We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit near Saltash. Cello was a very relaxed Labrador and easy to look after. Situated in an area that is great to explore both locally in the Tamar valley, and slightly farther afield being between Bodmin and Dartmoor areas with great potential for walks and views and the coast with some amazing beaches. Heugh and Fiona were very organised about everything required and communication was always prompt and clear. We had a great time.
The stay was really great. They had a guest room for my stay. The flat is spacious and clean and has all you can ask for. It was perfect for me since it even had an office room. The pets were on their best behavior. There is a big nature area next to the flat to walk the dogs and a really big dog park to let the dogs off leash. The dogs could easy stay at home alone for a few hours. Five minutes to the metro which takes you in 10min to the city center. The communications was very good too. Not to demanding but always happy for a small update.
I wish I could give more stars for this housesit! Ute & Marc were incredibly kind hosts as I was on summer holiday to Germany! This will be my most memorable and favorite housesit by far. I felt very much at home, and it was an extremely warm and welcoming experience. I had an opportunity to spend time with Ute & Marc through sharing meals and even being part of a local concert! The dogs, Eno & Ellie, are very sweet and well-behaved. They love to be with you while you are sitting for them, and they are very good at taking walks (and letting you know when they’d like to go outside)! The neighborhood is very quiet and picturesque, and there’s so much nature to see. It’s a great getaway for any digital nomad, and those who would like to have an adventure within Germany! One thing to note, especially if you are not bringing a vehicle, make sure to check the timetables for public transport throughout Stralsund. It’s a good and reliable service but you have to check when it runs so you don’t miss a connection (it’s very punctual!) Overall, I’d be happy to housesit for them again!
It was an absolute delight looking after Ben and Blossom while Marion and her family were on their holiday. The kitties are so easy to look after and a joy to be around, Blossom is the sociable one but Ben is sure to come to you, rubbs his head and body against you at times and especially when there is a treat in store. :))) The house is very clean and cosy, and close enough to town to walk into. Cheltenham is a lovely place and Pittville Park is beautiful and just down the road from the house. Although we didn't meed Marion in person all communications were good and instructions clear and easy. Nothing was wanting. It's 5 Stars from us. :)
Tom and Victoria welcomed me perfectly in their home. Great dog lovers and healthy people! The dogs adopted mine in the wolf pack immediately 😃 Both very well trained, they were so easy to sit and walk. The cats are also very quiet, a great pleasure thank you
