We had written exchanges with Lee for almost a year (give or take) before we actually arrived for her sit. Throughout that year, we regularly checked-in with her as we all planned for our respective trips. We were very appreciative of the many ways in which Lee was thoughtful towards us, both as we planned and after we arrived. She gave us a good introduction to her home and Freckles (her adorable/handsome cat) and she also left some space in the bathroom, closet, kitchen cabinets, and fridge for our belongings. Another thoughtful gesture was that she had provided us with enough paper towels, kleenex, toilet paper, etc. to last throughout our stay - and then some. Her home was comfortable, safe and incredibly clean - so clean in fact that I was a little worried we would not be able to get it back to that same level of clean. Freckles was the most amazing cat - he is such a sweet guy! He loved attention but also really enjoyed time to himself. He has a cat door that allows him to come and go as he pleases - and I can’t imagine him with any other arrangement. He also has an internal alarm, so he knows when it’s time to eat! We really enjoyed our time with Freckles. I’ll also add that we all agreed the end date for this sit was flexible. And Lee ended up returning home early, with limited notice. In hindsight it’s clear there should have been more explicit agreements regarding what needs exist within the bounds of flexibility. Because of this, we did experience some stress at the end of the sit - which I know was not at all what Lee had intended. I attribute this to be because of a lack of clarity regarding the boundaries of the flexible end date. That said, we all managed to get what we needed and things worked out fine in the end - it just caused some stress. Given this experience, our only advice to any future sitters is to ensure that you have an alternative housing plan in place in case it’s needed.
I had the pleasure of house-sitting for Danya and her incredibly sweet companion, Tabata, for three weeks.😊 Danya was exceptionally welcoming, open, and full of positive energy. She took great care in ensuring that I felt right at home, paying attention to every little detail and ensuring I had everything I needed.🫶🏼 The apartment itself is truly a dream, boasting stunning views and equipped with all the necessities, including access to a pool, Jacuzzi, and gym. However, the real highlight is its prime location in Yaletown, with everything you could possibly need just steps away, and the beautiful waterfront parks nearby.🙌🏼 Tabata is an absolute sweetheart. She's incredibly laid-back, easy-going, and simply adorable. Making her happy is effortless – she loves being cuddled, eating, and sleeping. I'll definitely miss her presence.🧡 I wholeheartedly recommend house-sitting for Danya and Tabata. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Danya, for trusting me with your home and Tabs.☺️
Had a great time in Guelph !!! Bella was adorable and so easy going . Bok Bok is great and easy to care for . Brittany's house is beautiful and the yard is gigantic . Some great local craft beers in the fridge was so nice . Please do not hesitate to sit for Bella and Bok Bok you will love it
Had a lovely time sitting with Harold and Buster. Harold was easy to walk and loved to relax in my lap. He happily went in his crate for when I needed to leave the house. Buster is a sweet cat and politely requested her daily petting. The area is well located and I felt safe. The house was very comfortable and delightfully furnished. I did not lack for reading material, that is for sure! Communication with Rebecca was great. Definitely would be happy to sit for Rebecca again!
This was a lovely cat sit from start to finish, highly recommended! Jo is quick to respond to messages and her home is well organized for sitters and well situated. It is near the seafront, rail station and has all the shops nearby that I needed. The bedroom is so calm and quiet, so perfect for sleeping and the sunny garden was a peaceful place to enjoy the sun. The internet was fast so I was able to do my work zoom calls with no issues. The real highlight of the sit was spending time with Michonne and Titus. The instructions about their care are clear and easy to follow. They are sweet and gentle cats who like to be near you, so lovable and they will reward you with soft purrs when you stroke them. Both were happy to be on a lap or next to me and were lovely companions while working from home. They enjoy the feather wand and spending time together and with their temporary human. I highly recommend this sit and would gladly return.

