We opted for 1 hour visits twice a day to give our cats plenty of time to relax and play with the sitters. Our cats always seemed happy and calm when we returned - not stressed at all. I am a veterinarian and see the unfortunate things that can happen when you trust sitters with your pets (pets not being fed or watered, not catching illness, etc), so I know how important it is to have someone you trust. I feel so lucky to have found this company to watch the most important things in my life!
We have been relying upon The Pet Gal for about a decade. They always give our pets exemplary care with great communication and photos with every visit. In Fall of 2021 we went to Maui with our kids and I made the poor decision to leave our dogs out in the house while nobody was there. Our Bull Terrier, Charlotte, ate two large, toxic, plants. Our Pet Gal for that visit found her in distress and took her to our vet hospital. We couldn’t get back for another day or so and when we got to see her the vet told us that she was not likely to survive. She did survive after surgery and has both liver and kidney damage but she is still with us 3 years later thanks to The Pet Gal. I will not mention the name of the particular Pet Gal who saved Charlotte in this public review but we are eternally grateful to her! We go on lots of cruises which means that we may not always be accessible and certainly have a limited ability to deal with emergencies. We trust that The Pet Gal will keep our pets safe and happy. I highly recommend this business as one that you can trust to with the safety and well being of your pets.
Chelsea exceeded our expectations in every way. This was our first time leaving our German Shepherds, who are used to spending 90% of their day with us. From the very first meet and greet, Chelsea's incredible patience and friendliness won them over. Her consistent and reassuring communication while we were away gave us immense peace of mind. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We have a small older dog and we haven’t traveled without her in years. We recently went away for almost a week. Our experience with The Pet Gal was simply stellar. We received lots of notes and photos while we were gone, and it was clear throughout that our dog Bella felt relaxed and happy in her Pet Gal Sarah’s care. All of Bella’s needs were addressed beautifully.. and this allowed us to relax, too, enjoying our time away. Services were easy to arrange; reasonably & fairly priced, too. Communication is excellent. We highly recommend!
I have been using The Pet Gal for several years now and found they are the most dependable caring people. They really get to know your Pets. They even sometimes clean my leaf basket in my pool. My neighbors even know The Pet Gal and some of them use them too. When my neighbors are using the Pet Gals, I always go over to speak with them and say hello. They are like a part of our neighborhood. I hope this Covid has not hurt their business because when I can start taking vacations again I plan to use them again!!

We decided to give The PetGals a chance, after other arrangements for our pets were not ideal. I was a bit worried about our dog, as he is apprehensive around strangers. But, after his introduction, and learning the routine, he has been happy. The PetGals have also been very cost effective, as our other pets are cared for as well, and they all get to remain in their home environment. Highly recommend this service.
We ❤️ Fur Your Pets! Erica and Cody are the best, not only at taking care of your furkids, but genuinely caring for your pets. They came out today to help us look for our dog who had gotten out this morning; I was near tears when they offered to stop by and look for him. We found him and it just cements my 100% trust in Erica and Cody in caring for our dog, Petey, every day.
My fur baby loves Erica and Cody staycations. Our bunny also gets pampered by home visits when we’re away. All of our trips are worry-free knowing our pets are well taken care of. Updated pics throughout the stay shows Luna always having a blast!!
As a new dog owner and searching for a sitter to care for my dog,’it was a long and difficult process. Places like hotels would just make my dog think I abandoned him. But, I found Fur Pets and spoke with them about my dog’s anxieties. A meet up was scheduled and they knew exactly how to approach my dog. Consistent bi-weekly walks are scheduled and when we went out of town for a week, my dog was walked and looked in on daily with no problems. Now he returns home from his walks happy and proud of himself! Definitely, would recommend this service for pet sitting.
I have used Fur Your Pets, Erica, twice now and each time I remind myself to write a review! Well, the first time I met Erica, she came to the house to meet my Basset Hound and Shih Tzu - I have never seen Sam, the Basset take to someone outside his family so quickly, he absolutely LOVES Erica. We have also dubbed her the "Sam Whisperer" as she can get him to take medicine like no one else!! (lol). Erica stayed at the house for a weekend that I had to go out of town. She sent pictures often and when I came home, the two fur family members were so relaxed and happy! Well, Sam, was sad that she left, but that's good, too! Erica is very, very trustworthy and takes great care of animals. She even did other things like water the plants outside and things like that! It was wonderful. It's the very first time I had someone in my home for a weekend to watch the dogs that wasn't family and it was absolutely no issue at all. :) The second time was when I had to go out of town just for the day and it was kind of last minute, but Erica came through!! Sam was so happy to see her as well. My Shih Tzu also loves her. Anyway, I just have to tell you all that I would trust Erica in my home, with my pets any time!!! She is absolutely wonderful! Update - I still use Fur Your Pets and Erica - she is family to my Bassett Hound, Shih Tzu, and 2 very large cats... they love her!!!

