Loved this sit! Adorable fur babies, full of life and easy to walk, fun to be around. Beautiful gardens to sit and read, with a really good walk right out the door for the fur babies to wander. Rosie is very welcoming and generous, spot on with the information about the sit. There is a pub in the village, serves decent food. Groceries are several miles away, with good selection, M & S and Tesco along with Aldi. Cirencester is a fun town to walk around, full of shops, cafes, eateries and history. Of course the Cotswolds are a delight to be in. Highly recommend this sit, if possible, would love to look after Monty, Minnie and Maisie again.
Staying at Bill Maureen’s home, taking care of Ruthie and Bailey for 2+ months was an absolute delight! The cats personalities are both different, amazing and entertaining to interact with. They are affectionate and well behaved (for the most part). They are not the best of friends, but tolerate each other well enough, most of the time. They love being around people, will usually be in whatever room I am in, playing with toys, running around or sitting close by. Ruthie really loves her outside time. It’s nice to see her run around, chasing lizards, going up trees and digging small holes like she is a dog. Bailey loves being brushed and would let you do it all day long if you would like. They like open doors, prefer to accompany you to the bathroom and love sleeping in bed with you. Bill and Maureen had excellent communication. Answering questions in precise detail about pool maintenance, were quick to call a service person when the water went out. They were genuine and grateful for my sitting, and made me feel as if it was really my home when I stayed there. They are just really great people, we had nice friendly conversations. I feel fortunate to have met them.
Sorry about the delay, I thought I already left you some feedback... here it is! I had the pleasure of staying at Lindsay's place through the platform, and it was a delightful experience. Lindsay's two Huskies, Ciri and Xena, are absolutely adorable and incredibly cuddly. They made my stay all the more enjoyable. Not only are Ciri and Xena cute, but they also make fantastic coworkers if you work from home. They have a gentle and calm demeanor, which is perfect for a productive work environment. Going on walks with them was a real treat as they are well-behaved and don't pull on the leash. Plus, their lack of barking was a wonderful bonus, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One thing to note is that they do shed quite a bit, so having a lint roller on hand is a good idea. However, the minor inconvenience of dealing with some shedding is completely outweighed by the joy of spending time with these lovable pups. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Lindsay's place if you have the opportunity. Ciri and Xena are wonderful companions, and the experience is well worth it.
