Our experience with Pattie and Niven will be difficult to match. From the moment Pattie welcomed us into her home we felt we had met a kindred spirit. She set us at ease immediately with her warmth and humor. We had a little education on Niven's previous life as a service dog and what we might observe in his behavior. He surpassed all expectations, in the best possible way. He was incredibly obedient and quiet but totally loving and cuddly when sitting beside, or half on top of, one or both of us on the couch. It was the most wonderful heart-felt connection. We left with a promise to keep in touch and dearly hope we get to spend more time with Pattie and Niven in the not too distant future. This was a truly special time for us.
It was a lovely experience housesitting for Brook and Brett! They're a super nice and chill couple who explained everything to us very clearly upon arrival and also gave us many recommendations of place to visit and things to do in the area. They were very responsive during the sit whenever we had questions and we maintained constant contact. Tini and Basta are absolutely adorable cats! We loved cuddling with them at night, playing with them throughout the day and taking them out for walks. They're very people-friendly cats and always wanted to be around us. We really enjoyed their company! Thank you so much Brook and Brett for a wonderful housesit! I 100% recommend this housesit to anyone who's visiting their area :)
I very much enjoyed watching Petey and Polka. Deborah provided all the information needed in a printed binder and quickly responded when I had questions. Petey and Polka were fun to be with. Petey was very chatty and liked to hang out while Polka was very shy. They got along--Petey would cry for Polka to come up so that they could eat together. Then they would play together. It was pretty sweet to watch. They were both incredibly well-behaved. As Debbie told me, if they did something they shouldn't (like scratching on the furniture), all I needed to do was to tell them no and they would stop. I work from home and the internet worked wonderfully (except the one day the power went out--that seems to happen a lot here in the Asheville area). Debbie has a beautiful garden so I got to enjoy so many varieties of daffodils. Their home was clean and Debbie treated me as a guest. I would sit here again in a heartbeat.
We loved staying in Alysha and Alex's beautiful, sunny, plant filled apartment looking after Satchmo and Santos. The location was perfect for exploring the city and there was plenty of street parking. Care instructions were clear to follow and communication was easy and natural throughout the stay. Satchmo and Santos are really cute! They were shy at first but ate well, looking forward to their next meal. Thank you for a very nice stay, Alysha and Alex! Best to you both!
Heather was great and left us clear instructions on everything. The place was great and had everything we needed. Location to many attractions close by. Her dogs were awesome, Nella and Langston were both very smart and a blast to just hang out with. Felix the cat was chill and did his own thing, but always came by to say hi.