Isobel has been terrific! I left her my bunny for a month last December while I was abroad and she has been treated as a queen. She has been spoiled as if she was Isobel's bunny with pets and treats. Also, communications have been really smooth, Isobel has kindly provided updates, pics and video so I have felt sure my baby was in good hands. I would definitely recommend and will be back should the need arise!
My bunny enjoyed his last minute ten day staycation at Birken Boarders so much, I’m sure he didn’t want to come home! 😊 Isobel truly is amazing and hands on when it comes to animals and their care, ensuring individual attention is given to all her guests. We left my daughter's guinea pigs with Isobel and we are pleased with how they were looked after. She sent us some pics of them and let us know how they were getting on. I definitely would recommend making contact with her if you need your guinea pigs looked after.
We usually left our guinea pigs with a family member if we went away, but during a big family wedding, we decided to book them in with Isobel at Birkin Boarders. I’d never gone to a boarders before, but Isobel put us at ease straight away, and our three piggies came back happy and healthy. Isobel looked after my pair of bonded rabbits at short notice during an off peak time of the year for about ten days. She was incredibly professional and organised, and allowed me to see the premises first. I really like that she provided updates by posting pictures on Facebook and also directly whilst I was away. My rabbits seemed really enriched and active coming back home in a cheerful mood.
My rabbits always enjoy their stay with Isobel very much and we have been returning for a while now, communication and facilities are A star.
This is a great place to look after my rabbit whenever we are away on holiday. He always comes back well groomed and looked after. The hutches are tidy and he gets a good run around in the garden when possible. Isobel is very nice and wish to respond with availability requests as well so couldn't ask for more

Me and my friend left our pets with Ria and she was fab with them.
My 6.5 month old puppy goes to Megs once a week and he loves it. He plays in the garden, goes to the park and woods for adventures, gets lots of attention and snuggles and meets other dogs. Meg sends pupdates during the day and it's obvious she adores dogs. Best of all, he's knackered that evening and most of the next day too.
Megan was the perfect sitter for our dog, Teddy. He’s quite a big dog but Megan was more than happy to look after him and he had a great time with her. She was very friendly, excellent with Teddy and I was grateful for her flexibility in arranging the logistics. She kept us updated with messages and photos while we were out and this was much appreciated. Will definitely be using her again and would highly recommend!
Rocky had her first day at Meg’s a few months back and she really enjoyed it! She’s a very timid dog but once she gets to know you she really comes out of her shell. It’s so nice to have someone I can trust with Rocky. I loved getting the little updates throughout the day. Highly recommend Four Legs & Meg and won’t hesitate to use again. Thank you again x
Meg looks after my Fox Terrier Rufus and he loves going there. Meg really understands him and I feel totally relaxed when he is there. I would definitely recommend Meg if you are looking for someone who cares as much about your dog as you do. It’s like a home from home.
Leia had a few stays at Megan’s and we are so happy about it! We had an hour assessment for Leia to meet Megan and Finn to make sure they get along before Leia actually stayed there. As Leia is quite young so we were kind of worried, but during the stays we received photos and updates regularly, it’s reassuring and we can tell Leia really enjoyed the stays! Because of the stays, Leia managed to get over the difficulties that pups have with meeting other dogs and became much more confident! It’s also a nice family home! Honestly we are so glad that we found Megan, she is so good with dogs and nice, we 100% trust her, we already booked in a few stays for Leia, definitely recommended!
Meg looks after my little 6 month old puppy Otis on a weekly basis when I have to go to work. Otis absolutely loves going to see Meg for daycare and runs all the way from the car into the house. I 100% trust Meg with him and am so grateful to have found her. The thing I value most is Meg’s flexibility. Sometimes I have last minute changes to my schedule which mean I need to book Otis in for extra days and she is always so accommodating. Thank you!

We booked Amy to look after our pups over our wedding weekend. She came to meet them for a trial walk beforehand and we were instantly put at ease by her calmness and how much the dogs liked her. She stayed at ours for a few nights and kept us updated throughout the long weekend with how the dogs were getting on. She also left the house spotless when she left! Amy is great with the dogs and we will definitely be booking with her again.

I am a veterinarian, so I have very high standards when it comes to pet care and safety. When Storm looked after my two rescue dogs, I can honestly say she went above and beyond. My dogs are not easy to look after! She handled my dog’s anxiety and medication needs beautifully. Storm took one of my dogs to his hydrotherapy appointment, and did his physio exercises at home with him. I received daily updates with gorgeous photos and videos. My two dogs were well-exercised, given loads of enrichment, and truly loved while I was away. Storm even left my house *cleaner* than it was when I went away. It was such a relief coming home to a clean house and an incredibly kind card and welcome home gift from Storm, personalised with photos of my dogs. My mind was completely at ease with my dogs in Storm’s care, and that is difficult thing to find! I knew they would be safe with her. I can honestly say my dogs are acting like they have had a holiday as well, seeming more relaxed and happy than ever. Can’t thank Storm enough for the wonderful care she provided for my dogs. Would highly recommend her services for anyone looking for a pet/house sitter.