Our older dog needed medication and the occasional accident and they were great with dealing with that. Can’t say enough great things about them. It’s super hard to trust your home and pet to someone and when we found them it was such a huge weight off us to have someone we trust.
My husband & I went away for a one week vacation and left our two dogs with Erica and Cody. We received daily updates with pictures and our fur babies were well taken care of. We plan on using them again in the future. Both of our pups loved their stay and I highly recommend Fur Your Pets to anyone looking for trust worthy people to watch your fur babies.
Fur your pets is the most professional and trustworthy pet sitters you will ever find. I went through a ton of sitters and some were fine, some were awful, but Fur your pets was way above what anyone could expect. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with Erica snd entrusting her with my house. I have never been able to feel totally comfortable leaving my pups with anyone. With Fur your pets, I literally felt zero worry. I didn’t think this could ever happen or that a company like this even existed… but it does. My dogs were happy, loved and snuggled. The directions I gave were followed perfectly ( even though we don’t expect perfection) and Erica was great at dealing with my elderly dog who needed meds and special considerations. I got lots of pics of my happy smiling dogs. Professional, compassionate, communicative, reliable and so so easy to work with. Erica was extremely observant and asked about any behavior in the dogs that she thought might be different than usual. My experience was 100% perfect. I feel like this is the holy grail of dog sitters, and… they are just really nice humans too.
Erica offered me great peace of mind through my two-week vacation. I have an old cat, Cyril, who needs daily medication. A few weeks before my trip, he had some appetite issues and had his dosage upped to twice a day. I'm always a bit anxious to leave Cyril for a long period of time, and especially so under the circumstances. With Erica, I quickly felt comfortable knowing that Cyril was being well looked after. During each pop-in visit, she was perceptive in monitoring his food intake and sent me many pictures so I could see how he was feeling every day. We worked together to adjust the details of his care based on what she was noticing. Erica also worked to make a genuine connection with Cyril, and within a week, my shy kitty went from seeing her as the scary meds lady to giving her his belly to rub. (Pictures from her last visit are attached!) I came home to find that my skinny boy had even successfully gained weight under Erica's care! I couldn't be happier about the care Cyril received while I was gone. I highly recommend Erica @ Fur Your Pets.
Taurus Academy McNeil is the only place I would take my dog for daycare, boarding, or grooming. My dog used to be the most shy and secure dog, but she has blossomed after going to daycare at Taurus. The staff there have always been the most friendly people. My dog and Billy are best friends they just have the best time together. I know that when I drop my dog off at Taurus that is she is going to be well taken care of and loved. They even threw her a birthday party when she turned one year old.
This place is Amazing 😍 I have brought my pets here over the last several years and it's a wonderful place that truly cares about the happiness and well being of your pet(s). I had a Basseet Hound (Mackie) and a Great P/Pointer mix ( Domino) who are no longer with us and they Loved this place and now almost 10 years later we have Lidi and she just had her first experience at Taurus/McNeil and she had a wonderful time and made some new paw 😊🐾🐾 friends. Thank you for always being there for me and my pups ❤️🐶❤️.
I can not recommend Taurus McNeill enough! The staff are always so sweet and friendly! Both my pup and the staff are equally as excited to see one another whenever we go to drop off for either daycare or boarding! My dog has a lot separation anxiety but he feels completely comfortable whenever he is there! Please visit, you and your dog won’t regret it! :)

