Close to my sit there were strikes by the french train SNCF.
So I had to change my way of travelling in the last minutes.
Arriving Fréjus - 2 hours ago from Bormes - with an overnight bus at 4 am, Joan picked me up there at the bus station in the middle of the night.
Also she drove me to Toulon station, when I departed and helped me with my baggage.
Joan left me a refrigerator full of delicious things and the last evening she invited me to an unforgettable, delicious pizza.
Thanks Joan for your generosity and helpfulness.

Dobbin, a lovely old lady, reminded me of my male cat with her behaviour.
She told me very clearly, often with loud vocals, when and what she wanted. She likes very much eating.
That she is deaf, was no problem.
So she was resting on strategic places, that she could see me, when I came back.
She loved to spend some time on the balcony sofa in the sun.
She is an affectionate an easy-going cat, who likes company and being stroked and brushed.
I am missing her.

I enjoyed the great ocean view from the kitchen, the living room and the balcony.
Although it was winter, we had the best weather.

Bormes is a beautiful medieval village on a hill and the apartment of Joan is very centrally located.
My stay was in the off-season and I had no car.
But yet it was makable going the hill up and down to the crossery in Le Pin or to the bus station to Le Lavandou or further.
I found different walkways going up and down.
Sometimes I went by foot to the sea in Le Lavandou in only 40 minutes.
It was my daily gym and it gave me a good physical condition.
Joan lent me her backpack, so it was easy going shopping by foot.

Thank you Joan and Dobbin for a great time.
I would be pleased to come back.

Terren
Great group of dogs and guinea pigs - the dogs warmed up quickly and were great on their walks around the historic Asheville neighborhood. Terren was communicative and friendly throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

Sara
Really enjoyed my stay with Rocky! Such a sweet little man, as well as a first class cuddler. Those brown eyes will make your heart melt. Communication with Sara was superb, her home is beautiful, and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Susan
Dream sit! Annie is the most wonderful companion, always up for a walk and great on leash, snuggly at home and appreciates her napping time close by while we worked on the porch and office. Annie has a sense of great walking routes and showed us around the cool neighborhood of Mission Hills introducing us to all her fur buddies & humans.

Susan is a fabulous communicator and totally organized. Her home is beautiful and welcoming and she made us feel right at home from our very first meet-up prior to the sit. Another top sit and highly recommend to others!

Michael
Thanks Susan and Michael, we both enjoyed our experience with looking after your home and taking care of Jasper. He is a very sweet doggy. The morning walks with Jasper were great, looking at the snow capped French Pyrenees each morning was specatacular. There are a few walks to take Jasper on, which give a good variety.
Susan and Michael were very welcoming and generous hosts. They made sure we were comfortable with everything in the house before they left for their trip. Their house is nice and comfortable and an easy 10 minute walk to the village. Lots of villages nearby for day trips. We would be very happy to sit for you again. Best wishes, Christine et Peter

I loved sitting for Floyd whilst Tabby and Don were away!

Floyd is a sweet, independent cat. He loved exploring outside, belly rubs in the morning, and was really easy to take care of :-)

Communication was clear and easy from the beginning. They left a great guide, including lots of yummy restaurant recommendations. Tabby and Don made me feel very welcome in their home!

The flat is beautiful and clean - a lovely place to relax. It's walking distance to the Reservoir and Wetlands which I went to each day.

Highly recommend staying here :-)