Hayley is great. She provides lots of updates and is super responsive when organising dates for day care. She tries to be flexible where possible which has been a godsend when I started a new job and didn’t have full control of the days Patrick would need looking after. Patrick adores going to day care, spending time with his little friends but also snuggling up with Hayley. I would highly recommend Fido & Friend's to anyone looking for dog care.
Amazing service, our dog loves his visits to Hayley and Craig at Fido & Friends. We know he will always get a great walk, and being very needy, he gets plenty of attention and cuddles throughout the day! Hayley has looked after our little rescue dog a few times now whilst I've been away on holiday and I know he is always having a brilliant time. Hayley is super attentive to the needs of each individual dog to make sure they are happy and safe, so I know my boy is getting the same level of attention and fuss he would do at home. He loves playing and exploring with the other dogs, especially Little Dave! And Hayley sends lots of photos and videos so you can see what they are getting up to! This was buddy's second staycation with Hayley, Craig, little Dave and Charlie ( the dogs) he was very excited to return. Hayley runs a very organised and professional pet care service. From the moment your beloved pooch goes into her care, rest assured you will know that they are having the best time ever. I was updated all the time with fabulous photo's of buddy enjoying his time with the other doggy boarders and little Dave and Charlie. *** Awesome service! *** My dog has been walking with Hayley and her dogs for a few months now and she absolutely loves it. It’s nice to see the videos, photos and updates after her walk. :) She gets to play with lots of dogs on a regular basis which is lovely to see. On the odd occasion we need to change the day, Hayley is very accommodating and offers alternative days if she can. It’s nice to know she is local and only does this side of Chells Manor Stevenage which means my dog isn’t in the car for long. Hayley gives plenty of notice of her holidays book which means I can sort alternative plans out well in advance. I know my dog is safe, happy and well looked after when she is with Hayley. I would definitely recommend her services :)
My dog loves her time she spends with Hayley, Craig and their lovely dogs at Fido and Friends. My dog is a Romanian rescue and Hayley has spent so much time getting to know her and now she has flourished in their daycare and boarding. They go on lovely walks and countryside adventures followed by rest, fuss and lots of attention in their lovely home. I don’t know what we would do without Hayley and Craig, my dog sees them as her second family and gets very excited when the car pulls up outside their house!
My dogs love going for a. Adventure with Hayley and co! Hayley sends great pictures of the walk and the dogs are always tired afterwards. I get a report on how they have been and it has really helped with their confidence and being more social with other dogs. I highly recommend Fido and friends for fun walks with people who really love dogs.
Chloe is amazing ... utterly charming and instantly trustworthy ... she jumped in at the last minute and looked after our 2 kittens over the Christmas break ... following housesitting instructions to the letter ... and sending us daily photographs of Dolly and Beanz (rather good ones I may add!) ... will definitely be calling upon her services again.
We have been using Chloe and her girls on a regular basis for 3 years now. Chloe is always very responsive on texts. All are great with our dog and our dog loves them. They are sensible and don’t walk when it’s too hot but hang with the dog and provide company/distraction instead. I have a rescue dog, who is a bit tricky and has lots of needs, mostly around routines! he has had a very traumatic life. I very much wanted some time away and the Remraf team have made that possible!! Lisa from the team came for a meet up and some “get to know you” walks that went well and then she pet sat for 4 days with overnight sits and walks and it all went brilliantly😀 I am delighted with the care and attention she gave my boy and I felt happy and confident going away, knowing he would be so well cared for. Communication whilst I was away was excellent, with regular updates and photos. Chloe and Mel were so helpful, accommodating my greyhound sitting needs very late in the day (less than 2 weeks before I was due to go away and in peak holiday season). Communication was great and Mel came to meet my boy a few times so he would feel more comfortable with her. I got daily updates, photos, videos of his adventures with Mel (and other doggy friends, he loves other dogs), he had great walks in lovely settings. Chloe and Mel asked all the right questions for info about him and his needs, meaning nothing was missed (you know what it’s like, you do their routine without thinking, then don’t think to detail it all. No worries as they covered everything - routine, allergies, likes/dislikes, feeding, treats, meds, vet details etc). I was worried he wouldn’t want me back as he had such a good time. I had no concerns about leaving my fur baby or my house in their care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Remraf K9 services. Thank you so very much for enabling me to go on holiday with confidence that Hamish would be well cared for. As soon as I saw a picture of him roaching (as in picture attached) I knew he was relaxed (he was roaching from Day 2).

