I had the most wonderful time with Maluti! You will fall in love with this dog very quickly! He is the most adorable dog and a total dream to look after. He's exceptional on and off lead, so a real pleasure to walk. Jen and Mike have done such a good job training him. He’s perfectly behaved around other dogs and people too. He’s super affectionate and playful, but settles easily at home too and….. he’s just everything you want in a dog! He’s also a good passenger in the car if you would like to take him further afield. We had some really fun adventures and I really enjoyed exploring the local countryside together. I did not want to leave him at all! Jen and Mike were great – just a really good energy and warmth straight away. They made sure I had all the info I needed to work everything in the house, tips on local places to go for walks, and all of Maluti’s needs etc etc. They also left notes so I didn’t have to remember it all! The house is lovely too. They were very welcoming and I felt really comfortable staying in their lovely home and we Whatsapped while they were away. There are lots of pretty walks and scenery nearby. Internet connection is great – I worked from the house. I cannot recommend this sit enough! Maluti is the cutest! And Jen and Mike were amazing too. Thank you for such a wonderful few days :)
Annemieke is lovely and she will not only make you feel welcome but also leave you with a strong support network in case you need it. Next door, up the road or family, if need be. Luna is a gentle giant and Pico is full of fun and playful. Pico is also quite boisterous so he needs a firm hand but he will give you all the love in the world in return. ❤️ They are easy to feed and Annemieke leaves everything ready. Pinto the parrot is just adorable as well! A real chatter :). What I really appreciated was that Annemieke left me the area’s Doctor number just in case I needed one. Really thoughtful and kind! Thanks for everything Annemieke, looking forward to the next sit 😊
If you enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment surrounded by lovely countryside with numerous walks straight from the house, then we would recommend Jeremy and Julia's beautiful Sussex home. We were immediately made to feel at home on our arrival and appreciated the time that they both took to show us around and to explain all that was required whilst they were away. Various informative notes had also been left, which we found useful during our stay. Although there was access to the main house, our accommodation was in the converted oast house in the grounds, which was private and very comfortable with all facilities. Molly their dog was delightful and beautifully behaved, she quickly became a real companion. We enjoyed many long walks with her and it was hard to say goodbye to her! Pickle and Mog the 2 cats were quite independent and easy to look after but enjoyed company in the evenings. The village of Wadhurst was close by and Royal Tunbridge Wells would provide a great day out with its excellent shopping and many cafes and restaurants. Thank you both for a very enjoyable house sit!
I stayed for a week at Lauren’s and had such a nice time with Goji, Kimchi, and Pumpkin. They are all so sweet and kept me company while working from home. The neighborhood is really cool - I walked to a nearby coffee shop and park while I was there. Lauren was great and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Lauren’s spot for a future stay!
