Leah and Matt were great, especially considering I have a somewhat high maintenance home and crew of inside/outside animals! I recieved excellent communication and pictures, which are always reassuring when you are away. They went above and beyond and took my dog on several hiking adventures, which was fantastic as she is a high energy dog and accustomed to getting a good run in most every day. They left the house very clean, I wouldn't hesitate to have them stay again if they were ever in the area. They were very kind, smart and respectful!
Can I give out more than 5 STARS?? Gail and Mike were beyond fabulous!! I felt comfortable from our 1st meeting via zoom and when we met in person, I knew it was going to be a great fit. Murphy switched gears to his “new parents” before we even left and I knew he was in for lots of snuggles! The communication was daily and I was so happy they could enjoy our town as well as just hang out and relax. We look forward to having them sit in the future 💕🐶
Matt was an exceptional house sitter! Great communications, very respectful. We have a pool and pets, so there were a few details for him to understand, which he did easily. We'd gladly have him house sit again for us.
My time at the farm was as glorious as I hoped it would be. Surrounded by forest, wonderful views of the Cambrians from the fields above the farm, utterly peaceful. The field with the descending lakes below the house felt as close to paradise as it's possible to get. Dilly is a very bright yet easy dog, the cats were no trouble at all, and I fell in love with the black hen! I spent many happy mornings sitting on the rock by the lake, and evenings watching the sunset from the fields behind, usually with Dilly and Wilma the cat for company. I enjoyed going to look at the sheep and lovely Longhorns, though sadly my livestock back-up man was unwell, and I wished I had more experience. Nearby Lampeter has a truly wonderful organic shop full of local veg and everything else I needed, but Geoff was also very generous. Communication was good before, during and after, with prompt responses to any questions. If you value peace, space, wild life and wild beauty above all else, you may well love this sit!