I can't say enough good things about Taurus Academy! I brought my dog, a stray I found with severe separation anxiety and a fear of men, to their 2-week board and train program. As someone with little experience in dog training, I struggled to address her anxiety and fear issues on my own. But the team at Taurus, especially my dog's trainer Chloe, was incredible. Chloe worked wonders with her, helping her build confidence and make significant progress in just a short amount of time. I saw a complete transformation in my dog—she became calmer, more relaxed, and even more trusting of people, including men. Since the board and train program, I’ve continued bringing her to Taurus for doggie daycare, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The staff are always caring and attentive, and I can tell my dog enjoys her time there. I am beyond grateful for all the care and support they’ve given my dog and me. After trying out many daycares, I finally feel like I’ve found “the one”! My experience with Taurus Academy has been a 10/10 thus far. My pup Wesley had a great first day and it was so nice to actually receive updates on how he was doing throughout the day. I received several photos and a full report card for his evaluation day by 12:30pm and they even followed up with a phone call from the afternoon shift lead. It was so nice to have a facility actually follow through with the things they advertise. My little guy can be a bit skittish around new people and new things but he looked very happy in his photos and very happy when I picked him up after his first day. We look forward to many more great visits with Taurus. Thank you guys for truly caring about my dogs experience! Would highly recommend.
The whole staff has been so wonderful. We sent Ofi to the 2 week board and train and were updated daily about her progress. I’d highly recommend Chloe, Carlos, and the rest of the staff.
The folks here are amazing. I'm currently fostering a dog named Frank, and I took him here for daycare and training. Chloe (his trainer) totally changed our life at home with him and was so thoughtful, approachable, and attentive. The folks at this location also helped me get great photos and videos of Frank for his adoption advertising. Their investment in helping us find him a good him still makes me tear up, and I am so so proud he got to spend his time there. Everyone I met was incredible!
My dog has been going here for almost 4 yrs. She loves being there plus she gets to play with her brother. Billy who runs this place is awesome, the whole staff are wonderful and helpful.
Always awesome service and my dog loves it here. Wish their online booking could have same day function but that’s the only thing. My bf started going here at a different location and the process of changing over has been seamless and no decrease in quality. Super awesome and love the offerings for my dog. This is an excellent place. Our dog is super high energy and not the easiest to deal with. Bryana really exceeded our expectations. This place is veteran owned and they really help with your schedule for example I had to drop him off kind of early for my job and she met me there. I highly recommend this place and we will be using it again and again.
I met Lisa when I first moved to Austin with my two pups and as soon as we met I knew my dogs were in good hands. She is great with all dogs. Especially mine since they aren’t always well behaved. She always checks in and sends pictures which I love. Highly recommended!

My experience with Laurel's Leash has been amazing. Her knowledge about dogs & their behavior is impressive and she's extremely personable & responsive. Both of my dogs have very different personalities & she was able to work with them individually with a variety of techniques to get the desired outcome with each. I love Laurel's Leash. I know whenever I leave my little dog with Laurel she will be looked after, kept happy and loved. Laurel is very good at what she does and the dogs thrive with her. She is an excellent dog trainer and is an even better people trainer. I am able to work with my dog with Laurel's advice and some of her bad habits have been replaced with good behaviors. I enjoy the frequent pictures Laurel posts on Facebook. It is a handy way for me to check-in. The communication is very good and I have come to trust that I don't need worry when I'm away.

Laurel is an amazing dog trainer - and she's hilarious and fun to boot! Laurel has helped me with my Cairn Terrier, Teddy, who has some leash reactivity issues. With her help, he's getting to the point where he's almost like a "normal" dog when we take him for walks, haha. We've also some agility training with Laurel and our mini Aussie, Beau, and we've had both the dogs board with her for short time periods. Laurel's Leash is great!
I have a petite 13 yr old boxer who Laurel watch one weekend in October of 2018. As soon as we first walked into the door we were greeter with a huge smile and warm welcome. Laurel’s Leash is a wonderful place for my Border Collie. She’s great about sending pictures or videos of the fun time my dog is having. She is so knowledgeable of the various breeds and what their personalities are like. I have learned so much from her about obedience. She genuinely loves dogs and taking care of them!

There is so much comfort knowing both my girls are always very well taken care of when we drop them off at The Doghouse. They go in super happy and come home super tired which is awesome! When I first started looking for a place for my 2 pups to go when we are out of town, I wanted a place that would feel like they were at home without being home. The Doghouse is perfect for them because they get to wander inside and outside as they please and sleep in their crates at night. To know they are not trapped in a kennel all day long makes this mama’s heart happy. Thank you Laurel for loving the crazies!