I have used Chloe on a number of occasions. I find her incredibly professional, riliable and capable, My animals range from dogs, cats rabbits , Guinea Pigs and rabbits and she can manage them all! She keeps me updated with lovely pictures whilst I’m away which is a lovely touch. I recommend her10/10 ⭐️⭐️
Chloe is a very enthusiastic and professional lady, she has helped us with our very reactive Labrador, providing training, printouts and advice. Our Lab also goes on a weekly walk with one of her walkers and she provided us with a sitter for an all day session, at short notice, so we could attend a family funeral. I know I can call Chloe at any time for advice and I have no hesitation in recommending RemRaf Pet Services.

The lovely people at We Love Pets Stevenage took such good care of our cat whilst we were on holiday, and kept us updated on their visits with photos and a few words. Very reassuring to know he was well looked after (didn't stop him being grumpy with us when we returned though!!!).

After loosing our older dog we decided that our other dog wouldn't cope with being in kennels by himself, so looked for a home boarder. We love pets was recommended to us. We did an over night sleepover and then a day visit to find the perfect match. We went away for a few days knowing our dog was being looked after and cared for like their own. With updates and photo's the whole time reassuring us he was happy and safe. We will definitely be using our home boarder again and would highly recommend we love pets!

We have an elderly golden retriever with mobility problems . We knew we couldn't put him into kennels and luckily found We love Pets , they were so caring . He was looked after in a family home, which we visited beforehand so they knew him , his needs & medication etc. Whilst he was there they updated us with photos so we knew he was happy and we could relax in the knowledge he was being well cared for. We would thoroughly recommend their services to anyone looking for home care for their fur baby !
We used WLPS to look after our 3 cats while we were away for a week. All our requests were taken care of and I have already booked them again for the next time we are away. It's nice to have found reliable and trustworthy people to look after the cats.
WLP have been fantastic in looking after our tortoise. Since we go away a few times a year, it’s a comfort to know there’s someone reliable and friendly available. Our tort is on good hands!
We have been using the pet sitting service for a year now and we could not be happier. Thor loves going there every week and he alsways comes back home a happy boy. Charlotte is always very responsive and willing to help with requests and the sitters are wonderful with Thor, so I feel peace of mind when he is there. The only thing I would change is having a more flexible cancellation policy, hence the 4 starts.
For our 9-month old dog first night away we had been very pleased with Charlotte and her team. Tasha has been great and did a wonderful job at caring about our dog like it was hers. She’s kept me informed regularly how she was doing through quick chat and photos sharing. Our dog had a great one night stay and we peacefully enjoyed our night out. Thanks a lot Tasha!

