Dog Sitters in Welwyn

Bev is a delight and we would recommend her to everyone! She helped us load our car (we were self catering so there was a lot!) and tried to make sure we didn’t forget anything. Nina, who had previously been as good as gold at Christmas, decided that a good game was climbing the tree and batting the baubles and tinsel. Poor Bev had to spend a lot of her time retrieving things and putting them out of harms way. She sent us some lovely pictures - Nina in the tree for example, so we could see exactly what our naughty little girl was up to. We came back to a clean, tidy house, an orchid to replace the poinsettia I had killed as I was leaving and all the laundry done. We hope that Bev will consider sitting for us again and have no hesitation in recommending her. Thank you Bev.

Maddison took exceptional care of our apartment, garden, our two cats and our corn snake. From the first communication Maddison was professional and organised. It was clear that she had spent some time reading our profile to familiarise herself with our needs before reaching out to us. It was clear from our communication that Maddison was serious about housesitting for us and that she had researched the area. During the sit, Maddison kept us regularly updated on the health and wellbeing of our pets, this is especially important to us as one of our cats is 15 years old with an ongoing health problem. During a flare up of this condition, Maddison kept us updated on our cats health and administered medication to her. Maddison handled feeding our snake very well and he continued to eat well for her throughout the sit. He can sometimes be fussy so we know she followed our instructions well! As we were away for a longer period if was necessary for Maddison to forward some post to us, this was carried out promptly and it helped us keep in control of our life admin whilst we were travelling. Upon our return we found our apartment spotlessly clean, our cats relaxed and happy, the garden (including vegetables!) doing very well and our snake well fed and content. We wouldn't hesitate to welcome Maddison back for another housesit in the future and wholeheartedly recommend her!

Steve was an fantastic housesitter who was very easy to deal with and went way and above in several occasions, uncluding a trip to the vets, sorting out a replacement phone for me and very kindly giving me a lift to the airport. The cats clearly loved him and the house was kept spotless too.

Sophie was extremely enthusiastic and easy to work with. She was flexible about arrival and departure times and really did everything to accommodate us so we would have a stress free trip. She was very responsive during the whole process and the cats seemed to get on well with her. We would be happy to have her again!

Debby and John were superb dog sitters. They looked after our Labrador who was totally contented when we came home. The house was spotless I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Hopefully they will sit for Purday again

Elizabeth was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Not only is she really lovely as a person, she clearly adores dogs and fell in love with Archie, giving him the best care we could have asked for. Elizabeth arrived promptly the night before and joined us as a family for supper. She was excellent company and Archie immediately took to her. She was quick to take in all that was required and is capable, intelligent and efficient so we knew we were leaving everything in safe hands. We had regular updates and photos of Archie on his long walks and the house was immaculate on our return. Archie for sure was sad to see her leave and we will definitely love for Emma to stay with us again.

Aiden and Justin were an absolute delight. Dream house sitters in fact. They were so communicative from start to finish and even came the night before to get to know Woody and his quirks, and be on hand when we left early the next day. They left the house in immaculate condition which was a joy for us when returning from a camping trip and Woody seemed totally at ease in their company. I wish them both all the very best and highly recommend them for a housesit. They are welcome back here any time. Caroline

We were truly blessed to have Sirpa and her family housesit for us. The attention to detail that Sirpa went to was beyond our expectations. We left knowing that our dogs and house were in very safe caring hands. We received regular photos and updates of our pets and we came back to the cleanest and tidiest house imaginable. We've just had a 6 day break in France and would like to recommend our housesitters Dave & Heather. They took very good care of our two elderly cats Sam & Lucy. The cats love being with people & clearly enjoyed being looked after by our housesitters. Also, Sam, being a long-haired cat benefits from regular brushing & he was looking positively gorgeous on our return as he'd been brushed each day. Heather & Dave also sent us photos & messages to let us know how the cats were & left the house wonderfully clean & tidy with plants watered ready for our return.

Ingrid & Andy were absolutely fantastic! So kind and caring towards Henry , kept me informed dying the stay , and they left the house immaculate! I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely couple

Jordyn and her partner were so lovely! From the outset, she made time to speak in advance, asking lots of great questions to ensure she knew everything needed ahead of the sit. Hen got lots of great long walks, and an extra person to shower him with attention! Jordyn was flexible when my trip ended early, and was so sweet in wanting to look after Hen while I was back in the office - it really showed how much she loved my guy! Communication was good and the flat was left immaculate, for which I am so grateful. Most importantly, Henry was safe, happy, and well looked after. I would absolutely recommend Jordyn and not hesitate to invite her again.

We met Helena and Rolo a few weeks before our arranged get away. We felt so relaxed and comfortable and knew instantly our boys would be in safe hands with Helena. Her dog Rolo was such easy company too, our boys Stan and Wilfred trotted around with him as if they had known each other all their lives! We had plenty of great communication before, during and after Helena and Rolo cared for our boys while we went away. She sent us regular updates and some pretty amazing, thoughtful and funny video clips of the dogs together, both in the home and out on their walks. Helena kept us updated with news, we felt very reassured at all times. A perfect lady, we can't wait to see Helena and Rolo again, and hope we can look after Rolo some time when Helena may wish to go away! Thank you so much Helena and Rolo! Xxx