I was so nervous at leaving my klyde for the first time ever and boy did I need not to be. From leaving he walked off with excitement and on collection he was excited to see me again but he looked so well looked after. His coat was so fluffy and he was just as I left him, happy. The staff made me feel rest assured and I'm looking forward to knowing he will be in good hands when we go away again for 2 weeks. More than fair price boarding too. Appalling service from this kennels. My 2 family dogs stayed here for 4 nights, this was their first stay in a kennels and we told them that if they were not okay, I'd be happy to collect them. When they came home one had a severe urine infection, he was urinating blood. I was informed they were not walked the whole time because "they couldn't get near enough to put their harnesses on", even though I can guarantee if they'd gone in calmly with treats they'd have had them on in no time. The dogs returned home with their bed covered in urine. They told me this had only happened that morning but the bed was disgusting. When my mother emailed to complain, the response given was that everything said was a lie and none of what was complained about actually happened. It is one thing to treat someone's family pets poorly but to then accuse us of lying about this as well! Absolutely shocking. They were not at all apologetic for their lack of care. Do not send your pets here if you want them to return happy. We now have an extremely anxious dog afraid to leave the house and are now being called liars too.
Sent my 2 pups for 4 nights. Explained it was first time in kennels and if they weren’t coping to call my daughter who would pick them up. When collected they stated oh it’s good to see them happy. They had little to no human interaction as they kept barking. We’re not walked at all. Returned with bed covered in urine. One of the pups returned peeling blood and had a urine infection which the vet stated was from dehydration and stress. He was really not very well and had lots of blood and chrystals in his urine. This was not picked up by the kennels. I will never put my pups in kennels again and would advise anyone who loves their dog to avoid this place.
We've been using these kennels over the last few years. I went to book our dog in for next May 2025 only to be told that because we did not show up for the 2 weeks booked in 2023 and failed to let them know in advance of the cancellation we would have to pay a 50% non refundable deposit this time around. This is understandable. However, I did call them 3 months ahead of time and cancelled the booking and everything was fine but obviously the person I spoke with did not record this so it's been classed as a non attendance hence the 50 % deposit. So because of incompetence on the person I spoke to , I am deemed to be in the wrong. Our dog is 15 and no guarantees she'll even make it to next May so im certainly not preparesd to risk £212 of valuable money because of someone else's error. It's a shame it came to this but no more lemsford kennels for me. She's all booked elsewhere
I brought my cat (Cardinal Fang) to stay for a week, upon his return, he looked very well and happy, I have no issues or worries about him, I will bring him back again. The fees are more than reasonable. I am delighted about the place, and I have no problem in recommending them. There is a large open area that is in the open appearing to be spacious. Following the passing of Cardinal Fang, I now have 2 tabbies, the sisters spent a week here and as 1 is very nervous - they BOTH LOVED their stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Bizarre experience yesterday. We were lost and turned around in the car park to this place. The owner came out, stood in front of our car and began filming us. I wouldn't trust my dog with this guy. Weird behaviour, and no reasoning with him. Perhaps a gate would stop people turning around, and be more secure for the animals.
Really good place. It’s almost a farm with lists of open space and Our dog is really happy to be there. The only -ve I would say is it closes at 5 pm. So no chance of picking up your pet later in the evening. You have to arrange for 2 days instead of one which makes it a pricey affair :(
What a wonderful establishment! Lovely staff that seem to genuinely care about our babies just as much as we do. We have used the kennels and cattery for over 10 years now and both our cats and our spaniel love staying there for their hollidays, always happy and healthy ☺️
Just to say how pleased I am with Lemsford Kennels. They have a great team there who are helpful and friendly. Stimpy our Parson Russell Terrier has stayed there now on numerous occasions over the last year, he obviously likes it there as he goes in without a sideways glance at me! When I collect him he all cleaned up and excited to see me but he does keep a look out for the team just in case they have a treat for him. The whole area is extremely clean and the kennels have a bright airy feel. The kennels offer a wonderful home for Stimpy when we need to be out of town and I can fully recommend them.
Our Labrador loves staying at Lemsford Kennels. He is always happy to leave us for his holiday and we know he is well looked after by a caring team. 100% recommend.
We needed the services of a Dog Walker and were recommended to use Lead The Way. Nothing but a fantastic experience for our dog who just gets so excited to meet Ocean who takes him for a walk three days a week and he has such fun. Natasha and Katy are lovely people who you can tell adore dogs from the first time you meet them. My dog has been walking with Katy for 3 weeks now and has bonded with her instantly. I feel confident when he is with her and her photos from the walks show how much he enjoys her company! If you want reliable, kind and dog adoring walkers these are your people! Highly recommended.
Natasha is your go to dog walker if you need someone that can take your dog out AND have a great time. She treats the dogs as her own and always looks after them so well! Our 1,5 year old spaniel absolutely loves his walks with Natasha and the squad.
We use Natasha a couple of times a week for puppy visits. Natasha is extremely reliable and she is very much a dog lover. While on puppy visits she sends regular updates and photos (which are absolutely amazing) I feel completely at ease while at work knowing my puppy is being well looked after. Once my dog is old enough I will continue to use Lead the Way for dog walking. Having Natasha to help with our dog has made returning to work so much easier and I would 100% recommend her to anyone that needs help with their fur babies…

Had such a lovely experience with Natasha and her walking our dog. He is a big boy so was slightly anxious about having someone else walk him. All my fears were put to bed as she immediately bonded with him and he came back very content and ready for a nap! Would absolutely recommend Natasha with her friendly and professional etiquette, she is a natural dog magnet and my dog loves her and can’t wait for his next date!
My dog Buddy absolutely loves his walks with Lead the Way. He gets taken to lots of different places and has great fun playing with other dogs. Natasha is great with communication and we often get wonderful photos of him too. Couldn't recommend highly enough and so glad she's in Buddys life
Natasha has been amazing with my puppy. She loves, cares for and walks him for us and he has the best time! The app she uses tracks the walks which I love! She is flexible and is always willing to go above and beyond!
Natasha is brilliant with our excitable GS pup. He’s alway so happy to see her and even worn out when he’s back home.
